Zykariel toddled out of the bathroom and into the nursery grabbing another pair of clothes from the stash he kept here. It was nice being able to wear his own clothes at his friend's house. He chose to wear green this time like Daddy since his orange was now dirty. He would wear his mother's colors but she wore girly colors and he wouldn't be caught dead in purple or yellow. The orange was as close as he was getting.
He pulled on a fresh pair of socks but his boots were a mess so he kicked those back off and left them for Nym if he wanted them. His tummy grumbled once and he grinned as Malikhai came in then headed out. He hadn't seen his parents in a while and he was hungry. Thus over to Daddy's door, not bothering to knock , just turning the knob and heading in. "Daddy?! Where's Mommy?"

Sevilin and Zahara were quite comfortable, side by side in bed together, Sevilin casually having an arm around her. He was all nice and mellow at the moment nad it was a nice feeling. Then again he was feeling all defense stripped and vulnerable right now too so he was enjoying the comfort she was producing. Every one and a while, a brush of hands or lips over her skin in ramdom gesture.
Though boy did the alarms go off at the turn on a doorknob and a familiar little voice. He had to remember to lock that thing...then again the child knew better than to knock. Sitting up rather abrubtly and disturbing thier nice little resting position they had going he grabbed for sheets to make sure everything was covered that need be. No need to early educate the child on the more carnal pleasures of things. Besides, the child had delveloped that 'girl's are icky in certain ways' streak. "Um, she's right here Zykariel...need her for something?"
Malikhai got himself dress, only to return to his mother who dried his hair and put it back in order for him, getting a dry bandana out and clipping it back into place. As she stood she took his hand. "Where we going now?"
Since Zykariel toddled off with obvious intentions to find his parents, she had to do something with her own child. Oh how she missed Keely some days right now. Her babysitter was more or less on vacation. And she really didn't want to bother Isle or Kieran, and Malik had that feeling of deep thinking about him and children weren't good for that. Aha, she knew. "You're going to spend some time with Arthur so mommy can go get her own bath." Grabbing Malikhai's writing book, she led the child to Arthur's room, knocking on the door and giving a look to the serf who was standing outside for a moment. "Arthur, you're in there right?"

Well Arthur was reading up on Eilistraee when he heard someone at his door before the knock, gotta love his ears since he is able to pick up people's footsteps. So once he heard Piper's voice Arthur jumped up, thank the gods that the ice numbed most of the pain, and said. "Hang on!" Before he grabbed some black pants and slipped them on his body before he hobbled over to the door, even though he still felt some pain it stung and he didn't like that. So with a quick twist of the door knob and a quick pull the door was open and the male elf raise an eyebrow at the sight of Piper. "Hey...what's up with you? But more importantly you wanted me for something yes?"

Yes she was such a pretty sight all wet and disheveled look, holding a young child by the hands. "Calling in some of your debt Arthur. I need someone to watch Malikhai for me a bit. And well, you're avaliable and you owe me. I thought it a perfect combination." Holding out a book to him. "I'm sure he won't be too much trouble, just try to get him to study. Is that alright with you?"
Oh so he was being handed off to Arthur. Though he wrinkled his nose at the prospect of more studying. But hey he was sure he could manipulate Arthur enough to get out of it by some means. he was good like that.

Thankfully they had already finished though that quick scramble had been needed since the sheets had steadily been slipping further and further down with each random kiss and touch. She was delighted with the attention and giving noises out like candy until that little voice hit her. She raised two fingers and waved at her son as if to say 'here I am' then waited.
"No, I was just curious. I hadn't seen either of you for a little while and I got worried. You should leave notes if you're going to reverie in the middle of the day you know." He wandered more fully into the bedroom, completely oblivious to the fact that both of his parents were naked under the sheets and plopped on the bed.
"I need my hair braided again 'cause I took a bath. And Miss Piper said she'd tell you but I wanted to come tell you while my hair was still wet. See? So I don't need one tonight." Giving a look to both of his parents. "Right?"
Zahara held back a laugh, recovering from the awkwardness of having a small child in bed with them and made sure the sheets were securely tucked before she reached out and pulled him over to her. Leaning over Sevilin she grabbed the brush that was sitting on the table by the bed and then brushed and braided her son's hair, using the hair tie she had pulled out of Sevilin's hair earlier. "There you go."
"You two need to get up soon. You're awake and it's probably almost dinner time." He turned around and gave a crooked grin to both of them before giving both his parents a kiss. "How long have you been in here anyway?" Then he tilted his head. "Does this mean you don't need me to reverie with you anymore Daddy?" Because it wasn't Zykariel needed his father to reverie with him but his father who needed Zykariel, naturally.

