One on each side of the glider, they descended into the dome room. It was difficult to control but they made it into the room without much hassle, though the landing was a bit bumpy. The room did not have any doors that lead back out, as far as she could see. It simply had a multitude of mirrors. "I don't like mirrors anymore."
One hadn was around her throat and one was around her mouth. Her staff had been left at the manor, and she'd taken off the rbacers some time ago to let her skin breath. Lovely.
Her tail swung back and forth, her eyes got greedy and wide. She dragged Aella by the throat deeper into the alley. "Far too long I've eaten the blood of lesser things. Disgusting..." She purred. "But a bit of elvin blood, that will be nice..." She ripped the skin on the girl's throat, letting her bleed.

Onyx was in the alleyway, having climbed the side of the building to get over and behind this..thing.
"I suggest you let her go...besides, I think you'd have a lot more fun with me."
and hopefully if nothing else, get it pinned between Aella and Onyx. they'd fought as a team before...hopefully this time would work as well as it did with the spiders.
Malik glanced at the druid.
"Interesting point. but I want him to get a confidence boost first. so perhaps letting him win a first round, and then taking him down on the second, would breed better a rivalry that could result in him taking training a bit more seriously. the showing that he can beat you, but not always beat you, might strive to make him try to be able to beat you everytime."
though a glance at Kieran.
"If you want, you could watch if you feel uneasy."

Fin looked at all the mirrors and sighed, "Maybe they'll come to us one at a time, trying to tire us out by continually fighting them like at a gladiatorial match." Of course, he had to be right. The first mirror glowed violently for a brief moment, before a small creature popped out, and charged at them blindly. Successive victories would release harder monsters. "I guess if we win, we'll get the Orb." The creature was downed without much effort or thought.
"Why don't we grow these roots in our garden..." The little elf kept up his task.
The druid looked at Malik with a blank face, "Letting him win would be a worse idea, because he will eventually find out and that will make him even more upset. Or worse, he might think that he is good at something he may not be. It would not go well for him to think he's strong in battle and actually isn't."

This was great, Zahara decided to get him right in the throat and that left the elf gasping form breath as he held his hand to the place where she kicked him; well now he felt like an idiot and so he looked down lightly at the dagger that was held to this throat. Was it all done? Well she wanted to know so he took a small breath and looked at her for a spilt second. "Take that opportunity next time." He muttered then with a snap of his reflexives he grabbed her wrist and pulled her hand way then yanked her hard to come straight towards him. In a spilt second his other hand, he had dropped his dagger before, came up and punched her right in the stomach. "It's whoever is wounded to the point they can't fight anymore...or a least says it over..." He whispered in a raspy voice before he used the momentum of his fist to push her off, allowing him to roll away and grab his dagger before going into an attack mode again.

Kieran merely made one of those 'it's in your hands' gestures to Malik. After all, it was now wasn't it? And ultimately Malik was going to go about this in whatever manner he chose, regardless of input to a point. "If you're going to stick him with one being then you better keep it switched up, seeing as he'll get comfortable."
Piper closed her account book, and got herself up, returning back to the desk with it and setting it on it's top. There, she had done her damn accounts now hadn't she? Indeed she had. Reaching into her pocket she pulled out one of the many viles she had been supplied wth recently, downing it's contents to stop an oncoming headache. Over to a mirror with her, not that she could see much, prodding at the still slightly sore spot on her head. Yeah fun.

"Yeah." She pulled out her small dirk and a long sword, readying for the next attack. The off mirror sound...and another creature came out...
Soon the fight had esculated to a point where both Fina and Leaf were fighting at the same time, and had little opportunity to rest before another creature was upon them. Eventually, the mosnteres were let loose in pairs.
Skilled she was, but she did have limits. Leaf was growing tired, and various pieces of her light elven armor where slashed or ruined, she bleed from several plaves.
Laudi straightened, a chunk of Aella's shoulder dangling from her mouth. She smiled, looked over. "You? You're all fur, that's no fun."
Aella clutched at the wond with one hand, tried to stem the flow of blood form her with the other. Taken by surprise, weaponless, there was not much she could do, although struggle she did. And make it difficult too, Laudi was having trouble keeping her ahnds on the girl.

She had been expecting to call it right there. She'd had him down, dagger at his throat. Her eyes narrowed at his mumbling and then she was sprawling as he yanked her off balance. She felt something slam into her stomach and hissed in pain as her navel ring was more or less punched into her skin. And then she hit the dirt. Rolling onto her back so she didn't get a face full of dirt she reached down and felt the sticky blood then studied the ring that had more or less repierced her and torn her original hole. Yeah, that felt good. She pulled the ring out carefully, wincing when she stuck herself once again, then pushed to her feet, ingoring the blood dripping down her stomach. "Fine." Her daggers were still in her hand and she rushed him, both daggers up and swiping, slashing at his arms, stomach and legs all seriousness now. He wanted to fight, she'd give him a fight.

