Amber eyes closed, Naoko forced his body to try and relax. It wasn't that he didn't trust what Ryu was doing... it was just his muscles were really tense.
Making it hard to just take it easy.
"Dame... that tickles..." the blond whispered with a half smile, trying not to move, though this seemed to only make his muscles a bit more tense.
But then Ryu gasped, and half turning, Naoko's worried amber gaze focused on his akuma. After the other man had sipped the coffee, Oumori reached out and took the cup.
"It's cold..." he whispered, shaking his head. "We should warm them up first. My back will be here when you return. Yakusoku."

"Iie...don't worry about the coffee..." Ryu protested. Suddenly, he just wasn't in the mood for anything, food or beverage wise. "Listen, hon...I'm really sorry..." he put his head in his hands, rubbing his temples as though he had a sudden headache, "I'm just...really out of sorts today, I guess. Neither of us got enough sleep last night...and...things have been so hectic..." The excuses went on and on. Ryuukaze didn't want to blame Naoko for his sudden failure to function, but there really was no other reason. Still, he wasn't going to look at the blond and say something ridiculous like, "Look what you've done to me!", but deep down, he really was still a nervous wreck. Then...in the back of his mind...he recalled Hayato...something in those eyes that stared at the two of them when they were in the hospital room...it was no wonder Naoko was completely wrecked. "Perhaps...perhaps I should talk to a psychiatrist as well, when I set up your appointment..." he smiled, trying to be as pleasant about it as he could. ~( I’m here )~ Soba ni iru wa~

Naoko however, smiled at this. "I'd like that. I mean, if you were talking to a shrink too. Then I wouldn't feel like I was the only crazy person around here." the blond's smile was genuine.
Sitting up as much as was possible with Ryu laying on him, the pianist reached out and took one of his akuma's hands in his own.
"I'm not going to make excuses for what happened. I mean, it's all fuzzy... I cold blame it on the alcohol or on the sex itself but... well..." NAKO shrugged his shoulders slightly. "I'm ******** up. Well, my mind that is. I'm not right in the head and I know that... everyone's told me that lately... especially Sai, but... well... what I'm trying to say is that there's nothing you should be sorry for, Ryu-kun. I should be groveling on my knees in apology..."

"No, baby, no..." Ryu immediately protested. "You really need to stop blaming yourself so much, Na-kun. All that guilt...it's just no good. I mean, honestly, at first I didn't believe you when you told me you didn't know what happened or why you said that...but...that was my own fear and insecurity talking. I believe you, as much as I can, ok? Though I admit, part of me still questions everything...But the fact remains...WE are BOTH very messed up people, and we both need help, right? So, if we're going to be together, if we're in this for the long haul...then we both need help, not just one or the other, yes? What we do...we will do as a team." Ryu took Naoko's hands in his and kissed the tops of both. "I'm gonna be here for you, babe. I promised, did I not? I can't go back on a promise...to do that would make me no better than that pigsy ********, Hayato." With that, Ryuukaze popped a kiss to the side of NAKO's forehead and hopped up from the bed, walking toward the closet. "We should just get dressed, ne? Fixing a second cup, Nakai put both his own and Hiroki's on a tray, then set some cream and sugar on the tray as well. In a few minutes, he had the tray on a coffee table.
"Douzo." Kai spoke with a half yawn, reaching for his own cup and then curling into a plush blue chair.
He had curled his legs under him, leaning to one side, arms and coffee cup on an arm rest as he fixed his gaze on his... well technically, his boss.
"So, what's up? It's early... well for me... especially after last night. What's so important that you couldn't just phone me?" the blond asked, sipping his coffee.
Then... Hiroki explained everything.
For a long time, Nakai didn't say anything... though it was clear from the change in his eyes that this news wasn't sitting well.
He had the same reaction as Narcissus however.
Sheer rage and anger.
However, unlike Akihiko... Kai could control his own temper.
"Who did it?" the blond asked, sipping his coffee and trying to dismiss the urge to throw the mug into the wall. "Izzy Lucky's the nicest man I ******** know! Surely there's some reason why this happened? Unpaid debts he didn't tell me about? Got drunk and pissed someone off? Something!"