Taking the book the elf looked at it for a moment before looking down at the tiny blue elf then back to Piper. "Well I don't mind looking after him, and if this is going towards my debt then fine that's alright, I'm studying a little myself so there will be nothing to worry about." A look down to the little elf again and he smiled. "Alright Malikhai come on in." He said with a smile and watched as the little half elf wandered inside before he looked at Piper. "How long will you be?"

Yeah this was a little awkward. The child just plopped on the bed to have his hair braided and was making points and such. "Alright, you've had a bath, you don't have to have another one today...that is of course unless you get filthy between now and bedtime. "Well...didn't really plan on taking a reverie in the middle of thay day...it just sort of happened."
Giving a light shrug, watching as Zahara took care of his hair. But Sevilin mad a noise of clearing is throat and then checked his internal clock. "Oh...not that long." Sure, a few hours, though the boy didn't really take care to keep track of that kind of thing. Though he had to roll his eyes at the child's question. "I don't know about that, some nights I still may need you." Saying it for the child's benifit.
"Oh good, it all works out then." Giving Malikhai a little push so that he would toddle into Arthur's room. "I'm not quite sure exactly...maybe an hour?" Giving herself a little extra time there. "Don't worry you'll do fine wiht him and if you need any help I'm sure a serf can do it...they know him well enough. Thanks Arthur." Thus turning on her boot heel and walking off.
He watched his mother leave and then walked further into the room, more or less just standing there in the middle of it for a moment, after all, he didn't know what space Arthur was occupying in that room. "Do I have to study?"

Arthur nodded tp Piper and smiled just a little bit, well an hour sounds good so he didn't have to worry about her taking forever really; he had was to pass the time. "Well alright then, I'll see you in about an hour." So when the elf left he closed the door and looked at little elf and smiled. "I'm sorry buddy, but since I'm studying, you got to as well your mother wants you to and I can't go against her." So he hobbled over to the bed and cleared off a good chunck of space for Malikhai so he can get on there as well. "Well come on, and here's your book." Placing what Piper had given him on the bed before reaching back for his own book; but before he even started to read again he grabbed the pouch of ice he had and placed it back between his legs, he was starting to feel the pain again so he had to keep it there for now.

It was very hard to hold in a laugh at some of the things Zykariel was saying. She let out a snort when he mentioned that it had just sort of happened, that was absolutely the truth, now wasn't it? Though she cleared her throat and got herself back under control. "You can take reverie with him anytime you want Kariel. Just let me know and I'll vacate the bed." If I'm there, she added mentally.
He frowned for a second, that wasn't fair. He'd had a bath, no more baths for him. But then he knew Daddy would never let him be all dirty when he went to bed at night so he nodded. "I don't think I'm going back outside today so I won't get dirty." Which meant no more baths and that made him a happy child. "You could just reverie with both of us." he said before moving onto another topic.
"Ooh! Daddy! Guess what I found out? Mr. Malik is like you 'cept he doesn't scrub his own floor 'cause he has people to do that for him. Maybe you should get people too." Then he remembered what his friend had said earlier. "What does status mean? And how come Malikhai's got one?"

He watched Arthur hobble back to the bed and then watched in curiosity as he placed a bag of ice between his legs. Toddling over to the bed he climbed up and plopped on it, opening his book and thumbing through pages a moment. Hm...how to get out of studying. "But I've been styduing all day...grandpa says one should take breaks, so can't I take a break?" Hey Arthur didn't know what he had been doing all day.
That curious look again and he pointed to the bag of ice. "How come you've got a bag of ice sitting on you like that?" Hey, he was a boy, he knew what was down there now didn't he?
"Alright then, it's a deal." Giving a nod at his son and ruffling his still slightly damp hair some. "Bed's big enough for all of us." A look to Zahara, as she stuck herself in that equation...which he didn't think was so bad really. Though he gave a grimace and a chuckle of some sorts. "We can't afford to get people to. And I like to clean anyway." Being relatively poor wasn't easy sometimes. Though the status question..."Well...status means you are given a certain position relative to the other people around you. Everyone has one."