Fin was growing very weary with both fatigue and blood loss. He had several open wounds that desperately needed attention. He looked at leaf over the shoulders of the now headless fire fiend, and saw that she was in a similar condition. He needed more power. He needed more energy. He need more Divine Favour. A White glowing energy surrounded him, and he began hacking away more fiercely than before. The numbers declined, and he was left standing above a floor that was now more ash than stone. The last foe, was pretty big. It was a giant, roughly twenty feet tall. It had fiery red hair and eyes, and a very large, nasty looking ax. Fin charged the creature.

Dispatching with the last very large hell feind, Leaf spun around to see the giant. She pulled two arrows from her quiver, sighted them on the bow and aimed.
A crab like creature that had gotten burried in the ash took the opportunity to stab Leaf. A fast toxin was released, made Leaf swoon, and she let loose. One arrow hit it's mark, finding a place just under the giant's arm. The other fell short, and thunked into Fin's calve. She hit the ground with a thump, ash billowing out in clouds.

Well now Arthur expected her to come back in full force so he prepared himself, when Zahara rushed him he blocked as best he could, his dagger going at her own before he sustained a few cuts here and there but when he got the chance he jumped back and made his free hand go into the sleeve his other arm; then he pulled out another dagger and smiled a little, he only had taken out one to allow someone to believe he only had one. So they were back at it again, daggers clanging against each other, small but sharp wounds were being opened here and there; though once he saw and opening Arthur took it, using his speed to get underneath one of her attacks and move around her body. Once he was able to move he brought his dagger up to cut a bit of her back, it maybe a small wound but it would bug her as the fight kept on going.

Fin jerked with the impact of the arrow, and fell in front of the giant. The ax descended upon him...
Glorfindel... Stand up and fight... Or... Your people will die...
The elf felt his body grow very warm, and he felt very far away at that final moment, before he became very cold all of a sudden. The sound of the dragon's wings flapping beyond his head drew him from his subconscious state...
"Good little elf. You brought the orb. Only two left." The red dragon said to him.
Fin could barely turn his head to see Leaf's unconscious form in the dragon's other claw. "Leaf..."
The flight back to the Cathedral seemed much longer than it was, and the elves were unceremoniously dropped on the floor in front of Corathian. The cleric looked at the duet with a very discomforting look. Even the bard Lore seemed very thrown back by what he saw.
The blue robed figure approached the party, "The Temples only get harder from this point onwards. Heal them quickly. I wish to end this misery sooner than your lives give out." Callous dragon he was, that Ion certainly was an evil one.

So he had two daggers, that just put them on even ground and she felt much better. She could defend and attack at the same time parrying the blows relatively easily. Sure he got in few shots but he took a few as well and pretty soon blood was oozing out of both of them from teh different places they'd sliced. Zahara wasn't winded in the least, she just kept coming at him, her arms moving in coordination with the rest of her body to keep him backing up. Though when he undercut her she felt him right up against her and the moment she felt that dagger slice into her back she got pissed. Grabbing him by the shoulders as her body arched against his she cursed and brought her knee right in between his legs but she refused to let go of his shoulders and she did it three more times in quick succession. Shoving him back she stepped back herself and reached behind her to fix the damage he'd done but her top was sliced. It didn't take a genius to figure out that she was pretty much flapping free now. He'd looked down her skirt, now he caught glimpses of her breasts, if she didn't know any better, she would swear that he was trying to cut her clothes off. Oh but she wasn't done yet. Slipping her daggers back into their sheath for now, she turned and flew at him before lifting up into a kick and shoving both feet into his stomach, using hte momentum she'd gained from the charge to bring him down. "Give up yet?" SHe could have those daggers out in less than a second. She was well trained in the draw.

Leaf's eyes felt like they had lead weights on them. She must have struggeld for hours to get them open. She still couldn't, so she lifted herself up on her arms. She was weak, she was tired. She just wanted to go back to the sweet blackness of..whatever it had been.
She fell back in a sitting position, finally wrestled her eyes open. She was no longer in the fire temple as she had expected. Her leg was sore from the stab. Her gaze was fuzzy, she couldn't yet see. "Fin?"

"Did I?" She fixed her eyes on the mass she assume to be Fin until her vison cleared. Yeah, it was Fin. "My appologies." She rubbed at her leg. "Such was not my intention, I assure you."
Rubbing at her head and eyes. "I...don't remeber much. Were we on the back of a giant flaming otter?"
