Description: By forming an additional two hand signs when activating the Dead Soul Technique, the user may activate the enzymes, viral diseases and bacteria dormant within the corpse that make the effects of this technique possible. The additional chakra allows the saliva and blood of the undead to become toxic to contact with other blood, spreading the disease. The most common method of transference is biting, sometimes the consumption or spattering of blood into an open wound is enough to spread the virus. The following post after the occurrence of such contact, the target will begin to feel the following effects after the designated number of posts. Those who are healed prior to total infection will not suffer the zombification but will still carry the virus dormant, spreading it to others via saliva or blood-borne methods.

To break from the grip of the binding method, one must have a body rank higher than the chakra level utilized in the technique or a moderate descriptive rank above the level of the technique.

Description: Takumi creates several hand signs, holding the tiger seal as ice begins to explode from his feet, covering an area of thirty feet around him in random ice formations as well as blanketing the earth with ice. While this field is active, any corpses utilized during the "Dead Soul" Technique may be summoned through the ice, breaking through to attack opponents and burrowing their way back through the ice as it repairs itself, making it impossible to trace where the corpse has gone as the ice is black in color. The ability to repair the ice remains active for four posts, leaving the ice once its duration has ended. After the initial four posts, the ice remains active but ceases to repair itself, making it impossible to conceal the undead's location after immersion.

But any damage dealt this way will be immediately removed and "healed" at the end of the genjutsu. If the phantasm would otherwise be killed by a technique, then it's linked target will drop unconscious for [1] post. Only one fragment may exist at a time.

Description: The metal version of the petrication jutsu. Allows the user to flow petrifying chakra through any Koton/Black steel substance Unlike the user however, this metal will not stop at the just the skin, taking over bones, muscles, and veins and is as heavy as black steel itself. It will slowly force all movement to come to a halt until the target is completely petrified. Total petrification occurs over the length of [6] posts, the first post will infect the touched limb and lock up any movement. The second post will infect the main body. The third post will infect all limbs other than the head. The fifth post will infect the head, leaving them entirely immobile. The sixth post will kill the target. Requires A Ranked Eiseijutsu to heal from. Alternatively, if chakra is supplied to the target from the user themselves then the enemy will remain in their immobile state for as long as contact is held.

Edit: I realize that I should clarify what exactly [1] full post means. If I used it at the beginning of my post in combat. Then the landscape would not be metal until the end of my second post because the technique was not activate at the start (I had to spend time to cast it.) So [1] full post would mean something like at the end of the next post.

Using the sample principle as [ Sawarabi no Mai ], Taketori can cause rapid and uncontrollable bone growth from any of his bones he infuses with chakra. This causes spikes to propagate from the bones proportional to the amount of chakra spent (the more chakra spent the bigger the spikes). The second part causes the spikes on the bone growth to forcefully propel themselves outward, potentially catching opponents off guard. There is a five-post window where the spikes can be launched after casting this ability.

As a result, he cannot control or even manifest any bones more than one meter away from his body. Any bone that does leave that area becomes powderized and returns to Taketori instantly, limiting the effectiveness of some other techniques. When used with his level two cursed seal form, this limitation does not apply.

When using [ Dance of the Bulwark Oak ], Taketori's mass doubles, moderately increasing his fortitude while mildly reducing his speed. Taketori must pay its B-rank maintenance cost every 3 posts after activation. When using viable bloodline abilities, such as [ Dance of the Larch ] or [ Dance of the Willow ], with [ Dance of the Bulwark ] active, they can be korabo'd to become B-rank in terms of power if they previously were not, at the cost of casting them at B-rank and using an extra supplementary activation.

