Konton smiled wickedly, his wings unfolding to cover Morrigan in darkness. His eyes held her own and the demon sent fear coursing toward her. Suddenly however, something slammed into the demon, knocking him back. Po-ar stood there, his injured hand clasped tightly to his chest. However, it was evident that it had been THAT hand which had pushed the demon back. He grabbed Morrigan's hand, pulling her up, and quickly raised his ki. The two flew out the door with lightning fast speed. "GET THEM!" Konton shouted angrily.

Euro nodded, but she was pale, as she sat down on the bed. "Yeah... I just..." she sighed. "I wish I knew what to do."

Morrigan clung to his waist, inable to suppress the small cry of fear that came from her lips. She wasn't letting go unless someone broke or dislocated both arms. "Left!" she shouted, directing him through the bandit complex, "Right, left, UP-AGH!!" One of the shadow-warriors had dropped from the ceiling, pouncing the couple into the ground. The impact hurt enough to leave Morrigan stunned, and it ached to move. Po-ar on the otherhand wasn't so fortunate. Twelve different demons appeared and began brutally beating the crap out of the Ou, dislocating both of his shoulders. "Po-ar!?" Morrigan cried, "Po-ar!!!"

Po-ar screamed, though if it was from anger of pain it was hard to tell. His injured hand throbbed relentlessly, but the agony of his shoulders made things far worse. "RUN, MORRIGAN! NOW!" the Tarnb-jin shouted before he was brutily backhanded.

Morrigan scampered backwards before awkwardly rising to her feet, tears streaming down her face. She couldn't find her voice, but her concern for Po-ar overrode nearly everything. Save for the fact she was totally defenseless and surrounded by demons and urged to escape by her protector. She took off running down the hall, her throat choked by her heart; she was in serious, serious trouble. Behind her were demons; before her, Nagaroi. She was in a bad position either way. She ducked into one of the rooms with an open ceiling, and began to climb the walls frantically. She had this sickening sense the quieter the hallways grew, the same paralyzing fear she recieved from Konton. And how strange was that. Morrigan had never displayed or really felt the emotion before she met Po-ar. The thought of losing her life was light, save for her brother and responsibilities to the clan; now, she had a lot to lose. She actually wanted to stay alive now... She was at least glad she barricaded the door.

Konton caught up with those whom had captured Po-ar. He smirked, seeing the Tarnb-jin lying pinned in pain. "Where is the woman?" he hissed to the demons.

The demons looked around at eachother, and shrugged. Honestly, they'd been too focused on Po-ar. It wasn't a surprise. They'd been completely hellbent on getting him and his aunt for the past few..... God knew how long. It felt like hundreds of thousands of years. They looked at eachother, all cocooned around the Tarnb-jin in a vicious mob. You know, honestly, they hardly noticed anyone that WASN'T from the Tarnb-jin's planet. "She might be down the hall..." one suggested, "She couldn't have gotten far."
Now here came the tricky part. The walls melted into a domed ceiling of branches probably pillaged from an oak grove or ash; she couldn't tell save that it seemed familiar. The woven ceiling had plenty of footholds, but early on, one had to swing like on the monkeybars. Once she got to the firehole in the center, she'd pull herself up onto the roof, and take to the hills. So long as she kept her hold, had enough upper body strength left, and she wasn't discovered. She climbed on all fours until her feet slipped from their nooks; she swung like a pendulum for a few seconds. One hand after another, she made her way backwards, fingers beginning to slip if she held on for longer than a few seconds. It wasn't too hard after planning where you had to grab next for the next twelve moves. Her hands gripped around the circular opening, and she could see the sky, vast and brilliant blue. She lifted herself up. Her upper torso was exposed to the wind now; the land was beautiful. If she could respect one or two things about the Nagaroi, they had good aesthetic tastes and admirable skills in music and magick. Sadly, this was grossly outweighed by their list of negative qualities, so Morrigan wasted no time in lifting one knee out and under her. Phew. She was on more stable ground, but on borrowed time.

"GET AFTER HER!" Konton shouted, his wings stretching out in his rage. "Take Po-ar back to Naga and then FIND THAT WOMAN!"

