Perfect, what was perfect? Though he didn't ask merely let it go and not think about it. A look to her as she rubbed his back in that soothing manner before she took the glass and occupied space in the bathroom, presumably cleaning out said glass. With a sigh, he laidd back on the bed, bringing a hand to his throat and resting it there, rubbing lightly as if it was going to help what was going on inside.
Opening his once closed eyes at the sound of her steps and voice once more, he saw her holding a pack of cards. And he gave her a stupid blink. "No, I don't think I've ever even heard of it." Then again that was understandable wasn't it? He wasn't ever allowed to do anything fun when he was growing up. Well, he assumed it was a fun thing, but he was skeptical...after all it had the word slap in it followed by a male's name.

She watched him for a moment, noting the fatigue that still lined his face and reflected in his ruby eyes. There was a whole other world there, some of it shining and warm, some of it dark and cold. Whole lifetimes had been lived in those eyes and she felt herself shiver as she contemplated just what he had seen. Yanking herself back to the present she gave him a smile and plopped down on the bed. "It's really very simple." The cards came to life in her hands as she shuffled and snapped them about. "It's a game of precision and reflex. I'm going to flip one card at a time onto a pile on the bed." Flicking her wrist she let card after card flutter to the blanket, face up until the jack of hearts popped up. Grinning, she picked up the smirking man and flashed him. "Meet Jack. Jack has four brothers and they are all hiding somewhere in this deck. When you see him fall, you slap him. If I beat you to it, the point goes to me. But you have to be quick. You only get four chances to slap the card. Fail and I win. Interested?" she asked, the challenge ripe in her eyes.

"Sure." However he wanted to do it, he could so it. After all it was his idea so she shouldn't need to worry about that when he did it or how. So then, that in her mind, she hushed herself up and merely sat there, waiting for feeling to come back. And it was...though in that almost painful prickly feeling. She hated that. Giving a sigh she braced her hands on her seat and then leaned off of Galesen, taking a moment before pushing herself up to stand, taking a stumbly step or two. Oh yeah, that was fun. "Not to self, bad to egg on drow."
He watched her, watching him...not quite sure what to make of how deeply she was looking at him. He knew he should turn his eyes away, that they told everything about him if one cared to stare long enough and he couldn't guard them. But he couldn't break his eyes from hers...and was only given reprieve when she looked away. Well...that was...something...he didn't quite know how to describe that.
Somehow...he find it amusing that they were actually slapping a jack. Though at the same time it was kind of a relief for him and his paranoia. It was a card game apparently, whoever was faster than the other one, won the game. Okay, so just slap a hand down on that particular card and ones like it. He could handle that. He smirked lightly. "Sure, why not."

Well now it seemed that they had nothing to talk about so all they can do is just sit there in each other's company, and it felt nice for a change to just sit and be close to someone. Though after awhile he felt her push away and he watched in silence, he wanted to see what she was going to do so when she got up and took a few stumbling steps that got Arthur up just incase she fell. Though he had to laugh a little at her comment, at least she learned that lesson, it's one that all people should learn if they want to take one on. "Well at least you know that now, I did awhile ago when I egged him on and I got his sword in my back somewhere..." A small shake of his head as he grinned, he didn't care for that fight anyway he got Malik pretty good as well for a second time.

"Well, you life involves knowing when to fold your hand." Giving a nod to that before she took another tenative step. Yeah this was a really really weird feeling. A look to Galesen. "You want to give me a lift up to my room so I can get myself cleaned up? It may be a bit before you get to talk to Kieran privately...you can kill some time by helping me out."

Arthur nodded lightly as he kept a good eye on Isle, not in a weird way but a friend who wants to help out. "Yeah that's true...but during that fight I didn't want to fold, I would so I just had to egg him on..." A small smirk at that and he chuckled a little before he was asked by the elf to help her to her room. "Sure why not?" So he wandered over to her and paused for a second. "Do you want the old 'me as your support while you walk'? Or do you want to be carried in my arms up to your room? I don't know how bad your wounds are so..." A small grin to that as he gave a small shrug as he chuckled, this was odd but he was liking it; though before she could say a word being carful of her body he scooped her up in his arms and had that same old grin on him. "You know what? I'll carry you instead...at least you don't have to worry about your legs until later."

Fully into the competitive spirit she nodded and picked those cards up that she'd already let fall. Springing them to life once again, she shuffled, keeping her eyes right on his. Then raising an eyebrow she began. "Ready?" The cards began to fall rapidly and it didn't take them long to get caught up in the game. He was fast, she was faster. Then she was fast but he was faster. The cards blurred by as the game went on until the final score reached a tie. Thus it was tiebreaker time. She went faster and faster but trained to catch objects as they blurred past they both were right on top of things. He slapped. She slapped. He slapped again and so did she. Another tie. The competition was really heating up now and she was dropping the cards too quickly for either of them to really see them. Three games went by and he was one ahead. She was waiting for that last jack. King. Nine. Ace. Jack! Her mind sprang and she slapped her hand down but his was already there. That made twenty for him. Nineteen for her. He'd won. She took a breath and stared down at his hand on the card. "Very nice Sevilin. This will be the last time I teach you a game that you so easily beat me at."