Oni Potency: Rinka's clan has a particularly rich and potent Saketon chakra. So rich in fact, that mere contact with the alcohol created via their jutsu is enough to send even the heaviest of drinkers into an almost instant inebriation. This powerful addition to their chakra comes at a steep cost, however. It is a very common occurrence that members of her tribe are unable to harness the 5 base elemental chakras, with only very rare cases of members being able to even use a single element that isn't their own Saketon. This is a passive jutsu that gives the following effect to all of Rinka's Saketon techniques: "Any individual hit by this technique receives a minus one [-1] DR to their reflex stat. This change lasts until the afflicted individual has slept off the alcohol [one [1] hour of rest]. The afflicted individual may also have all instances of Oni Potency removed by being healed once with the Jokyo Dokubutsu [ Poison Removal ] medical jutsu. Additionally, this jutsu treats Katon as an elemental weakness." This minus increases by an additional minus one [-1] at each rank Rinka trains in Oni Potency [minus two [-2] at C-rank, minus three [-3] at B rank, ect] all the way up to minus six [-6] at S-rank. The next level of negative modifiers must be trained in according the the appropriate rank found in the custom jutsu rules and may only be trained in once Rinka has reached a Body Rank equal to or higher than the rank of Oni Potency. This ability comes at a steep cost, however. Rinka is unable to learn any elemental ninjutsu or any taijutsu or bukijutsu that has an elemental component. She also receives a permanent minus three [-3] to her own Reflexes, to reflect her own, seemingly perpetual, drunken haze. Additionally, other members of the Oni clans are completely immune to this effect due to their own Saketon affinity. Further more, all of her Saketon Jutsu's costs increase by 5 chakra.

Description: Kenshin applies chakra into either his fist or his blade. This chakra causes a violent vibration with a particular frequency used to shatter bones, armor, and weapons upon contact. The vibration tampers with the metal in armor causing the armor itself to vibrate until it breaks which allows this attack to gain one rank ineffectiveness against the armor, this also applies to weapons.

This technique requires the use of Kenshin's custom weapon, Purity, for it to be utilized as a bukijutsu technique. If the custom weapon is not used then it is a taijutsu technique.

Infinity Marks: Pending. Chakra can from this moment on only be sealed if it's being used for a particular technique. This is subject to change, but for the moment the idea of just having free chakra lying about is unapprovable.

Semipermeable Defense: Denied. An E-ranked technique cost five chakra or stamina. Why should it be powerful enough to negate 25% of the damage you take? What does 25% even mean in a roleplay? If you get stabbed with a knife, does the dagger go in 25% less effective? A fireball burns 25% less of your body? This whole percentage business irks me because it also does nothing with the ninjutsu systems and tai / bukijutsu systems we have in place. I would seriously suggest making your technique focus on one of those two systems.

Sin Mode: Pending. In accordance to the new rules, a custom technique can only at max boost any stat up to your current body rank, (slight for D-ranked, and so forth). You are allowed still to min-max, however, so if you want to drop one rank moderately while increasing another by a supreme, then there's room to discuss that. I don't truly know how that'll get approved, but it's not an automatic denial.

Ninjutsu: Pending. Just make sure it clearly states that the technique only affects the sense of sight and hearing. It cannot do any damage to the opponent.

Kondo Kaicho


Anthropohagis Sanguinus: Pending. First of all this needs a duration separate from the dead soul technique. Second of all the zombification cannot be uncurable. I recommend making the duration of the infection shorter than the duration of the zombification, and then making it more like a hazard system where the more bites you get the quicker the zombifying occurs, as well as renews the duration.

Corpse Binding Method: Denied. I'm sorry but the Kaguya clan, for whatever reason, already has a technique similar in function to what you're trying to do. Therefore, in accordance to the new rules where customs cannot have the abilities of a bloodline without being part of said bloodline, I cannot approve of this. Maybe try something with ice zombies instead?

Arctic Deathscape: Pending. The ice needs a duration. I know you have a limit for how long you can keep it up with the ice still regenerating, but you also need to specify how long the ice last on its on. I would recommend six post since the repairing effect last for four.

Evanescently Magnificent


Betraying Thought: Denied. You can't use a genjutsu and a korabo to make an improvised sharingan. Also new rules state that techniques cannot be made which mimic already existing bloodlines unless you're part of said bloodline.

Enveloping Darkness: Pending. Just need a duration. I recommend eight post since that's the most we'll be allowing B-ranked jutsu for duration.

Last Word: Pending. This technique frustrates me because I really like the idea you're going for. Logically though, I'm torn as to whether or not this is a genjutsu or not. Because if this technique only prohibits the opponent from using a jutsu of chakra base, then it's more akin to the temporary body paralysis since there's no real illusion being cast. Make an illusion to be used in conjunction with the technique and then we'll be in business. Also give the opponent a time limit for this technique. I don't like how, in conjunction with the opponent being hindered with being unable to use a technique, you also get that double duration perk for your next genjutsu, so please remove it.

Fragment of Suffering: Approved.

Fragment of Fear: Approved.

Assimilation: Pending. Needs a duration.