Imogene nodded in understanding, digging through the trash until she found last nigths take-out dinner. She shtill had unused salt packets in there, which she precceded to shove into her pockets.
"You know more than I do about what in the world is going on, I'm sure. I think I just got nabbed 'cause I'm blue. Anyway, I think teh best thing we can do is get to where Vincient said and give all of them a heads up. From there..." the young woman shrugged, 'I don't usualyl make plans. I'll figure it out from there. Fairies."

"I've no idea what's happening." Euro spoke, standing. "But Vincent has to know and he'll have a plan... I hope. I'd hardly been with them any longer than you."

"Yeah, I'm going to give Vincient a good slug for making Naga's people aware of. Though, I suppose, it wasn't realyl his fault, but it'll make me feel better at least," said Imogene, seriously wondering why she wasn't freaking out more.
"Ready to go?"

"Yeah. Let's hurry. The sooner we can report this, the more chances there will be to rescue Morrigan and Po-ar." Euro replied with a nod.

Imogene slung her backpack oevr her shoulder and opened up the small clostes of her room. Taking Euro's hand, she concentrated and pushed through the hangers and the clothes, coming right out into a wardrobe, whose room was also occupied by the twins Imogene had seen in teh cafe.
"Oh, hey, how are you doing?" Imogene asked the boy, who was awake. He just stared at her.
"Um, where's Vincient," Imogene asked calmly as if girls burst out of clostes all teh tiime.
The boy pointed out the door and to the side.
"Thanks."

She was out. Morrigan took off sprinting as fast as her legs could carry her towards the forests, and the thousands and thousands of acres that she could hide in. Safety. She had to find someplace of relative safety...! She could hear Naga shouting from the room she'd been in, but didn't pause to think about it; she'd leave that to later. For now, there was only escape. The shadow beings under Naga had an ironclad grip on Po-ar, so she didn't have to worry about them, not yet. The forests engulfed her small form, and she kept running until she completely collapsed of exhaustion. By then, she was deep into the territory, taking shelter within a tiny grove of oak, and a mountain spring only a couple feet away.
The demons flooded the hideout, and at Naga's alarm, took to the outside. They knew where she was headed. Strangely, the paths all seemed to lead in circles.... The trees gave passage to their kindred fae, but demons were another sort entirely. They guessed, if anywhere, she'd be in the valleys between the mountains where she'd be more likely to find water. They kept up the circle of search-and-failure, the forests rejecting them time after time after time. It seemed as if the moment they walked in, they found a path that lead to a clearing straight forward, and.... ....And there was the hideout. Naga watched, arms crossed, and an eyebrow raised. "Not the very bright sort, are they...?" he murmured, "The forests have kicked them out. They're foreign..." he sighed. A few scouts and trackers took off and disappeared into the emerald sea; the demons on the otherhand were still tossed back. "They'll find her---or I will myself. I think I know where she's headed, anyhow."
Vincent strolled lazily down the street, pausing here and there at a bar, highly tempted. On second thought, he'd been drugged enough for his tastes this week. He'd pass. Morrigan nor Po-ar had shown up; he wasn't really sure where it was they went, or why. He assumed it had something to do with the flirtation that was so easily noticed between the two. Perhaps Morrigan would finally move out? If he was more attentive, he would've noticed he was right near a string of hotels.....but, today, he was oblivious. "Six day vacation...." he murmured, examining a brochure, "To Tahiti...?"

"Where is he?" Euro asked, not finding Vincent in the room where they had been directed to.

Konton turned to Naga, "My demons will guard your fortress while your warriors find the woman." he spoke, moving a finger toward where his demons held Po-ar captive. The shadowy figures through the Tarnb-jin to the ground before the feet of Naga and Konton. Po-ar gave a muffled cry of pain before forcing himself up on his knees.

"Damnit," sadi Imogene irritably, "I wish we could just page fairies. That would make my life so much easier. I wonder if I can find Pelly to find him..."
"Whose Pelly?" asked a voice from behind them. It was Lief.
"My old imginary friend. Short for Pell-Mell. Wher's Vincient?"
Lief shook his head helplessly, "I have no idea. What escatly...happened?"
Quick as she could, Imogene explained everything that had happened. And in less than five minutes. She was just that good. Lots of practice.
Lief's eyes widened and he nodded grimly. "Opus!," he called to the High Druid. He may not know where Vincient was, but the Temple itself should be told and they might be able to find the man.
