*He takes another puff on his cigarette and moves over to the door... attempting to open it*

*he glances over and notes a board fuill of Keys hanging on hooks.... like thy have in fancier Hotels. He looks through them or rather.. praepares to.. but he is strangely drawn ro a single key.... Puzzled, he plucks it from its hook and examines it.. his eyes widening almost inperceptably as his own name reads across the tag of the key.*

What the.... blue Hell...

*He turned up for an explanation from Kara, but in the strangeness of the situation he could find no words.. so instead he trys the key in the door... turning it with an audible click before bursting through and back onto the dusty streets of Deadwater.*

*Mystina was in the middle of teaching a class of children how to forage for food, not really because they needed to know it, but because they asked. She faded into the Brink, kneeling on the ground, holding a berry up.*

Try not to take them directly off the plants -- it harms them, so check the ground first for fruit's or berries.

*She realizing that her class, was gone, and that she had appeared in the Brink again. She stood up, and looked around, noticing Kara*

Hi, Kara! *Mystina bounced over to her, happily fluttering her wings* How're you this Brinking? *She tilted her head to the side and gave Kara a little hug*

*Mystina blinked and wrapped her arms around Kara tightly* What's wrong Kara?

*Mystina noticed that Kara smelled a lot like human alcohol, which she knew did funny things to people sometimes. She figured maybe the alcohol just made Kara emotional, and stroked her hair* It's okay Kara, just let it all out hon.

*Mystina was completely, and utterly confused, she continued to hug Kara and began to rub Kara's back*

Shh... It's alright. It's going to be okay. Whatever it is you're sorry for I'm sure there's some way to make ammends for it. *She kissed Kara on the forehead* It's never as bad as it seems!

*Mystina hugged her and pulled out a hankerchief that was scented with something like sandalwood and jasmine, except sweeter and started to wipe Kara's tears up* It's okay Kara, you don't have to apologize... and call me Mystina, it's my name.

Even if you knew the consequences of doing something, that doesn't make it any easier dealing with them... *She hugged Kara softly* If you hold it in, it's only going to be worse for you. Don't feel bad about crying.

*Mystina shook her head* I am a Faerie, it's my species, but, my full name is Mystina of the Clan of Danann.

*She giggled* I have a secret name that I'm not allowed to speak except in ritual, that's kept on our temple scrolls, though. Mystina is just my... *She thinks for a moment, trying to put it into words.* My casual name.

*Mystina tilted her head, trying to think of a way to explain this... Writings? Well some humans did write about us... She thought.*

Well... We're similar to humans, except we live in a seprate world. Some humans can cross over into it, and inter-breed with us. Faeries are magical beings, we need magic, like humans need air.

Most faeries look just like normal humans, like you... But they're more in tune with our planet, we can feel what it feels, and communicate with it. This is part of why we don't go to Earth much anymore, because it hurts to hear the planet cry out.

*She tried to think of other things to add about faeries* Most faeries can perform feats humans would say are 'miracles'. We lived on Earth for a time, and, even interacted with humans frequently, until a certain point... My Mother started a 'no interference unless specifically requested' policy around 2000 years ago. Humans for the most part don't believe in us, but the ones whom do, we bestow our blessings upon.

*Mystina blinked and a look of incredibe sadness crossed her face* It is? What... what caused it to become that way?

*Mystina also wondered what, if anything, could be done to help it. She got an idea*
