He looked disappointed for a moment and then made his own decision, crossing his arms and merely setting his book down. "I don't fee like it." After all, Arthur couldn't tell him what to do after all. He wasn't mommy or daddy. Though he analyzed what he had been told and he blinked. "Were you dizzy?" Because when you were dizzy you ran into things at odd angles and fell down a lot.
Then a look to his friend again and back to Arthur. "That's a good idea Arthur, Zahara can fix anything!" He knew she was a good healer, she took care of everyone when they were feeling or looking icky.
He watched her sitting there in his tunic, the particular one he had worn that day was the one he had had forever and had even been wearing in fact the day he came to this place. He titled his head lightly at that look...somehow he found it rather pleasing to see her like that, catching little snatches of skin from her movements and the particular cut and style the garment was in...in fact he found it quite a bit arousing...though he was quick to shake his head because that was an odd thought. Why would her in his clothes make him think like that?
"I think it would of been accompanied by the phrase, 'mommy what are you doing to daddy'." After all, Zahara was indeed the one on top now wasn't she? And I'm sure the explaination would be quick fired and quite hilarious when everyone looks back on it." Giving a chuckle and a cough, letting an arm slip about her waist.
Piper loved her bathroom...hey, having the fanciest bedroom meant you had the fanciest personal bathroom in the house. Nice deep tub and such that she could just soak in to her heart's content. Sure, she could of gone to the spas but she wanted a little privacy this time around and didn't want anyone random to bother her. Thus her wet clothes lay in a pile on the floor, as she was reclined back against the back of the tub, arms laying across the edge and her head resting back, staring at the ceiling. Her hair was outof the water right now, draped outside the tub and someone puddled on teh floor, creating a water puddle of it's own. She'd eventually pull it into the water with herself and wash it, but right now she was soaking.

Arthur blinked at Malikhai and sighed, he was a stubborn one that's for sure. "Well then fine, if you want to be that way go ahead, I'll just tell your mom you didn't study like she asked you to do and she'll probably make you study even more; best to get it over now than later." So if the little boy wanted to deal with that he can go right ahead. "I know I should of Zykariel, I was trying to carry my lunch when I walked into the table by mistake." Though when both boys mentioned that he should go see Zahara he shook his head and chuckled. "No I'm fine and I wasn't dizzy, but I don't think I need to bother Zahara because I don't feel that bad anymore; the pain has almost passed." Though he looked at Zahara's son and raised an eyebrow. "Where did you come from anyway and didn't you hear of knocking?"

"My Mommy would want to see it anyway just to make sure. But if you really feel okay, then you should get rid of that bag of ice. Malik won't like it if you get water all over his floors. His people will have to clean it up." He crossed his legs and glanced at the book. "Didn't we already do that stuff once today? I helped you before we went to play."
Adn then back over to Arthur with a skeptical look. That sounded odd to him. To hit himself at a funny angle like that when he wasn't dizzy... But he shrugged it off as something silly Arthur had done and glanced at the door. "It's open. I was in with Mommy and Daddy. They were taking reverie together but they were up when I went to see them."
Zahara's eyes widened as she thought about it and she shook her head. "I'd just blame it on you. Daddy decided to tickle me so I decided to sit on him so he couldn't do it anymore." She chuckled and shook her head just imagining the awkwardness of that sort of moment. "We could just say we were playing cards and drinking rum..."

He srunched his nose and kept his arms crossed to Arthur. Mommy had said try to get him to study...well Arthur had tried and he didn't want to. Mommy didn't say he had to study or that he'd get in trouble if he didn't. Daddy had taught him loopholes.
"Or someone may slip. Besides, daddy says that when you get hurt and you're not bleeding and can still move and are still alive, that you should walk it off because then you'll be able to handle that pain and you'll be stronger." Beaming as he remembered such a thing before looking to his friend. "We did math earlier, this is my reading and writing."
Okay that got a laugh and a lopsided grin out of him as one hand trailed over the front of his tunic that she wore. It was indeed intriguing to see her in his clothes like that. Very much so indeed. "Except I think we all mean it literally when we're playing cards and drinking rum, not what we were doing." Giving another chuckle to that that was followed by a slight and short coughing fit. "He's gotta learn to knock."

Arthur chuckled again and sighed as he looked down at the bag of ice for a little bit, he still needed it for now. "Don't worry about the ice Zykariel I'm almost done with it, just maybe about ten minutes and I can get rid of it." Though a look at Malikhai and he grinned a little bit, but he let the boy not do his studying, if he wanted to neglect what his parents were trying to do for him then he is not in a position to bug him about it. "True your dad is right but I decided to sit down here on this bed and let what happened to me settle it out in it's own way, besides I rather not read and walk at the same time, might make me walk into some things again." Another chuckle at that before he asked them. "So what are your parents teaching you guys? Other than math, writing and all that."

