She leaned forward and placed her hand on his leg. "It's just he's going through a hard time. He's at that age where it's hard to talk to them."

he kept looking at the floor and let out another sigh. "i know. it's just.. i know that he's feeling down cause of his condition but it feels like he thinks i dont love him. i don't care if he isn't able to fight. in fact i'm glad he can't. the last thing i want is for him to walk the path i had to."

"He thinks you want him to be like Garreth and Raine. He said that you give him these looks like you're disappointed in him." She looked down as well and just stayed there beside him to talk to him.

"i'm not dissapointed in him. i'm just worried about him. the only reason i worry is cause he wont tell me what's going on." he frowned some more and sat back a bit.
