If you want to get REALLY technical with succubi and incubi, they're demons that are absolutely horrid looking that come to a person in their sleep and pretty much rape them. It originates from the middle ages and girls who got pregnant before marriage would often blame an incubus for getting them pregnant, lol.
The vampires that feed off sex are named after these demons. razz

The vampires that feed off sex are named after these demons. razz thanks midori-chan! lately though, succubi have been viewed as extremely sexually attractive women and incubi as rather ugly or more along the lines of a male demon in general. for a funnier look at incubi and succubi, check out missmab.com one of the main characters finds out he's part incubi, and freaks out....although it would explain the little wings on his head.

Accually as I recall incubus and succubus where the names of two vampires orignally but I herd that from my friend echion so it might not be right.
