To be honest, Our Numbers in guild members grow and decrease ever so frequently. Putting a break on production is not only good but healthy for all of the mods on here...

A lot of something isn't a good thing, it takes moderation to truly enjoy something let alone love it for what it is. This guild is WAY more Sophisticated than most in gaia to begin with so to say we're not allowed to take breaks from it's production let alone the guild all on it's own is insane...

Truthfully this s**t is starting to bore the living s**t out of me, So I'm taking a break so I can truly enjoy it when I get back into it.

Try running 10 miles none stop, eventually you'll tire out and quit due to the length and time in which you run. Nothing lasts for ever; however, it can survive through time.

NFS taking a break is a good thing in my opinion, we wrap up more inspiration through other things and then when we've all got the time and energy to focus on the guild it'll bounce back tenfold.

The numbers are unstable because the focus of our work now is not looking for new members. The concept to expand the guild in various ways comes first.
Revamping the concept of clones to be a bit more real
Adding and sorting out tons of new Normal Jutsu and even giving higher up ones requirements to obtain so there's a healthy selection.
Finishing the Academy
Adding plenty more missions for variety.
Various projects that come up here and there, etc

Breaks are healthy, but not in months long durations to another guild of the same theme.

The guild was already started and in process of change. It has been in-process since long before last September. That means that there's a due degree of responsibility to it's upkeep. It's not an entirely new concept that's just being built from the ground up. The guild is actually open. By suggesting that we are to completely shut the guild down so that we can par-take in another guild with a Naruto theme makes little since at all. We're shirking the work here and using that guild as an excuse. I'm also seeing no 'moderation' to these breaks either. You've also been away quite possibly longer than most anyone here. You left and went to OP and then dropped from there and I didn't see you here again until Vash and I started trying to slowly bring the guild back up. In order to run a guild and increase the player base appropriately, the mod team must be active. Breaks involving 9/10s of the guild that last month(s) do not equate to "A well run guild".

This would essentially be the Death of NFS. There's no interest in progress. We're just going to toil around in unfinished work and RP from time to time while we hop between an active guild and our own with only the same set people in our own.

I've walked 14 miles to get home on three occasions in the past. You can't relate the level of slack here to running 10 miles. Running 10 miles suggests you legitimately tired yourself out from working. That isn't the case here at all. The place that we're all 'breaking' to is another Naruto guild with a numbers system to regulate it. We're just running away from the unfinished work to par-take in something already successful in some degree. It's not even a change of RP subject.

Reasons as to why I've been legitimately gone for as long as I have been gone:

1. I'm 24, will be 25 this year.
2. I'm trying to grow up into an independent adult, I can't live with my parents much longer....
3. Gaiaonline is a source of entertainment for people who have free time.

As I see it, We no longer have free time available to put forth on this site let alone this guild. For you to insinuate that we've just grown lazy and Irresponsible towards the "Moderator" Duties of this guild is just ridiculous. Very Seldom have I ever seen things the way that you do.

Yes this guild has allot of "In progress" subjects within the guild. It does get tiresome after a while, having to deal with upgrades and keeping this guild alive.

this guild will never truly die so long as the Original people stay tuned in and understand that we are relatively busy within the last couple of years with real life, people are entering highschool let alone college now, For you to be busting our asses for how the guild is currently is really selfish of you, You may have time to log in every day and be able to enjoy the perks of gaia; however, People like, Sai, Sorain, and myself Do not get those perks, We have to make time and even with making time we may not be on long enough to do anything worth while.

You don't like that the guild isn't quite a live, move to another one, I went to OP for a change of Scenery, and influence, Like I said, it doesn't hurt to get idea's from other guilds let alone totally different content.

I'll eventually come back here; however, Right now is not a good time, I'm trying to live my life, I'm trying to be a productive adult, as many are too.

So stop complaining and find something you like, stop trying to focus in on things that obviously need time to marinate for better quality.

I've already spoken with Sai. The biggest issue with bringing the guild to life was not 'contributing time'. It was that after saying very flatly we need to take our own time and do what we can at our own paces, everyone rushed forth to deadline based work instead and as always, time just for personal enjoyment was restricted. The fact of the matter is that the primary group of mods are tired of even trying. From what I've been told, everyone wants to be the people without the responsibilities. That is, infact, shirking responsibilities to this guild and it's progress. It's nothing more or less. I get the point in wanting to just enjoy an RPG and not deal with responsibilities. Regardless of how you take it, that's exactly what's happened here though. Everyone dropped their responsibilities here and ran off to another guild. You can re-word it 100 times to try and make me out to be the bad guy, but you'll just be running in circles.

My issue is the Work Done vs Time Gone. When I came back it didn't seem like much of anything got done over the course of a good deal of months, but everyone was all over the concept of 'taking a break'. Taking a break from taking a break? If you can't see why I'm concerned from that last statement, then talking to you is a waste of my time. I've stopped caring at this point since no one else seems to.

A good reason why you and I don't often see eye-to-eye may come from the fact that after a dispute where you were ejected from Mods in OP for your ridiculous panic fit, I did your update for Bargain Bins and found you actually miscalculated and should've gotten 1000 Beli back. I left all my math and details in my mod tag at the bottom of your post. What did you do? You freaked out. You immediately started spitting acid at me over it and saying that somehow you would've gotten in trouble if I were wrong despite my tag and math IN YOUR UPDATE POST. That's a good example of why you and I don't see eye-to-eye. I wouldn't consider you the most stable or easily respected person I've ever met.

