For those of you who play Magic: The Gathering, I put together a fun deck idea. And I wanted to share it.

Psychic Surgery x4 $1.00 each
Surgical Extraction x4 $8.00 each
Lobotomyx4 $ $1.50 each
Memoricide x4 $3.00 each
Doom Blade x4 $0.25 each
Go for the Throat x4 $2.50 each
Eradicate x4 $1.00 each
Damnation x4 $25.00 each
Shimian Specter x4 $4.50 each
Haunting Echoes x4 $1.00 each
Mental Misstep x4 $4.00 each
Counterbore x4 $1.00 each
Darkslick Shores x4 $14.50 each
Drowned Catacomb x4 $4.00 each
Dimir Aqueduct x4 $0.50 each
Watery Grave x4 $31.00 each
Underground Sea x4 $60.00

68 cards, worth roughly $651.00

I'll probably never build this deck with the actual cards, but I think it would be fun to play.

hah! My most expensive card in my deck is probably 6 dollars or so. And nothing else is above 3.

Classic or new Sonic. I think I actually prefer new Sonic. Not the games, but the shape itself. Good lord Generations is gonna be great.

How come nobody told me Sonic Generations was out!?! Awwww. Now I won't have the time or money to finish it before Skyrim is released.

Oh, by the way, Generations is out. For a week now. And it kicks a**. There would have been this nice cushion of time to beat it if you per-ordered. Just enough time between it and Saint's Row three...

There's a deck I run a fifteen dollar card in. Emrakul, The Aoens Torn. I only run one. I only ever would run one.

Heh... YEAH.... I don't know how much my cards cost... they were all a big gift to me from a friend at work. Slivers rule. ANYway, yeah, I got the modern Sonic from that thingy, though it seems to be the only option. I clicked classic, just cause I figured then Andy and I could be opposites, but I still got modern. Oh well, I love both! Oh, also, I just want to let everyone know, I'm gonna be installing the thin line either tonight or tomorrow night. It needs to happen, I'm afraid. Also, K', I'd like to have one game running again by the end of the week, ok? If you have questions about how to run it, just lemme know.

Yes sir. Look for something late Thursday or friday afternoon. I'll make sure to get it up before Skyrim. Which means there's no excuse for not participating!

Oh my goodness. Emrakul is beautiful. Funny thing is, his flaw is my flaw as well.

My scry control deck is gorgeous. I only have one creature that's good for something. Well, 2 or 3 I guess. But my deck focuses heavily fortifying myself as I scry through my entire deck to find that prize card Stormtide Leviathan It tends to work, but it stands no chance against strong early game decks and swarm decks. Would you maybe have any tips to keep myself defended? I run a blue/white with plenty of counters and high defense creatures. My one issue is mana, my prize costs 8, and the others are 7 and 6. But I guess that's nothing compared to friggin' 15. How can you manage to play that? Maybe a sorcery or two that focus on bringing out extra mana? If you can help, it'd be really appreciated.

I don't play Emrakul. He's mill defense. If I get him in my hand, I discard him with Liliana Vess, Heightened Awareness, or Jace's Archivist.

But what I do to draw the game out until my big spells is global kills. Damnation, Extinction, Massacre Wurm, Reiver Demon, and stuff like that.

If you're playing type two, I might suggest Day of Judgement, Phyrexian Rebirth, and ... the new one from Innistraad with the name that escapes me. If not for type two, Wrath of God.

I think I've played Emrakul twice, and one time he got mind controlled and killed me.

This is a slow, multiplayer deck that I run him in.

It'll be sloppy at first, but the games/contests section is being remade. I've typed a rough intro (I'll probably tamper with it) for now so that I have no excuse to just quit. There's definitely ideas flowing and there'll be a game up some time tomorrow. Look forward to it.

Day of Judgement is amazing, and it saves my a**. I also use Elixir of Immortality as a save card in case I take a heavy blow. One card I may use is Time Reversal. The flaw is that sometimes the damage I take is to much to come back from. I have a single Safe Passage, but it still doesn't cut it.

I don't play a lot of one on one. Almost all of my decks are designed with playing against multiple people in mind, so I run less aggressive, more subtle strategies.

I agree on the Look-Alikes. But I may change or add a few little things to that contest. The Scavenger Hunts are Alex's baby, so I won't interfere with those. But there are multiple other games/contests planned. Don't worry.
