:::And just like every other time he was gone...
she lifted her gaze finally to look at the spot he was sitting in. Cora walked around the chair so that she could sit down in it without moving it, so it would be the way he had left it. Once she was there, her elbows propped onto the table and she burried her head in her hands, crying finally.
She knew Luke cared about her... at least, she thought so. He acted as though he cared about her, didn't he? She'd told him on multiple occasions how much she cared about him, but it dawned on her that he never said anything like that to her. She could think of no other explination, other than he must really not care that much. Why else wouldn't he have said anything by now?
Cora started to think about leaving the Brink. Really leaving, and going to live in Kara and Kal's world. A home built for her, seemed to good to be true. But people who didn't even know her faught for it and built it...
But thinking of that made her want to cry even more...:::

:::After sitting there for almost an hour, just letting her thoughts do as they pleased, all of her emotions started running together. The things she felt about Luke, about leaving the Brink, about the Seraphim, about Alex and the Captain. She couldn't figure out how it was possible for someone's mind to become such a cluttered mess:::
:::Crying all that time whiped her out. She decided to go back to her room to sleep, and when she woke up she'd dig herself back into the books waiting for her in the library:::

[Andrew fades in. He is sitting at a table with a lopsided origami bird in his hand. He sees that he is back in the Brink and looks around.]

[Andrew faces her and looks her over one time with each setting. She seems human enough. He likes her hair. It reminds him of a certain other red-haired girl he knows.]
