Kibo: Drunken banter, and nothing more. On Calatoina, Storm assumed that I'd be marrying her; for what reason, I do not know. Although I am flattered that my false enthusiasm was convincing enough to trick you, Storm, I have to admit that drunken conversation does not a proposal make. Hate to break it to you. Besides, in case you haven't remembered, I do not have an excellent track record with marriages, and my "engagement checklist" contains "a person who will not maim, rape, or stab me. Intentionally."

Sunny let out the breath she'd been holding with relief. "Of course, of course. I must say for a moment I was quite shocked, however" she said only to realise that she'd spoken out loud. Her face flushed deep crimson and she whipped around to face the bar. "One flute of your reddest wine, please!" she chirped as she felt herself shrink with humiliation.

Kibo put his arm around her comfortingly.
Kibo: It's okay. I must say, I'd have thought Storm would have seen through it from the beginning. I wasn't trying that much. Wishful thinking, I suppose...
His usual hateful apathy towards Storm faded for a moment, replaced with pity. But as soon as it disappeared, it returned.
Kibo: But I can't imagine being with anyone other than you.
He leans in, whispering in her ear.
Kibo: And you know you look cute when you blush, right?

Sunny grabbed the wine glass that had been extended to her and downed it quickly. "Th-thank you!" she squeaked. She wanted to say so much more but her brain had turned to mush from the mix of the feel of his breath on her ear, the bitterness radiating off of Storm, and Auron's curious stare. The flustered girl coughed nervously and bowed her head so her eyes were hidden by her bangs.

Kibo moved back a little, but still retained a whisper that could be heard only by her.
Kibo: Do you want to leave?

Kibo chuckles to himself, tapping the 4th marking on his arm.
Kibo: That's a yes.
He takes Sunny's hand, and sinks into the shadows with her, reemerging a few hundred yards away from the bar.
Kibo: I'll assume you want to look at the candles yourself.
He puts his hands in his pockets, walking back towards the bar.

Sunny turned and grabbed him by the arm gently. "Actually... A little company would be appreciated. That is... If you'll stay..." she said softly, letting him go.

Kibo smiles warmly as he feels her grab his arm, and the smile only widened as he heard her words.
Kibo: Then company you shall have. I couldn't imagine having to face Storm after all that anyway.
He turns, grabbing Sunny's hand, intertwines their fingers, and kisses it, all in one fluid motion.

"She seems quite determined to be with you for someone that re-iterated their hatred so often. If I were a meaner girl I'd be jealous" she teased lightly, glad that he chose to stay. "I hope she finds someone special. She deserves to be happy as much as anyone else" she said.

auron sighs as he pulls down the front corner of his hat "those two are a real pain in the" he said, stopping short as he teleported in front of kibo upside down "why dont you just admit it, kibo, you have finally found a girl you love, yet you don't want to marry her, what a player" he said, cracking his neck as he crossed his arms "sorry, Sunny, it is just the impression i got from the way you two have been acting"

Kibo: She deserves happiness, but she won't get it. She deliberately sabotages her own chances at happiness, claiming it was done with the intent of "educating one in the true ways of the world."
He greets Auron with a well-aimed punch to the gut.

"yeah, and i got just the place for that miniball" auron says, turning around and flipping over, so that he is standing on the ground "but i will not say it in the presense of a lady" he says, teleporting behind kibo "good luck with your date, player" he says, chuckling loudly as he teleports back to the tavern and grabs his pint of rum again

Kibo snaps his fingers. Miles away, the now-underwater ship Auron had planned to use one day explodes in a large explosion of wood and steel bolts.

Storm blinked back from wherever she had went, and felt a moment of curious deatchment, seeing that only her family was left in the commons room with her.
"Where'd everyone go?"
"Dead." "Deaddeaddead."
Zia and Maida giggled at Storm's somwhat alarmed look.
"What?"
