OMG YAY! My sister appealed to UCD and got in! She'll be the third girl from my family to go... I guess we have a legacy now, hehe.
I'm sooo happy for her, she had her heart set on UCD and fought HARD for it. She deserves this! <3

Hey Pasta Lady Pyre Yay for new NPC art. And new dialogue. Finally new dialogue! I fell in love with Louie all over again when he said this: Quote: No, I don't sparkle in the sunlight. Why do people keep asking me that? It's borderline racist.
...I'm kind of glad they put all the sets in the same stores. x.x That was always vaguely annoying.I like Vanessa's. Hate Ruby's, though. Angel wings? What the hell? And some of Peyo's dialogue is a little... "okay..." He looks about 10 years old, now. And he says the highest number is 92?

I don't like Ruby's or Vanessa's. The angel thing is bizarre. Vanessa looked intense and amazing before - the new artwork makes her look much weaker now, and that shade of purple does not suit her at all.
However, Ian is looking adorable, Edmund and Louie are sexy, Moira looks... pretty much the same, and Sasha's new outfit is cute.

I love Sasha's new look, she had her other outfit for so ******** long I was sick of it.
Louie is awesome, I like Vanessa's new look, and Moira doesn't look half bad.

Aivi - You thought Vanessa looked "intense and amazing"? Wow... I thought she just looked like a whore. Her boobs are obvious enough without her wearing a thin little t shirt cut down to damned near her belly button. I like the fact that she still has big boobs, but now they're covered. Really, I'd say she looks more "powerful" now. At least I know I can trust her with a blowdryer.
Edmund was always sexy. But Rufus is so cuuuuuuuuuute with his little cane and top hat. I'd squeeze him, but the cat hair... =(
Sasha looks more liker her personality, now. She's another one that looked like a tramp. I always tried to rationalize it by saying the a/c in her store was busted or something...
I like Moira's new piercing, but not so much the new tattoo. Her expression is better, too.
And mmmm... Louie.

Aldo *shudder* I'll be home alone for two weeks with the puppy. That's like, responsibilities! PUPPY! I love my dog. I always talk to him and ask him who is coming into the room etc. He's like my baby! XDD It's funny because I talk to kids like I would talk to any other person (Not "honey" or "sweetie" which are words I detest). And I talk to my dog like a baby. Haha! I haven't seen the new store fronts yet. I'll do that later.

Meh, they're alright. Moira looks younger, Peyo looks older and they didn't even shade Vanessa right--like they ran out of time or got lazy or something. I guess the shading isn't all the great on Ian either. I think the most impressive was Louie's outfit. I didn't care for Rufus. His eyes are too small. He looks more like Tom on Tom and Jerry. srsly.
Eh, I kinda liked the old ones. *shrug*

Yes, her pose was straight-on and she looked the viewer straight in the face - much stronger and simpler body language. And the way the art was colored was more vibrant and interesting. Plus, she was wearing the glasses, which I adored about her. This one is too softly shaded and can't seem to decide whether it wants to be cell-shading or not, the cutesy 3/4 angle is weak for her, and even though she's "covered up" she's puffing her chest out. Plus, her mouth is puckered up. Her body language is much more whorish and typical-tabloid-girl now. And why else would the artist choose to put her glasses on her head, instead of on her face? Looks like an attempt to make Vanessa be sexy/cutesy. I do agree about her new outfit, I like it more than the skimpy blouse (freaky purple aside). But like Sevi said, it looks like they rushed her artwork. She doesn't look like she got the same attention that the other NPCs did.

I don't think it looks weak so much as "I don't really give a damn that you're here," which fits her personality. I see what you're saying about the body language, but I still think it was more whorish to have all of her bits and pieces hanging out. Besides, I always thought her old art had the "come hither" look, so it's not really any more or less sexy. Just in a different way.
Since we're talking about storefronts... any of you dinosaurs have the old Halloween storefronts from 2003 saved? Those were my absolute favorites, but I lost them when I had to reformat my computer and found out that for some godforsaken reason my CD drive doesn't record. I miss vampire Meredith and zombie Ruby and Peyo. =(

I don't think I'm mature enough for uni.
My mom keeps badgering me, telling me I should study animation or something except I can't draw, and should stop pretending I am capable of studying anything serious.

My mom keeps badgering me, telling me I should study animation or something except I can't draw, and should stop pretending I am capable of studying anything serious. Fml. Since when do you have to be mature for university? Most kids I know are immature assholes with a superiority complex and who have no idea that university is a chance a good 90% of the population will never.
