ssAntonio As for should you scrap him or just change the aspect of blindness, I can not honestly tell you as I don't know what your current character or theoretical characters are. Why don't you post up some descriptions, I'm sure the members will have a fun time picking out what they personally find most interesting for you. I pulled kind of a Rock Lee in the back story, deciding that the character showed great determination to become a ninja despite his handicap. I had originally planned the character to be a (maybe stereotyped) blind swordsman. Taking the Kaguya bloodline made sense since Kimimaro was all about the swords dancing stuff. Since I have a dual bloodline DD, I took the Mizu bloodline as well to add some interesting flavor to the character. Creating a sword from just bones and ice should he be disarmed, ice skating along the ground, and of course the ice mirror shenanigans. After I graduated from the academy, I did some miscellaneous RP and then the Mist Swords event showed up. I started to try for one, but I never made it. At the present time, my character is 'traveling the world to learn what he can' type of thing, since Rain Village was empty save for me.

Oi! you've been the new OVA Shippuden video have you! that's one intense fight!
I actually love how Naruto Shippuden was done in a higher animation detailed program, It's unique and brings a whole new energy level to the anime.

Predictions from Naruto...Spoiler alert!
The new chapter brings forth the backbone for kakashi, It's been proven as fact that Sharingan can be fully awakened by killing that of your best friend.
I'm not stating Kakashi did this on purpose to a degree, given reasoning behind the action of course.
* He could have relapsed in vision due to Obito's interference / Hence the dual vision error.
* When he uses the Chidori his normal eye is closed for accuracy, this would support the relapsed vision theory.
* Another possibility is that it was just an accident due to the high velocity of the technique all on it's own. Kakashi wouldn't have mastered such an intense technique within the time Obito would have been away, that's my logic anyways.
* Last reason; however, very unlikely due to the triangle of interest between the three; however, I'll roll with it. Rin wanted to die to lay at rest with Obito and to give Kakashi a chance to survive in upcoming wars against other villages.
It's all possible, I'm not entirely sure on what happened but option 1, 2, and 3 make sense when combined together.

I doubt Kakashi would know about how to obtain the Magenkyo Sharingan on his own. I bet its a either theory A or B, or a mix of the two.
I also feel that it's important to note that he was fighting Mist ninja. It kind of looked like they were in the middle of a Hidden Mist Jutsu.
Either way, this kind of thing was actually foreshadowed forever ago when Minato said Kakashi's technique wasn't a perfected Jutsu.
When Kakashi got the Sharingan, he was able to perfect the Chidori because it gave him the reaction time to match his speed.
HOWEVER, in the event that he couldn't see, such as in a Mist (In the first Zabuza battle, it appeared that the Sharingan couldn't see through a dense fog) or because of interfering vision, Chidori would be a loose (and very dangerous) cannon.
Perhaps he saw a shadow in the Mist and went for it, or he couldn't see properly because of dueling visions... By time he saw it was Rin in front of him, it would be too late. And that's how he could have ******** up.
