"Mmm steak...I dare say you spoil me sometimes in such ways." Yes he was feeling particularly a bit playful in a way. Which was indeed an odd sensation to have in and of itself. But another look to her, slipping that hand he had on her under her tunic and poking her in the stomach near her navel ring. "He didn't rip it out as much as punch it in." But he listened to her a moment and thought in silence. "In other words you're worried about him, aren't you?"
"I thought they were called biscuits when you're at a tea party." Poking her in the ribs just because he had caught her there. Hey if she was going to chastise him, then he was going to do the same on the tea party issue. "You talked about Arthur did you? Did you prove insightful in that wonderful child like way where eyes are unclouded and you can see the simplicity in a situation?"
"He had the right to keep having at your because you did overstep bounds. In an elven world that is a high form of disrespect to disreguard the authority of those at the head of the House. And Malik does not want to come off as weak, which is why he acts the way he does. You didn't live in drow society, I have and let me tell you, it's very very different." Shaking her head lightly. Though she looked away and dropped her own gaze as he went on...wow good job in making her feel bad for telling the truth. "I'm sure you could find something about them here." Quiet for another moment, it was kind of like he was almost verbally attacking her. "If you can't find a positive in all of that and have to ask, then maybe you shouldn't go Arthur, maybe you aren't ready...adn that's what Malik is talking about. You have to have your resolute motivation for things you want to do...you can't second guess...you have to merely dive in and wing it. He's really just trying to keep us all safe...not out to get you and make your life hell...and that is what he wants to see from you, to let you go. Think about it." Shaking her head and turning, walking out of his room and pulling the door closed behind her. Yes Arthur got much too riled up so easily.
Okay, time to go find Malik. Which was easy with bond sensing now wasn't it, her feet leading her to the dinning room where he was alone at the table. She merely walked up and around his chair, grabbing the back of it and pulling him from the table some befor she slipped into his lap so that she was straddling him. Piper took his jaw in her hands, tilting his head for a kiss that was rather passion fire tinted, though perhaps a tad bit deperate at the same time. Only to barely pull back so that her lips were brushing his as she spole. "Tell me that you still love me."

Again Arthur was ticked off about the fight between him and Malik, even though he went against the head of the house he still respected him by saying he was sorry for acting out of line, in human society, even though everyone here would frown on this example, if someone were to apologize for their own rude behavior the other would respect their response as kindly as possible; but yes he was living in a elven house so things are different for him. Though when Piper mentioned to him that he could probably find something about his parents here he opened his eyes and looked at her with much expression. "The ship they were on was raided by pirates, I don't know where to even look." But he allowed her to go on, about how if he couldn't find anything good then maybe he shouldn't even leave at all; how he needs to stop second guessing and just go for it, though he was a bit surprised when she told him that Malik did want him to go, well why didn't he say so in the first place? Gods that man was never direct at all! Though it was a bit hard to believe that so Arthur had to think it over a little. Though he did raise an eyebrow when Piper just up and left him. "Thanks for the conversation Piper..." He muttered softly and sighed, grabbing the book he was reading before and headed out, telling a near by serf to take the books back to the library before heading down the hallways, his eye on the page while his mind thinking of things; though of course he kept his senses on everything around him just incase. But after awhile he happened to hear two voices and he looked up to see Kieran and little Lark, another pair of friendly faces. "Hello Kieran, Lark, how's it going?

His hands went around her waist instinctively and he kissed her back, and looked into her eyes with his own, tracing a finger down her cheek.
"My love for you will always be. nothing will change that."
squeezing her rear just because.
"What's troubling you, chev'?"

"Arthur, you're back? I thought you had left to go get your personal space?" An inquisitve look to the much younger elf, tilting his head lightly. But a light shrug and a smile to Lark. "We're debating names of things."
Piper watched him a moment, giving the softest of smiles she could then another softer kiss from her as she let a hand lace back through his hair and over one of his ears before her dropped her head to take attention to his throat with the same affectionate actions. "I just need to hear it sometimes." Okay so really, we were suffering from a drow complex moment as well as a little upset and not to mention she was always all stressed these days anyway and handled it in her own manner. Why did she end up being the referee in these situations? Though yes she was always on Malik side...and she had half a mind to strip Arthur of any connection to this house or those in it if he kept on thinking Malik was after him. Piper could only take but so much. But back to lavishing affections on Malik because she could and it also meant she didn't have to talk if her lips were occupied, right?

