The young colony wandered about the territory with his fine, long brown hair flowing in the occasional breeze of the autumn afternoon. He carried his rifle in hand, looking for a mighty quarry to prove his grit to his northern brother.Then he spotted it, a large buck with a mighty build and antlers to match. He let a smirk wiggle it's way onto his lips. "This ought to prove that stupid tomahawk tosser that he's dealin' with the mightiest boy of the south." He muttered as he took aim.

Johnathan focused his mind and body, putting all of his being into the shot, he even imagined the deer had Tennessee's face just to make him even more determined to pull the trigger. Nature was with him, the breeze was strong, blowing his hair out of his eyes and revealing his glare of determination. His fingers tightened, and he pulled on the trigger, finally hearing the mighty click of his first shot to kill. A mighty blast spooked all the birds away and left the poor young man lying on his hind quarters."Damn....Some sorta mighty strong recoil." He muttered as he stood up and rubbed his head, feeling the first head trauma case of many he'd come to have. Johnny dared to look forward, he dared to look for his kill...But he only saw the most impressive thing he's ever seen...He MISSED!
