Prayers, people....prayers. Applied to a customer service job at a closed door pharmacy. Friend from school is a supervisor there and has been trying to get me on for a while now. Boss lady hires referrals, so there's a good chance I get my foot in the door here. All my problems will be solved if I get this job.

Protector of Dragons Protector of Dragons CAUTION! Nit-picky, old-person speaking:
[Start rant]Your = belonging to, SINGULAR, as in " your new egg" You're = contraction of two words, "you" and "are" with an apostrophe taking the place of the connecting vowel as in " You're welcome" UR = a city in ancient Mesopotamia, no longer in existence. There = indicate place, as in "eggs are dropping there" Their = belonging to, PLURAL, "it's their party" They're = contraction of two words, "they" and "are" with an apostrophe taking the place of the connecting vowel as in " They're both looking for the same type of egg". PLEASE! Use the right words! [End rant]Hope it wasn't me. I don't usually do that, but sometimes my fingers type faster than I can read and I miss them. But I, also, am the grammar police. That's all 3rd grade stuff. Not directed AT anyone in *particular*, just reacting to entirely too many posts that made me cringe! I feel so much better getting all that out. heheheI hear that. Takes all I have, some days, to NOT edit with red fonts. smile Hope you don't mind my occasional "y'all." It's a Southern thing. biggrin wink It's a proper contraction. That's one thing I've been unable to lose. I say it all the time. I was able to lose "you'uns" though. And "we'uns" LOL. I understand that there are colloquialisms. It's the blatant butchering of accepted (American) English language spelling and usage that makes me nuts. Like "it's" and "its". Sigh. Old people worry about the silliest things.I say y'all every now and then, even though I'm not really at all southern. I just like to think I am. It's my "hey you large group of people" wording choice. 4laugh However... as a Yinzer, I'm just stuck with everyone around here saying "hey yinz guys!" all the time. ((Pittsburgh, for yinz who dun know~)) BTW OMG I WAS AT THE STORE EARLIER AND SAW A SIGN THAT SOME EMPLOYEE MUST HAVE WRITTEN AND IT SAID "Thanks for supporting -store-! We apprecaite you're business!" scream scream scream
