I too am glad to hear he had a good time. I did not realize he was Catholic. How does he take your paganism thing?

He thinks that it's wonderful - the fact there's no (or very little in some traditions) heirachy so that everyone is equal, the worship of all things the Earth gives us - he loves our peacefullness. smile

Bump! I'm glad somebody can appreciate our peacefulness. My boyfriend/fiance/not sure yet because he hasn't gotten rings yet doesn't fully understand my religious views, and so he gets very, very nervous when I try to talk to him about spells or even just HERBS! Seriously, though- he's so sick with the cold that he can barely breathe, but he won't trust me when I say "boil some peppermint in chicken broth." Am I supposed to feel unwanted just because I quit being Catholic? sad (if you have any solutions, please PM me the conversation. I don't always have time to post in forums.)

Oh that's so annoying that he cannot trust you. Is there any reason why he gets nervous? It just sounds so irrational... Personally I'd say for colds that ginger tea and vapourised eucalyptus oil in hot water work perfectly well.

I've heard that adding some honey to ginger tea is supposed to help too.
