An announcement resounds through the train with Erik's voice. "Ladies and gentlemen, we will be arriving at King's Cross shortly. I hope you had a pleasant trip home. See you next term."
Minutes later, the Express slows to a stop next to Platform Nine & Three Quarters, where many families await.

Sam sighs and starts to pick up her luggage. The trip seemed fairly short this year. Stepping off the train, Sam then began to look for her father. Instead she saw her uncle Harry. Puzzled, Sam walked over to him and began to walk away with him.

"Wow, that trip felt even shorter than usual," mused Kitty aloud as she picked up her barn owl Rasey and enchanted her trunk to follow her. The seventh year got off the train and looked around for her mother. "Hi, Mom!" she waved and the two left together.

"My God that was fast!" Tabby said as she jumped out of her seat. "Well goodbye everyone, see you next term." She gave the train one last sweeping look and hopped off with her trunk. She looked round and saw her oldest sister waiting for her. Tabby smiled at her and walked away with her.

"Hmmm thats the truth. Wow this trip was short this time. Well i'll see you later Sam." Grabs Luna and messanger bag and walks off of the train. Spots my friend Cody and family and breaks out into a big smile and runs up to Cody and be wrapped up in a big hug by him! Before hugging the rest of the family. Waves at friends and says..."Bye Kitty, Lyra, and Tabby see you later." before heading out.

Lyra wakes up when the train stops moving. "Has something happened?" Lyra asks groggily, wondering why they have stopped. She rubs her eyes and realizes that they are at King's Cross. "Wow. Either I slept for a LOT longer than I intended, or that was very fast." She picks up her trunk and owl and gets off the train to find her parents.