Quickly, Akihiko slipped in through the back door, wincing just slightly at the ungodly roar of the crowd.
How he missed that...
But soon... soon Narcissus would hear his fans going crazy for him again.
It was just a matter of time.
But being hurried along by Yamada was... well... a bit awkward. It wasn't that the young Koyasu hadn't been hurried before, it happened frequently during costume changes at his concerts, but it was the first time he'd been hurried into someone else's dressing room.
Watching Shou enter was... well... amusing.
Smirking to himself, arms folded over his chest, the musician watched as his fellow vocalist was demanding water and looking in the mirror.
"I'm hardly a look alike, and definitely not a stand up, Shou-san." Akihiko spoke up, stepping forward. "Hajimemashite. Narcissus desu. Douzo yoroshiku." he spoke cooly, extending a hand to Shou. "I was hoping, after your rally, you and I could have a chat about something I've cooked up for the Charity concert. As well as a deal that's in the works between SMASH and Ohayou."
He wasn't going to go into detail until the man wasn't pressed for time. After all, making Shou dwell on these things while he performed or... whatever it was he was doing out there, would only be a hindrance.

"But if it's my fault, I should at least apologize..." Naoko whispered as Ryu headed toward the closet. "I'm to blame for what I said, damn it! Sure, there were other factors in there, but the words came from my lips!" standing, he grabbed the towel and wrapped it around his waist.
"I'm not always blaming myself, Ryu-kun... I just... I just keep doing very STUPID things." the blond sighed as he walked over to the closet as well. "The world awaits... Shou awaits... god, it's going to be a long day, isn't it?"

Shou was surprised...very surprised. He had never in his wildest dreams expected to meet his 'rival'. "Ah Hajimemashite, Shou desu. Douzo youroshiku." he responded back although it wasn't like they didn't already know who each other was. He took Narcissus' hand with a firm grip and gave him the exact politeness returned. "Ah, really? A deal? Mm...Mm...sounds so intriguing! Oh I want to be filled in now...but...Lunch. We'll do Lunch! I love Indian food. Do you? I know this great restaurant."
He spoke a mile a minute because time was short for the man even as his make up artist ran in to touch up the work on his face and check his hair.
"Maybe you'll finish the show on time?" said Hamu-kun hoping that Narcissus presence would once for once make the man keep a schedule and finish a show on time rather than so much later.
His eyes sparkled with the chaotic mischief he was so well known for. "After the Rally? Oh seriously, Narcissus...You should join me out there. My fans are quite fun! And it is all for the benefit of the Charity. I'm giving out prizes to the Bees for the most done in the period of the last month in support of the Charity event. So you should at least help me reward the winner."
Then, he grinned, "Of course, after that...you'll have my full attention. I'm expected at SHOXX by....when was it 3:00?" He turned as he spoke while his eyes traveled to Hamu-kun. Of course, that time was a bit different from the schedule Matsumoto-san had offered. Or was that he just suddenly change his own meeting schedule?
"Right, 3:00...SHOXX" said Hamu-kun with a straight face, who turned on his heels and headed towards the door as he looked at his watch, "3 minutes. On this mark. Lions are coming off now...3 ring effects are up in 30 seconds." He touched an earpiece that was obviously connected to entire event network.
Shou grabbed the new red coat more stunning than the previous one and threw it on then un-cinched the bull whip. "This will be fun!"