Midas Touch: Pending. Tortured Sleep had something similar denied because it didn't comply with the frost hazards of the ice clan. While I respect that there are no hazards for this clan, if you want to go about this manner than I suggest writing a design up for them. Otherwise the max I can allow is one limb per contact, and that there needs to be a duration on how long the limb stays metalized.

Imperium: Denied. Too many abilities at the same time. I have no problem with you turning the whole land into metal and shifting through it like a shark. I don't even have a problem with you doing so and affecting everyone touching the ground with your midas touch. But you need to do so with multiple techniques. So if this technique does both turn the ground into metal and then shark around it, then you need to use midas touch as a secondary technique and a second activation.

Dance of the Sandbur: Pending. Need to give a duration of how long the spikes can last just coating your body before they fly off.

Dance of the Bulwark Oak: Pending: This sounds like a korabo technique, where the user combines dance of the clemantis with this technique. Make sure it specifies that both must be cast at the same time, and that you need your korabo with yourself at least up to B-ranked. Otherwise I think it's alright.

Oni Potency: Pending. This technique does not work in conjunction to how passive jutsu will work. For your technique to work as it does, it must be a supplementary technique used in conjunction with your oni techniques.

Vibrating Gentle Fist: Pending. Needs a duration first of all. Second of all, what does, "...which allows this attack to gain one rank ineffectiveness against the armor..." mean? Is this technique more effective against armor or less?

Eight Trigrams: Heavenly Push: Pending. You can't lock tenketsu points without hitting them directly. That's why rotation doesn't do that. Also given the wide range of this hit, I don't feel comfortable with it also being able to shatter bones.

Eight Trigrams: Tornado Palm: Pending. Does this technique require the user to hit the opponent with the palm or sword in order to use it? Or can they stand fifty feet away and just force push them into a tornado?

Eight Trigrams: Divine Justice: Approved.

Sun Child: Pending. We're going to get that fire alteration style soon which does this. A current rule being debated on is whether or not we're going to allow customs to do something of a style if they are not part of that style. Once it is decided, you will get either an approval or denial.

As a personal note, thank you everyone for being so patient. I know that it's frustrating when you want to enjoy the guild to the maximum potential but that there is delay in the action of approvals. Description: Takumi creates several hand signs, holding the tiger seal as ice begins to explode from his feet, covering an area of thirty feet around him in random ice formations as well as blanketing the earth with ice. While this field is active, any corpses utilized during the "Dead Soul" Technique may be summoned through the ice, passing through it without breaking it to attack opponents and returning back through the ice as it repairs itself, making it impossible to trace where the corpse has gone as the ice is black in color. The ability to repair the ice remains active for four posts, leaving the ice once its duration has ended. After the initial four posts, the ice remains active but ceases to repair itself, making it impossible to conceal the undead's location after immersion. On its own, this technique endures for six posts.

Description: This technique only effects targets who are dead or suffer from necrotic flesh via another technique. The user forms five hand signs, targeting necrotic flesh. This technique gives the user the ability to heal wounds on the undead, repairing them to continue the fight. Additionally, when this technique is applied to a partial necrotic body, it regenerates its cellular structure, reforming the rest of what should be attached to it. If that target was not the main body, in order to control said regenerated body it needs to have the Dead Soul technique applied to it separately.

Description: For the duration of five posts, this technique allows the user to mentally link with all the corpses in the area. Doing so gives them the ability to see what is within the corpse's range of sight as well as gives them access to any memories of the corpses in question to include techniques. The user may command the corpse to use techniques they knew in life at the cost of the user's own chakra. The user may learn one technique from a corpse as long as it is within the parameters of their own abilities.

Last Word - Well the illusion is supposed to operates on a similar level to Shiin's Kanashibari Music [ Unnamed ]. Since this jutsu is is based on the original means of casting a genjutsu on someone (i.e. infecting them with your chakra.) My chakra would react to the opponents chakra being formed into a jutsu and create a temporary disruptive/paralysis effect on their chakra network for like a fraction of a second. Only long enough to stop something from being cast but not continuing because I'm not feeding it chakra through a median like the flute in the music genjutsu. I thought about making it a Maruton but at the time it just seemed like it would fit genjutsu better since I'm infecting someone with chakra, which is genjutsu's whole basis. As well as affecting someone's brain.

