Emiri watched as the fossil fell to pieces, Ivysaur having been the force that did it. Ivysaur, exhausted from such a harsh battle, hobbled back to Emiri, who fell to her knees to hug him. She hugged him around the neck, and fixed his bandanna. Taking his head in her hands, she put her forehead to his.
"Ivysaur, I am so proud of you," Emiri whispered. "You weren't scared of that monster and you beat it," she said, nuzzling him. She knelt by him, and dug through her bag, finding potions to give him, healing him back to full health and cleaning his wounds. Emiri stood up, so proud of Ivysaur.
"Alright. If Ivysaur's not scared of these things, whatever they are, I'm not either," Emiri said to her pokemon. "What do you guys say," Emiri asked. Charmeleon, Scyther, Rhyhorn, and Ninetails all looked at her and Ivysaur, and cheered, ready for anything.

Ivysaur smiled up at Aku.
"I had nothing to do with it. It was all Ivysaur. Without him, that fossil whatever would still be chasing us," Emiri said, looking down at Ivysaur.
"It's scary going up against one of those things. I'd be careful if I were you," Emiri warned. Ivysaur agreed, the rest of her pokemon following suit.
"Just be careful out here. I'm going to keep looking around. Hopefully we won't run into anymore of those things," Emiri said, looking around at her pokemon, then back to Aku.

Rather odd. Chews on things that should break her teeth. Tackle- 20 Tail Whip- 5 Appearance| 2/7 With his eyes in the skies, Buju was able to locate Emiri rather quickly. He was positive she'd seen him as well, before something completely alien caught his attention. A living fossil, or so it seemed. He rushed back to Ritz's side and led her to her new friends. "Hey!" she called as she found herself in their presence, the Venemoth that was her companion firmly attached to her head and guiding her directions from there. She might have some strange reaction when she heard about the fossils, though.

Emiri gasped when she thought she heard something approaching her and her pokemon, ready to face another one of those fossils, but heard the same sound, now rather familure.
Emiri looked in a direction not far from her and Aku, seeing the fluttering, purple wings of Buju, and Ritz close behind.
Emiri and her pokemon, happy to see them, ran up to them in greeting.
"I'm so glad you caught up Ritz," Emiri said happily, quickly changing demeanor though. "This place is crazy though. I feel like I'm halucinating! There's living fossils everywhere!"

"So far I've only seen Kabutops, I just hope there aren't any more than we can handle," Emiri said, looking over her pokemon.

Alex saw that Kabutops was drawing closer, before anyone could see it he looked at Spinarak " Use poison Jab!" he said as spinarak dashed toward Kabutops and it did a poison jab.

Alex then returned his spinarak, once he did that the Kabutops redirected it's attantion toward the group " Crap, this is bad..." he thought as the Kabutops got ever closer, Alex looked at Trecko and nooded, trecko then jumped off of him once more and used focous punch to smash the Kabutops into nothing.

Aella made it to Pewter with pretty good time. The Dodrio came to a halt on the outskirts of town, as Brayden climbed off, glad to be back on his own two legs again. Despite Aella's speed on the ground, she was a bit reckless when she was aiming to get somewhere fast. Brayden was sure she shouldn't have physically accomplished some of the leaps up the ledges that she did...
Brayden could spot a few fossils even from where he was standing on the borders of town. That was more than enough to cause him pause as he recalled the Dodrio.
"Wow..." he muttered, "It really is true..." While he had certainly believed the news reports coming in, nothing could quite prepare him for seeing the living (or un-dead, comparing how you looked at it) museum artifacts, rampaging through town. Aereodactyl fossils clung to the rooftops, tearing up shingles as they made their way across the tops of the buildings.
"I just hope they got everyone to safety..." Brayden muttered, watching a Kabutops rip through a postal box like it was paper. He shivered. Being caught on the nasty end of those scythes was sure to leave a mark.
Bray looked around, trying to find Kaya amongst the chaos. He wasn't sure if the former prince had made it to town yet, but didn't see any sign of him, or his Skarmory.
So he summoned Gin'iro for company and protection as he dared to enter the city. The silver Ninetales trotted alongside him, keeping close. He didn't like the smell of this place. It was just.... wrong. Fur bristling slightly along his neck, Gin growled low, tails waving behind him as the two made their way through the streets, careful to avoid confrontation for as long as they could. Which, considering the situation, couldn't be very long...

One of Brayden's first order of business was to swap Aella out. Although he enjoyed the Dodrio's company (despite her strange personality), he really had plenty of water types he needed to get training.
After uploading his PokeNav info to locate the Pokecenter, Brayden headed in that direction first, Gin'iro still traveling alongside him, keeping a careful eye out on the fossils. It seemed they had gone unnoticed so far, which was good.
But apparently his luck ran out when they made it to the center. Brayden was surprised to find it barricaded. Apparently to keep out the invading fossils. But it also kept out any trainers.
"Weeeell... that sucks," Brayden scratched his head, considering his options. Gin'iro yawned, stretching lazily as his trainer tried to figure out what to do. The Ninetales sidestepped the dust and debris from the onslaught, coming to sit under a lamp post. Brayden tried his luck with his Pokedex. Most places had wireless signals now, maybe he could tap into the Pokecenter's computer from here?
Hoping for the best, Bray rummaged in his bag, finding and booting up his Dex. After logging in, he looked to the settings, trying to find any wireless networks in the area. He did this as he walked around the perimeter of the Center, seeking out a signal.
Finally, victory. Brayden spotted a single bar blip onto the screen, and halted his footsteps. Smiling, Bray logged into his PC data, making the switch to his party. He deposited Aella, and withdrew the Squirtle he had caught a while back during his travels.
"Alright, that's one problem down," Bray placed the Dex back into his bag, before motioning to Gin'iro.
"Ready to head out?" he asked the fox. Gin'iro offered a vulpine grin, smirking, as he trotted to lead the way.
