No. Just me and our elder, Olsen. She wasn't trying to use that as the way to break it to the people... she just needed me to fall for it so I'd agree to tell them the truth...
A couple days after we announced to Terra that she and I were appearing in the Brink, she told me it was a lie.

They cheared, some people cried, some people thought the war could finally be over... the city didn't sleep for 3 whole days. I still can't get them off my back.

No, I wasn't kidding. If they knew the kind of things that go on in here... you and Kara... and who ever else... me and :::But he let that one trail off:::
Or that Cora's still here or the Seraphim... there'd be pandemonium. They might lose it. And the one time I think it's a good idea to lie to them Kara suddenly wants to be honest.

Yeah well...
:::Kal didn't have much to say about that. He wanted to believe as much as Luke did that what Kara accomplished was for her own glory, and that she was totally wrong about it all. But Kal understood her point. It was a good one. He just wasn't ready to accept it yet:::

He got up to go to the bar, and got another one. Still wondering how in the world Luke could put one down that way. He was still nursing his own beer and didn't intend to finish it. He came back with it, and handed it to Luke:::
After a moment of really loud silence, he said:::
I gotta get Cora out of here.