I embrace the torn rose to my chest
And fall into the crimson sea... Ugh...headache... It figured that Hayato would have spent the night drinking and overslept, only to wake up with a hangover. It was his first hangover in...he couldn't even remember how long. Usually, the man was completely in control of himself...and everybody else, the way he viewed it. Headache or not, he dragged himself from the bed. Great, he was running late... Dressing himself rather quickly, he settled on a simple black button up and a pair of black designer jeans, pulling his hair into a tight ponytail similar to the one he had worn the night before. Hopping in his car, he drove directly to Shou's rally, skipping breakfast, even coffee, just to make sure he didn't miss it completely. If he were luck, Naoko and Ryuukaze would be there...and if that were the case, he had a good chance of getting ahold of his little blond b***h. Entering the affair, he watched the show, mingling around the back of the crowd. Luckily, nobody noticed him very much. Most of them had no idea who he was, being either too young or out of genre with their music preferences. Either way, today was a day he could do without the attention. Enough time had passed, and he hadn't seen Naoko. Most likely, he wouldn't be coming on stage, at this rate. Slipping out the side door, Hayato walked around to the back of the building, leaning casually against the brick wall. If he got lucky, and he nearly always did, he'd catch his little mouse as he left out the back way. Even if someone said he seemed suspicious, he was a star from SMASH, he had every right to be here...which made it the perfect opportunity. Patiently, Hayato lay in wait of his prey. Let the games begin. I continue dancing upon

He sipped on his coffee and actually was impressed by the rich flavor. If this were a different situation he might have commented on it but instead he added, "No...we don't think Izzy Lucky did anything to garner an enemy." He stifled the idea of laughing at the comment about Izzy drunk because frankly he couldn't imagine. But he remained serious about the matters at hand and gathered his thoughts about his next words.
"We don't know exactly who did it, but Narcissus suspects that this might have something to do with his refusal of a contract with Smash." he answered then continued quickly, "However, there is not proof of this so we cannot act hastily and act upon the thought until more information is uncovered. At the moment, we haven't asked Izzy Lucky any deeper questions because...well I am sure you can understand why."
"Ohayou is covering all medical, housing and other needs until he's on his feet again. Believe me, we will find out who committed this act and punish them to the fullest extent of the law." But he wondered at times what justice would be served and by whom. He had a feeling that if the truth were ever uncovered, Narcissus would become unhinged. Not that he already wasn't.
"If you want to visit him while he's in the hospital, here's his room." Hiroki handed Nakai a card with the information on it then took another heavy sip of coffee.

Izzy's eyes were caught up with the fanciful imaginative display on the screen. "It is, Chiyou-kun. Shou-san is quite a showman." he responded with a smile. "Your world? Mmm...Shou-san is a good one to watch if you're wanting to learn to make a statement in the music industry. But Narcissus...is also a good one to watch on stage." Izzy didn't add any thoughts about Narcissus' off stage habits but on stage, Narcissus had style.
Izzy coughed a little when Chiyou-kun's lips licked the fudge off his fingers because he couldn't laugh well. But then he felt his his knuckles kissed and was a little surprised trying to figure out what to say but instead the coughs started up again which caused a grimace upon his face from the discomfort.
Once his coughing quit, he glanced back up to the Rally and sighed, "It would have been fun to go to the Circus. Mm? They are going to give a Bee a prize for Charity work? How wonderful! How does he come up with all these ideas...mmm...Need to do something like this for...Nakai or Narcissus."
After talking for a bit, he became quiet as his throat started to feel really sore.

