Oh, Tavin .. *Maggie reaches out and clasps his hand* Nay, Tavin, I know how hard ye must be trying. Ye didna ask for this any more than the rest of us did.

He is angry, *Maggie repeats, gently* He must be hurting, and frightened, too. We all are .. *She is. In so many ways, but she doesn't say so. Tavin is carrying too much as it is* But we are all in this tegether. We canna lose sight of that.... *she speaks to herself as much as to him*

I know ye won't, Tavin. *Maggie acknowledges, though she's caught off guard by how relieved she is to hear him say so. She squeezes his hand before releasing it, and looks back over to the flowers on the chair*
Some of us ... we'd wanted te do something for her. Bard was hoping te speak te ye about it ...
