I need to go to an anime convention sometime. Still haven't had that cherry popped. I've also been dying to try out some cosplay. I think I could pull off Ila from Rune Soldier if I tried hard enough.

Anime conventions aren't too far out of reach for me. There are usually some in Texas, which isn't too far. Iowa is also a comfortable drive away. Sooner or later, I'd like to go to California. Before it breaks off of the rest of the United States. To go hang out with Hawaii. Alaska can come, too.

Apparently, you haven't seen the toon "End of the World". Nice & funny if you can keep up with the narrator with the funny accent. Lemme see if I can find the url for you...

We should try to go to a convention together! My parents would probably be cool with that since there will be a bunch of people there. (They're so concerned, but that just means they care, right?)
If you guys ever need to go east, you could see if you like central Arkansas. Not much to do here, but it can be quite pretty in its own way. For that matter, if you guys do get the chance to drop by, try to make it the first weekend of May. That's when we have Toad Suck Daze. 3nodding

sug chan Toad Suck Daze? oO;;; That sounds rather interesting indeed. xd It's our main festival 'round her'. The festival is named after a bar that used to be at a park on the river. It was called Toad Suck because the ferrymen looked like toads sucking on their beers, or at least that's how I was told. Nowadays, it's an excuse for us to have carny rides, live music, greasy food, & overpriced knick-knacks. Perfect for tourism.

I'm not saying it's a tourist trap. There really is some worthwhile stuff there. I got a nice set of wine glasses from there last year. They were hand-painted, so some of the paint came off on a couple when they accidentally went through the dishwasher, but they're definitely still useable. I also got a nice spaghetti strap shirt from there that I still wear. Basically, it's the local shops selling you their stuff. The price really isn't inflated. Oh yeah, we have a car show there too & a friend of mine (who also happens to be a Gaian) always enters a car in there. Last year, her powder blue '66 Mustang won a first place trophy.

Oh that's pretty cool. ^^ Too bad about the wine glasses and all though. But they're still usable so it's all good. 3nodding