"Our". First off, you're not crew, so the work, burden, or lack there of, is not yours to claim. There's nothing selfish of it. If even a little time was committed every so often, which is not the hardest thing in this world, the guild would be much farther along than it is. I expect great things from the guild and it's people because the guild has potential and it's people are great. You talk big about personal responsibility and not having time because of real life, but where the hell do you think I've been? Strolling through the park not giving a ********? I'm 23 and I've been dealing with my own life and responsibilities. I am going back to school in the summer after being sent in circles by my college and now just last Sunday I caught the flu. It's destroyed my concentration and cost me a lot of work hours. It's not exactly the ideal free time you speak of.

No amount of time will equate to "marinate for better quality" if nothing is done. The end game is: Either the work gets done and NFS moves to a higher plateau or it doesn't and stays with partially done projects laid around.

This didn't just happen to be an issue when I came back and tried to get people motivated and going. It's an issue as far back as the timeskip. If it's not going to get done, then those intentions need to be clearly displayed. There was too much time in between to say no one could do anything at all. I'd rather not put any effort into things if it's not going to happen anyways.

Lul, I made normal techs possible, or have you not noticed.... rofl

I'm not even on the subject of OP, I could care less on that matter of subject. And as you still continue to complain and make it seem as if we're all lazy and uninterested you too have your own life, that's all that it is currently....

We've gotten older and Matured however much that we have and realized life isn't all fun and RPg's any more, we don't get to simply say screw this I'm going to slack off for the rest of the year for a RPG system...

that's the point I'm making.

Alright, i'm gonna have to side with Aizen on this one. NFS 2 is a culmination of ideas from Crew and non-crew members like Aizen(who spent a lot of time feeding us normal jutsus without being asked to. And even then, this guild is just a revamped version of the original. The entire being of NFS is built upon the work of many people who came before you. You have no right to call anyone selfish or lazy.

My second point is that we aren't competing with One Piece. The way they run things and the way we run things is completely different. It's one thing to criticize the way they do things and we know NFS is by far better than it, but continuing to compare the two isn't getting anyone anywhere. What is the point of even doing so?

My third point: Why are you condemning your fellow crew mates for "Abandoning ship and running off to another guild"? I can remember two periods of time in which you vanished completely without a word while the other mods and i were working our assess off. I even took it upon myself to do some of your work for you. When you came back, you were talking about how you'd rather do it yourself for personal reasons. I decided to back off and let you do your thing. But then you started knocking people for not using the hiatus thread, something you failed to do yourself TWICE for weeks at a time. I felt peeved about it, yet none of the other mods condemned you due to the same reasons Aizen stated. You had real life to deal with.

My fourth point: No matter how much work we do, NFS will never be a "finished product". It changes with every new generation. Is this the same guild you joined or migrated to a while ago? I doubt it. We are a family here, not perfect, but a family all the same. I don't appreciate you shooting us all down for wanting a little breather from the guild. If you see us a deserters or whatever, that's on you.

One additional note: while you were away work WAS done, there is an event story in the the process and there are a number of new systems in the works as well(mods available give me feed back in the discussion forum). And even though there is a called for hiatus that doesn't mean I'm quitting my mod duties here, should the arise and press forward I'll happily deal with them. In fact the only update I didn't finish was Aizen's items because he said he was gonna adjust them and due to real life stuffs, likely, never got the chance to do so.

tl;dr- I'm still intending to do any basic mod work needed during hiatus as well as continue the self assigned project I took as soon as proper input is given.

1. This conversation did not need to happen in the public OOC. If you have an issue with any decisions made relating to NFS, you bring it to me or Sai. Privately.

2. Do not mock any of the mods for leaving or going inactive. You have done so twice now, without any word, without any notice. You really need to work on your people skills before you begin judging others, although I understand where you are coming from in some areas you are lacking the socialization skills to properly convey your criticism without sounding as if you are attacking people.

3. Contrary to what you seem to believe, NFS 2 is not a new project. It is the collection of ideas and efforts that date back several years to NFS1. We have worked on this project for a long time and most of us have gotten a lot out of it. We managed to keep NFS active for a VERY long time. You need to understand that NFS can never be "Finished" it is a game that evolves and grows the longer we use it. I am sorry that you found us towards the ending stages, I am sorry that you didn't get to experience it in it's prime. But frankly speaking. We do not get paid to do this. We do this because we love NFS and we remember the good times that it gave us.

But seriously, How long are you expecting that we keep this up? Should we keep it up for another 10 years? 20? When are we allowed to stop? When have me and Sai done enough? I have news for you good sir. We have done more for this guild that you have, or ever will do. Please stop acting like your in a position to reprimand us for OUR lack of work. We have been putting hours into this guild before you even heard of it. When you have totaled up to the man hours that we have clocked, then you will be allowed to talk.

I recognize your name but I can't put a finger on who you are. What was your Country and RPC in NFS1? I'll find your profile from the original guild and get your DDs set up for you.