Arthur smiled lightly at the little elf, when he was young he would come up with all sorts of things to get out of his own studying. "Ah but see I really don't know what you've been doing, your mother was wet when I just saw her so she could of been playing with you guys earlier, I may not know that but still it doesn't hurt to study a little more buddy so don't worry about it." A small smile to the little half drow before going back to his book again, Vhaeraun and Eilistraee sounded like really good gods to follow, though he still had the surface gods to read about. Though when Malikhai asked him why did he have the bag on ice on his groin he looked at the boy and chuckled. "I got hurt down there awhile ago, ice helps dull the pain so you don't feel it." A simple answer for a simple question, nothing big to worry about besides some day down the road little Malikhai here will find out exactly why he was doing this, though Arthur hoped it wouldn't actually happen to him.

"Oh." Well that was all he really wanted to know. He had one too and that was enough for him. Steel and money didn't mean a whole lot to him, after all he just buried treasure and then redug it back up. It was nice to find a piece of steel on the ground but he'd never really connected that Malikhai's family had more steel than his did.
He fixed his hair after Daddy messed it up because unlike when it was dry, being wet it would stay messed up and he didn't like that. "Okay. I'm going to go find Malikhai. Dont' fall back into reverie or you might miss dinner." Thus slipping off their bed and toddling out of the room, forgetting to close the door behind him. He heard Malikhai's voice coming down the hall and headed for the room, walking in and plopping next to his friend. He saw the books and saw no reason Khai should have to study again. "What are you doing in here Malikhia? You promised you'd help me clean the nursery before dinnertime." Then a glance at Arthur. "You're not supposed to hurt yourself there." Pointing to the bag of ice.
Zahara let out a breath when the child scampered off the bed and turned to look at Sevilin for a moment before she burst out laughing. A shake of her head and she reached over Sevilin again and picked up his tunic slipping it over her head before walking over and closing the door, then heading back to bed. "That was...interesting."

"Mommy was giving us a bath, we splash a lot." Zing, easily told lie. He was really really good at that. Though Arthur was being difficult in his opinion. Was it too much to ask to no have to study? Mommy only said it so he wouldn't cause trouble. But a tilt of his head at Arthur's explaination on the bag of ice. "How'd you get hurt there?" Of course he was curious even more now.
Though his attention wavered to his friend a little that had come in as well. "Mommy said Arthur had to watch me while she takes her own bath because everyone else is busy."
He gave a sigh and a curious look as she confiscated his tunic, pulling it on to make the trip to thr door before heading back to the bed again once more, still in his tunic. "Interesting indeed...though not really the first time we've been caught like this. He has excellent timing though on when he chooses to interrupt, don't you think?"

Arthur sighed a little bit as he looked at the elf in front of him, that must be a lie but he couldn't actually call on it. "Well you know what? Your mother says she'll be back in an hour so you study for now and when there is about fifteen minutes left you can relax until she comes, but you can't leave." If Malikhai doesn't tale that then he'll keep the boy studying until his mother comes back to get him. Though when Zykariel came in he sighed a little bit when the little elf pointed out the ice pack. "I know that." He said and smiled a little bit before looking at the blue elf. "I accidently walked into a table edge when I was walking in the dinning hall by mistake." Well that's a good little lie, should get him off the hook for now, he jsut hoped that Zahara and Sevilin could keep himself quiet.

Zykariel looked at him funny for a moment and then shrugged. "You should definitely watch where you're going. Gotta be careful about hitting things like that." He wasn't sure he understood the ice. When he fell down and hurt himself he didn't use ice. Then he grinned, "You should go see my Mommy. She could heal you and then you won't need ice anymore." How in the world was Arthur going to pee with it all cold and icy?
His tunic drowned her, came to the middle of her thighs, just abover her knees and halfway down her arms but it was comforting wearing it. Felt like she was wrapped in his arms again and it smelled like him which was nice as well. Now she knew why Piper randomly stole one of Malik's though she didn't think Sevilin would allow her to do the same. She resettled herself at his side and nodded. "At least he didn't come in a half hour ago. Then it might have really been awkward." And a child didn't need to see such things.