Zykariel was still slightly confused over the ice abut he didn't say anything more about it. PHe made a mental note to mention to Mommy later that Arthur needed healing and wasn't getting it like he was supposed to. She hated it when he or Daddy didn't do what they were supposed to when it came to healing. Maikhai's expression brought out that protective feeling and he gave a look to Arthur, "You don't study when you're supposed to either. Isnt' that why Mr. Malik was yelling at you earlier?"
He glanced at Malikhai's book and nodded. "They make you study lots don't they? Daddy lets me read to him sometimes and I have to do math too but most of the time I get out of it. Mommy is making me learn plants and stuff though. She said I might need them someday though I don't see why 'cause she's around. And now that she's my Mommy I can just ask her what something is and does."
She turned to watch him laugh, delighted that something she had said had caused it...until he started to cough and then she reached behind him and rubbed his back lightly. "That's really starting to worry me..." Shaking her head, she shrugged, "Well if he doesn't next time and sees something he'd rather not, maybe he'll learn then, hmm?"

He gave a sly look as his friend more or less stood up from him rather nicely. Hey they children had been at the table when the two elves had exchanged those words, you think it just glanced off of them. But a shrug to Arhur about the pain thing. "Alright, but it's gonna hurt just as much if it happens again." In that chastising tone he had learned from his father.
Another look to Zykariel. "Mommy and daddy say it's because I need to be well prepared for when I'm older and it's best to start early do you can finish sooner and move onto other things." Quoting what he had been told.
He blinked at her mentioning of being worried and decided that she was referring to his coughing, but regardless he didn't say anything to her about her particular opinion. "I suppose...but from personal experience you see a lot of things that really aren't pleasant that way far too often. I'll just train him into it by locking every door in the house. He won't be able to just walk around then and will have to knock." Pulling her to his side a little closer, resting his head on top of hers a moment.

Arthur sighed a little when little Zykariel commeneted about the fight he was in with Malik eariler, kids they always had to talk about everything huh? "I study when I want to, Malik thinks I slack and yes I do from time to time but he doesn't see me train or study at home; but that doesn't mean Malikhai should slack on his own studies." A little look to the boy when he said that but sighed and pulled away the ice, setting it on the nightstand next to his bed. "Well that's done." He said out loud and turned back to the kids for a moment. "Well since you don't want to study then I'll do something for you..." He looked around for a moment before glancing at the ice cubes and smiled before taking one and putting it in his hand; he waited for it to melt into a puddle then closed his eye. For a moment nothing happened then the water began to move and in seconds it formed into an orb, it even levitated off his hand a little bit. With a small smirk the elf opened his eye at the two boys. "So what do you think?"

The cubboard doors were pried open... Kora sheilded herself from the small torrent of dust that sprinkled about and danced in the light. She scrunched her nose and hurriedly fanned the ofending dust away with both her hands.
"These hinges are gritty... "
She looked to the inside and saw that some of the grooming tools were dusty, and others were dustier. Kora stood facing the cubboard, but only shifted her eyes towards Kafele and lifted her brow.
"Looks like its been a while since you've had a grooming... And an ever longer while since you've had a FULL grooming. No wonder you keep biting people. I'd be grumpy too!"
She picked away at the dusty old cobwebs that dangled over the giant dragon-sized nail file. The dimples were bigger and rougher then any she'd ever seen before. She could only wonder how strong a Dragon's claw could really be.
Kora turned her chin to her shoulder, so Kafele could hear her better
"So, you would you like me to do your nails?" she grinned.

She willingly went where he wanted her and felt that familiar warmth spread through her again but not passions' fire. This was a gentle warmth, the sort she felt when Zykariel grinned at her over a glass of milk, with a white mustache on his face and a gooey chocolate chip cookie fresh out of the oven in his hand. It was the same feeling she got when she was out with the horses or laughing and joking with Piper. He could invoke both of them in her depending on his gestures towards her. "Just make sure we can unlock any doors you do lock without too much trouble. And that he knows where each of us is at. He gets upset when he can't find you around and I assume that will apply to me now as well." She quieted for a moment and then said, "Or we could just ignore him when he opens a door without knocking. Explain to him that's what we're going to do and then we'll just close the door to whatever room we are in. He'll catch on quick enough, he's a smart boy."
Zykariel nodded, "Daddy says something like that. I need to reach my full potential or something, I don't know." His attention moved to Arthur and he shook his head. "and Malikhai studied this morning so it's the same thing." He glanced at the bag of ice and chose to keep his mouth closed but he could just see it leaking onto the floor.
He watched as Arthur picked up that ice and turned it into water before it became an orb. "How come you have to closer your eyes? Daddy says if you can't do magic with your eyes open you could easily get hurt. You have to be quick and you gotta be alert the whole time or another mage might sneak up and do something mean to you." He tilted his head. "My teacher can do that too. But he makes pets out of them. Can you do that?"