"Of course I do, just because I can." She giggled slightly and jerked against him as he poked her and shook her head, "No but he caused serious damage." She opened her mouth, then shut it and wondered what to say. "Maybe. A little bit. He does some really stupid things sometimes, acts like a human and annoys me but I'd hate to see any real harm come to him. It's...complicated."
"Well yes but you do'nt know that yet so I have to say cookies so you'll know what I mean." She giggled happily and then shrugged. "I told him he needed to be nicer to him, that's all." Then a wave to Galesen. "Hi Galesen. I just finished all of Daddy Kieran's lunch. What 'bout you?"

Arthur paused in his steps and shrugged lightly at Kieran before closing the book that was in his hands. "Yeah I did but I had reasons for coming back." A small wave to little Lark as he walked over to them and smiled a little bit. "Well I did some training, then I was reading up on some of the gods down here..." He paused to wave the book in his hand a little. "And I had to babysit the Malikhai and Zykariel then had a chat with Piper..." Though there was a pause as he looked around. "Where's Isle?" He asked as he looked back and forth between both elves.

"It's alright if you do you know...after all, you're not the normal female drow and you did sleep with him for at least a year. He's young, and as a young elf who has never really had too traumatic an experience he's still very open and that makes him vulnerable. His emotions are tripped easily thus the stupid things." Pausing a moment...analyze people from time to time was what he did well. A nuzzle at her hair and a sigh, ruffling it some with his breath. "Complicated just needs to be simplified and then it is no longer frustrating." Quiet again for a moment. "It's alright, to care...but don't let yourself get sucked in so there's no more Zahara to care about either. Surface elves you know and their traitorous ways." Of course he had had to poke abotu that.
"Oh so you're just trying to keep old me from being confused are you? Saying I'm too old to keep it straight?" Another poke at her ribs and then a look back to Arthur. "Well, you've just done quite a but since you've been back. Efficency, I like that in a young elf." Giving a chuckle and a clap on the back for Arthur. "Isle is in her room resting. Much as she would like to prove Malik wrong, he's going to be right about this one. Pain is starting to set in for her."

hey they were the masters of the house, they could do anything they wanted anywhere they wanted. so all of her affections he gave back, kissing, caressing, and doting on her affections and making sure whatever was troubling her was gotten rid of by keeping her otherwise occupied. No need for questions, and no need for answers. Nevermind the fact that if he had the clue that arthur had put her in this kind of situation he'd probably beat him within an inch of his life.

"Yes I did but it wasn't..." she trailed off searching for the correct word. "Right. Something always felt wrong about it and I don't care about him that way. I'm not even sure I ever did. He was too enveloped in appearances and I always felt like I was putting on a show for him. And that's no different than what I used to do just without the cruelty part." She closed her eyes and sighed softly. "I just want to help. Him, Piper...that's all I've ever wanted to do. Piper strains against my help and Arthur gets defensive. Maybe I just shouldn't say anything anymore..." She paused for a moment. "You know Arthur jumped down my throat for sleeping with you? Even during my instincts, which he clearly can't handle." She scoffed, "That's what he was apologizing for. We had a big fight a few weeks ago and I ended it for good. I can't be controlled. Not ever again."
"Daddy Kieran!" she giggled. "You're not old. Grandpa is old. Really, really, really old but don't tell him I said that. You're just silly sometimes and I wanted you to know for sure what I was talking about. Do you think I gave Malik good advice?" Then her voice dropped. "Is Isle gonna be okay?"

Arthur chuckled lightly and grinned a little, at least he's getting some positive feedback for a change, ego boost anyone? A small one but a good one none the less. "Thanks Kieran, that's good to hear coming from you." Though he had a sad look to him when he heard about Isle, but in less than a moment he was smiling a little bit. "well now she knows what it's like to go up against him, gotta think twice before trying her luck next time. But trust me she's not the only one who wants to prove him wrong." A tiny hint of anger was in his voice, though it was hardly noticeable. Though there was a small paused before he had to ask. "You think I'm making a good decision about going to Andal?"