With respect if I can't have the increased duration then I would like to remove the (Chakra/Stamina is not lost, only the time it took to preform the technique.) Stipulation, or have the ability to control which jutsu it interrupts. Since otherwise I paid an A ranked amount of chakra to remove a single activation from the opponent for a single post. Which is kinda lack luster in this guild where we get three of them.

Imperium - I should explain because I don't think I made it clear when I wrote the jutsu what my intentions were with it. Being able to swim/shift around the landscape is what assimilation does. What I mean by shift here is essentially metal bending the environment. I get what you're saying with the limits of one jutsu so how about this? I remove the Midas touch effect from Imperium and change the wording of Midas touch to be this. "Allows the user to flow petrifying chakra through any Koton/Black steel substance." This way it allows me to do the same thing but is broken up into two different S and A ranked jutsu.

Midas Touch - So the whole thing with this is I actually had it a lot similar to what you want, but then I came across a jutsu already in your lists that just kinda.. dwarfed it.

Official Description: Sekka no Ichigeki is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by wandering Shinobi Ishidate. Using his petrifaction gauntlet, Ishidate can touch his target and activate the process. First the eye on the gauntlet will open, then a latice of chemicals will flow through the target. The gauntlet turns the matter into a rigid or stone-like substance. This stone form can be returned to normal if treated in time with Ninjutsu healing. If the body remains in this stone form for too long though, it will become permanently damaged. The petrifaction gauntlet can also be used to manipulate other stone. Ishidate can grab chunks of stone and then strike them with the gauntlet. While in the air the stone will then split into numerous sharp daggers.
Guild Description: See official description. Requires any Eiseijutsu to heal from. The first post will infect the touched limb. The second post will infect the main body. The third post will infect all limbs other than the head. The fifth post will infect the head, leaving them immobile. The sixth post from the target will kill them. Gauntlet not required.

So I made edits to it's strength because I obviously didn't want my custom, especially a bloodline custom, to be weaker than something that was already in the guild. If I made the edits to Midas Touch be that it can be transferred to someone through any black steel and create a hazard that follows the [6] post infection rate of Petrifaction Blow would that be alright? The duration would be forever since I'm turning them to metal and killing them with it. Just like Petrifaction Blow is turning them to stone and killing them with it. I can remove the A ranked Eiseijutsu jutsu requirement and have it be any Eiseijutsu. So that way it mimics the limitations of Petrifaction Blow though?

So what would be the best way to go about this? Do i drop the -3 to reflexes and +5 to cost and tale out the part where it ranks up with body ranks? My intentions were to originally make this a PA, but was told itd be better as a passive jutsu. Its supposed to be in her blood, not a jutsu she learned... idk is there a way to make it a passive, or will I have to make it an augment style technique?

Oni Potency: Make it a supplementary technique. "While this jutsu is active, when the opponent is hit with a sake technique their reflex stat drops in equal rank to the amount of chakra provided." So like, if you use oni potency at C-ranked, then you can drop your opponent's reflex when their hit by a moderate amount per hit. Then give it a time limit which scales with the rank you use it at, and you should be fine.

Last Word: Pending. This is why I said this technique frustrates me. Yes genjutsu disrupts the chakra network. But it does so with the consequence that the target feels some illusion. So let's compromise. I can allow you to take out the stipulation that their chakra is not used, or I can make it so that you can make this genjutsu to make the person feel as though they were hit with the force of the attack that they were going to use on you. This would have to make it unable to be used with genjutsu since that would basically then just be the genjutsu reverse, but I think you could have use in a technique which makes a ninjutsu ninja feel as though they're being hit with their own attack. If you don't want to go that angle and want to make them pay the cost, then just say that the illusion riffles them with a temporary surge of pain which denies them the ability to use the technique. This then would still work with countering a genjutsu cast.

Midas Touch: Approved but on a trial run. When you use this ability in a fight, you are to quote me and then I can see if it's something which should be in the guild. Make no mistake, however, if I deem it too powerful, then I will also take out that other technique from the guild. I won't give you the half baked version of a technique which already exist.

Anthropohagis Sanguinus: Pending. Why do I have to repeat myself? You gave the technique a duration, which is appreciative. But you still did not specify that this technique is not permanent. That once you get twelve dosages of zombie bites that you don't remain a zombie forever. This has to be something which cures itself over time. Like, if you keep biting them and keep making them stay a zombie that's one thing. But it needs to have a clear duration. Also people are not going to carry this virus for the rest of their roleplaying lives.

The other three, however, approved. Zetsumei would be so proud.