"They'd be low level runic locks, even you can handle those. And I'll leave him notes and such. Point is he has to learn that he can't just barge into a room without knowing what's on the otherside. It can be embarrassing but dangerous as well for him." Though he merely sat there with her, she seemed comfortable but more or less a little like she was just existing there with him. Perhaps this little session was over...he didn't know he couldn't read her at all sometimes, but he didn't want to puch his luck. Another little cough from him, not nearly as bad as the others and he sunk down a little in the bed to a more comfortable reclining position. Not worn out, but nicely sated...and he'd never really understand that feeling.
He watched as Arthur tried to contradict him. "I did my studies today, did you do any of yours?" A skeptical look, seeing as it seemed he had been doing other things like walking into tables before he had started studyign now when Malikhai had already finished one subject, no make that two for the day. Magic lessons counted. But he turned his attention back as Arthur took about trying to entertain them.
Malikhai blinked and poked at the little water orb. That was it? Was that supposed to be impressive? He really didn't think so...it was just a water orb that sat there and did nothing particularly fascinating for the little elf. Another poke at it. "My daddy can make flowers grow for mommy." One particular instance he remembered quite fondly. Mommy had been so happy.

Arthur looked ay little Z and smiled a little bit. "I only closed my eyes this one time to do it, I know how to use my magic with my eye open so this one time wouldn't hurt me. But no I don't know how to create creatures out of water, though maybe someday I would like to learn." A small chuckle to that before he looked at Malikhai. "Yes I did my training, what I was reading before you were dropped off here was extra that I have to do." Though he looked down at the orb as the boy poked it and he made a 'tisk' noise before reaching over to grab more cubes and dumping them onto the orb, which made it grow until it was fairly large. "Well I can create plants too, I know how to move the earth and create some plants." Though he opened his other hand and set it besdie the one that held the water orb, then after foucsing for a little while the large water orb pilt into two, then three, then four, until there was eight of them, each of the same sides. Then with a little more foucs he connected them with tubs of water which was acutally flowing from one orb to the next. "Well it cant be that impressive but..." Now he had to close his eye for this one, and in a moment all the water orbs gathered together into what seemed to be a sphere to which every orb was connected on all four sides. "You can touch it if you want, just don't break the orbs or I may lose it."

"Yes I can, without getting a nosebleed too." Zahara was almost afraid to move for fear that he'd pull his arm away and mention things about getting up and ask for his tunic back. She really didn't want to give that up. But as he shifted so did she, snuggling closer to his side and resting her head moreso on his chest, her hand resting lightly just above his tummy. "When did you want to go home?" Ah home, it felt good calling it such.
"And I helped Malikhai so I did math too. And magic this morning." He shifted slightly on the bed and watched that orb. "I want to see you make plants." He wasn't impressed either though when Malikhai mentioned what his daddy could do, Zykariel felt the need to pipe up as well. "My Daddy fixes my Mommy's plates for her when they get broken." Mommy liked her plates. He watched as Arthur did some other things and shook his head, poking at the orbs. "You shouldn't let them get broken. That's part of control."

He was so very tempted to poke in a place that he had been told not to. After all, that would be funny to see wouldn't it? But he figured that it would be bad because then water would be everywhere and he didn't think that mommy would appreciate him being wet all over again. So he kept them to himself. "I mean when they're dead. He got mommy roses once, but they went brown really quick...he made them red again." A tilt of his head at the water, still not too enthused.
Though a look at his friend. "My daddy can talk inside of people's heads." Of course this kind of trick would be fascinating and what not wasn't it? Very much so. After all, he didn't even have to be in the room with you and he could tell you something!
Sevilin let his fingers play lightly along her side, even letting them work under the edge of the tunic she was wearing and let them trail along her skin some. This was nice, but he was being careful not to overstep any cognitive boundaries not that the stormy passion they shared ebbed. "That's up to you...you're the one playing healer and making everyone take bedrest Sweetheart."

"Everybody can do different things, your father Zykariel can do runes which help fix the plate, I can't. And your father Malikhai can do necromancy which brings the plant back to life which I wont do." That's the only thing Arthur never wanted to learn was necromancy, he hated it and didn't like most of the magic that can be used. Though he smiled a little bit and looked at both drow. "Can one of you get me a towel from the washroom? I want to put this down." He said and waited for one of them to do it, laying it out in front of him. "As for me I just like using the normal elements, for me to create a flower I need to be outside or in the arena and I can only force it to make it grow, I can't control it's life really. I can move the air and control fire. As for water..." A small smirk as he focused a little more and suddenly all the orbs started to freeze until they were solid ice, and since they were ice once again he couldn't hold it so it dropped onto his hands for a bit then onto the towel in front of him. "Man that's cold..." he muttered and suddenly his hands were on fire, well it wasn't burning he was just warming up his hands. "I like controlling the elements, it's fun and can be pretty useful, though it's Sevilin who was teaching me how to control it, I just need to start my training with him again and practice some more." A small shrug to that before he shook his hands and the fire went out, and his hands weren't even burned.