More or less making out in the dinning room? Who cared? Anyone who had been there more than a week knew it was better to just give them their privacy and go find a different place in the house to occupy. And well her being in just as robe as well made all the more fun too for his returned affections. It was nice when he didn't ask sometimes and just indulged her. But she pulled back from him a moment, merely watching him for a span of time in that way that they could indulge in for hours. A shake of her head lightly. "I'm not going to have him acting like you're out to get him anymore Malik. No more of it. I don't care what kind of faith you may have in him, or what plans you have or what anyone else thinks for that matter." She had a rather serious tone didn't she?
He listened, absorbed, processed all in his head, thinking what he wanted to say back to her. "Piper I can understand...she's living with drow and married to one...she feels she had to keep apperances...besides haven't you said she's always had some sort of aversion to healers or something?" A wave of his free hand dismissively before the other one around her rested on her hip lightly. "Arthur is merely fighting the current because he feels no one is offering to help him, or if they are they want to humiliate him first."
Giving his own scoff. "Come now, those things eventually get through...after all, Piper has done it many a time to you. It eventually just worms its way into one's brain and sticks." But another pause from him as he processed again. "So that's what happened...I was curious as to why you weren't spending time with him as much as you used to."
"Right, won't tell him. And Isleandra will be fine dear." A comforting pat to ther girl that he held. "I think you gave Malik very good advice. Good skill to have." Another chuckle, turning his attention back to Arthur. "It's good she's had the experience so that she can learn from it. You always need to be beat at least a dozen times by someone before things start to make sense I've always said." Oh Kieran, we love you. And then the Andal thing again. "That decision is yours to make. I think you should look at it at all angles and choose what you think is the best answer. We have to make our own descisions and prove things to ourselves Arthur. No one can do that for us."

"Yes and she can't stand bedrest. I wouldn't put her on it if I knew she'd just take it easy. But she can't, she's got to go constantly even when she's got a concussion." He got a poke in the chest. "A lot like you in that respect." She watched his hand closely, felt it rest against her hip and waited for her fear to rise and her mind to start getting cloudy. She waited for the overwhelming urge to shove his hand away but it never came. Her body had stiffened momentarily as she'd braced herself for the onslaught and now it relaxed as though she were a cloth that had been wrung free of it's water. She focused her attention back on the conversation. "That is true and if I weren't so stubborn to begin with, we really wouldn' thave had that much of a problem. I guess when one gets on a certain track they just remain there until a really big obstacle forces them to find a new one or shoves them off."
Well that made her all the happier and she was content to just hang there with him, looping her arms around his neck and watching Galesen. "You don't always say that, Daddy Kieran. i've only heard it twice." She glanced at Galesen and grinned, "But Andal is a really pretty place and you can meet all the kings and queens and Isle can take you on her boat. That's really neat."

Arthur chuckled lightly at Kieran's comment on what happened to Isle, he had a point and the younger elf can easily point out a moments where it was like that for him. "Yeah I have fought Malik twice already and I've learned a few things from what I've went through, so if we do go at it again it's a simple process." Though he looked at the elf for a moment before turning away slightly. "Thanks for the advice Kieran..." He said in a soft tone and sighed a little as he stood there with a book in one hands and his other hand pinching the brow of his nose, he needed something to relieve this pressure he has on him; Malik wanted him to go but it seemed like he wanted him to stay, Piper and Kieran say it's up to him. If he goes he has a better chance of screwing everyone up than actually gaining, if he stays he'll never go and probably everyone would think of him differently for causing all this trouble. What a nice choice on him. Though he looked at Lark and smiled a little, sweet innocence it was so cute. "I know that Lark but there are other things to consider with all of this..." And he hated it, a lot.

He gave a grunt in reponse to being like Piper in any resecpt. After all, he was just being Sevilin, and thus his hand came up to pet through her hair as he inclined his head a moment to press a kiss to the back of her neck. "You are learning a lot these days I see. That's good to know that it only takes but so long for you to learn something that you'll benifit from in the end." Poking fun at her just because he could, letting a hand tug at the tunic she had confiscated to unbunch the fabric some.
"Yes I do, you're just not around to hear me say it." Rolling his eyes the slightest bit. Children were cute, weren't they? But he reached a hand out once again and clapped him on the back once more to strighten his posture. "Don't slouch, bad for your back. Come now, it's not the end of the world. There will be decisions much harder than this one in your life Arthur, you just have to decide if you're grown up enough yet. We elves have all the time in the world, but sometimes the world itself does not have enough time for us."

His eyes narrowed slightly. So is that the reason for the indulgence? little Arthur? what had that little piss ant surface bred pain in the rear done this time..but a slight smirk and a shrug.
"As you wish."
Okay, then back to indulging in other things. after all, she started it.