"Apologies aren't needed between us...but if you insist, then I apologize for getting so angry at you. When I came back in last night...I found you on the floor in the bathroom, sleeping naked on the tile. You were so cold, and it broke my heart. I'm sorry I did that to you..." Ryu spoke as he rifled through the closet. Absently, he stepped out of his sweatpants and left them on the floor, grabbing one item then another, unsure of what he should do with himself today. After much contemplation, he grabbed a long black skirt-like garment that was covered in belts, along with a tight shirt made of shiny black materials that had the same sort of belting around the arms and chest. Today...today would be gothic fashion for Ryu. He hadn't done that in quite a while, after all. He had the perfect pair of platform boots to go with it, too...though they made him a good five inches taller than Naoko. "You wanna talk about who does stupid stuff...at least you didn't try to throw yourself under a bus...or fall down a flight of stairs while trying to fight some a*****e..." the violinist chuckled as he dressed himself. "Long day, busy day...but it can be a good day if you let it." he smiled. "Now...pick out whatever you like and get that cute a** of yours covered. So many possibilities...but Chiyou was actually thinking of his own accord for once about his career and future style, really listening to what Izzy had to say about watching both Shou and Narcissus. Drawing from the best and modifying it with one's own creativity...it was a smart move, after all.
Izzy's coughing brought the boy out of his reverie, and his brow furrowed. Standing, he went to the small refrigerator and got a bottle of water out for the manager, opening it and setting it on the table for the man as he sat back down.
"Yeah...it would have been fun to go to that. I tell you what...I'll take you to a real circus, next time one comes through. I know it's not the same thing, but it would be fun, ne?" he smiled as he promised such an outing. Really, the idea of Izzy smiling and eating cotton candy made the young star's heart flutter. That would certainly be something to look forward to.
Of course, Chiyou noticed the manager's sudden silence, and observed the look of discomfort on the man's face.
"It hurts, doesn't it..." he reached up and ran his hands through those adorably messy locks of brown hair.
"I wish I could take the pain for you, Ruki..." biting his lip, he thought of ways he could make Izzy feel better...but nothing came to mind other than offering him ice cream or water.
Carefully, he picked all the fudge bits out of another large spoonful of the cold treat, offering Ishi the creamy chocolate if he wanted it.

Izzy took up the water from the table and slowly sipped it. "Mm...so cold..feels good." His eyes closed for just a moment until the sounds of the circus called him back.
"A real circus? I've never been to one...ok...as long as you get your work done." As always his manager side made sure that Chiyou-kun wasn't going slack off in between.
The idea of just hanging out at the circus with Chiyou-kun seemed like a fun idea. Much more fun than...laying here....feeling miserable and useless. He didn't want to think about why he was here. Nor think about what happened to him. Although a small portion niggled over the....Who did I anger so much? What did I do to deserve this? What's going to happen to me?
Several scary thoughts raced through his mind and he wanted to just curl up to cry but Chiyou was here and that wouldn't do. The boy was already so concerned about him and if he started crying, the Chiyou would bawl too. Chiyou already had enough problems to deal with...
So Izzy, nodded his head slowly biting back his coughing and tried to switch position feeling the tubes in other places move just a little. He felt more pain in different areas and he knew that the painkillers were wearing off.
Adjusting his head, he took the offered bite of ice cream then stared at the tv set hoping that Shou's fantasy could take his thoughts away for awhile longer.
"Nnnnh....Chiyou-kun...could you get me a nurse? The painkillers aren't helping." Izzy really didn't want to send Chiyou for a nurse but his body wasn't quite ready for his injuries. Or maybe his mind wasn't....

Chiyou couldn't help but chuckle.
"Of course I'll get my work done, silly. You don't have to worry about things like that. I've...I've grown up now, Ruki..."he said as though it was a sudden realization for him.
Indeed, it was true, though. The child star had grown up, and rather quickly...pushed along by Izzy Lucky back then...his love for the same manager now...and the unfortunate events that had recently taken place that called for him to be a man through and through, not a crying little child anymore.
The blond couldn't help but wonder if it was a good thing or a bad one....
He decided on good. At least he was capable now of being there for the one who mattered most.
"Yeah...I'll get the nurse. Just relax, you're gonna be fine."
Leaving the room, the boy walked down the hall to the nurses station, asking for Izzy's charge nurse and explaining to her that the manager was in need of more pain management. The nurse nodded, a compassionate and understanding look on her face...and a bit of sadness too. He wondered...just what had happened to Izzy Lucky that made even a seasoned nurse show that kind of pitying look. Sure, he had been beaten badly...but it seemed like...like there was something he didn't know yet.
Turning, he walked back to Izzy's room, quietly opening the door and stepping back in.
