You're right, you're just not -saying- it right. =o
Everything has heat, yep, but that doesn't mean everything radiates heat and gives it to whatever around. Something can hold energy without necessarily sharing it to other things.
I see your point, but if you're not gonna say it right, it's all void anyway. XP

Jonath Nell Now I want to ask you if it were a gas heater where would the heat be coming from? I'm not a gas heater professional, but if I'd have to take a guess, I'd go wild and say it comes from the gas.

To make a point that I don't think has been covered. In the initial conversation they were talking about heat signatures. And how there would be none, Isaac then made the leap that they meant no heat when what should be noted is that they are speaking to in relation to the environment around their mecha.

If the subject is the same temperature as it's surroundings, then it is invisible to a heat-sensing vision or device. Sensors that detect heat can only target something if there is a significant difference of temperature between the target and it's surroundings. Otherwise, if the target is relatively the same temperature as it's surroundings, the sensors will not detect it.
Best example of this: Arnold covering himself in mud to hide from the Predator.

Hey Sun, you know this extended discussion is steming from something that is happening in an Rp and I am actaully still Rping there.
Hey Darsh, are you reading the thing in FELD? I am not totally sure about what is happening there. I mean I could see Ryugai's point if we were on earth and he were using say a large building or mabe a large rockface out in the desert.

Yes perhaps you should, then after I rebuild and modify my mech, we can have a good old mech battle. Here is a little hint as to my next upgrade, lets just say this, my mech will have legs.
