Never heard of this before either.

But your self-concept is more on the female side?

Far as gender-bias goes... hmmm, the political economic structure of the world favors men definitely. (Am I glad I'm not in the Middle East!) But I am biased in that I think females are much more developed in the things that are important to me, such as flexible minds, multiple capabilities, nurturing, stuff like that.

Apologies in advance to any of our male member who may read this. It's just been my experience that these qualities are rare in men.

I'm off for a bit to get dinner together and then take a walk. Back later, no doubt.

Oh yeah. It's been more female all my life.. BUT there are times I feel more 'male' than other times. You know Jamie Lee Curtis? There's an urban legend that has it she's AIS. They used to call us all "males" even if we totally look female excet for one or two things. Most of us just HATE that so recently science has taken to calling us 'XY females'
..and you know what? I don't think so on that 'caring, nurturing, sensitivity stuff. I just think anglo european/ anglo-american society has brought most of us up with regidly defined roles. Males really have it worse than we tend to think because they are forced to live lives in which they can't just be silly, cry, be tender, etc. You see it all the time in the high schools where the bullies are knocking the living stuffings out of the sweet guys.

I'm juat glad I can be recognized as a girl and not have to worry about all that crap.