She rolled her eyes as he asked but didn't say anything. There was no point in saying anything about it and it grew tiresome after a while pointing it out to him. "Just...stay close." Turning to walk away, only to be scooped up a moment later. Well, apparently he had made a decision after all. Fickle thing, Galesen was. "Nice to see you can make a decision."
"What can I say, I'm used to chasing down fast things with my eyes and catching them." He raised his hand from the cards and looked at his palm, hm, that little stinging sensation from slapping it down so many times. Who knew he was good at a card game of any sorts? Learn something new all the time, don't you? But with a sigh he leaned back on the bed again, hands behind his head a moment. "Well...did make me feel better."

She gathered up the cards, twisting those who had gotten turned out of place and then set them down beside her before stretching out her legs, so they rested next to his and leaned back against the other side of the bed. A reflection of each other. "Your slapping got progressively harder," she said ruefully rubbing the back of her hand. Then she grinned, "I'm glad it helped. Now you've slapped the crap out of an inked character named Jack." She settled back and sighed softly, "Lazy sort of day. So you aren't going after the girl, right? But only because you don't want to, not because I won't let you?"

Arthur paused for a second, looking at Isle for a moment before he started to walk. "Well thanks...I guess" Though he kind of started to notice that ever time he asked her if she wanted something she got upset at him, but he had to keep that in the back of his head for now. Moments later they arrived at Isle room and with a little effort the door open allowing both elves to enter, once they were inside Arthur closed the door with his foot and carried Isle over to the bed, setting her down on the matters. "There we go." He said with a smile and a chuckle as he sat down on the edge, heck he could get use to carrying Isle around from now on if she needed to be taking places.

He turned his head to her, giving her a lopsided grin of sorts. "Sorry, didn't mean to hurt you if I did." A slight sigh and then he looked up to the ceiling, blinking lightly. But he fell quiet for a moment, thinking over the things she had asked him. "I don't know...part of me wants to but at the same time I think it would just be a waste of energy." Quiet again before he turned his gaze to her again. "Why did you kiss me this morning?"
"You enjoyed that didn't you?" Giving him a little smirk of sorts and sitting there on the bed a moment before she forced herself up and managed her way to the bathroom where the sound of running water would be heard...before she started throwing clothes out the door into the main room's floor. "I do indeed see why you may not want to train." Throw her capes out, and her boots. "I wouldn't want to be beat around like that every day." Throw out the tunic and socks. "But at the same time there's a certain eagerness to want to get in the ring with him." Throw out the pants and her hair clip, before poking her head out. "Don'tcha think?"

Arthur grinned lightly at Isle as he looked ay her. "Of course, rarely do I get to carry a lovely woman to her room." A chuckle to that before Isle got herself out of bed and headed to the washroom where he could hear her starting to make her bath while throwing out articles of clothing. But he listened to her quietly as she kept on tossing out her cloths, Arthur gave a laugh to that and a small warm smile when she poked her head out of the door. "Of course, he trains me really hard with random creatures or people each day, but I have my reasons for wanting to fight him and I don't care how long it takes I will defeat him one of these days..." His smile grew bigger as he got up and walked over to the doorway, though he paused so he could only see her head as he leaned against the wall. "I'm coming on in to give you one of my back rubs, it may help your sore body..." His smile was now a playful grin as he shoved his hands in his pockets, waiting quietly for her own comment.

She shook her head "No, not at all." Okay, her hand was stinging a little bit but not enough to really matter. It was more of an annoyance than anything else. "Probably. Kind of pointless since it's Vesendar. Besides you know that if anyone else tries to come up on you, you can take care of them in a second. Runes and whatnot." Her eyes widened and she opened her mouth to speak before closing it again. Quick, think of a lie. But none came. At all. "I...wanted to...apologize for that. I didn't mean to upset you or catch you off guard or anything. I guess I just...forgot myself for a moment..."

"His ultimate goal has beat Malik." Giving a little chuckle and slipping back into the bathroom, cutting the water off, least it overflow and she flood her bathroom. That wouldn't be too fun. Though she did turn. "What you're warning me? I expected you to just come in two seconds after you realized I was naked...after all, my clothes are out there and I'm in here." Giving another chuckle...she just loved to tease him sometimes didn't she? Of course.
"Besides, Zahara said I had to rub this stuff into my skin and such." Giving a shrug and grabbing the little jar that Zahara had given her, pouring some of it's contents into the water and then slipping into it herself, leaning back and relaxing. Of course the water was rather cold, but Isle liked her water cold.
"If I avoid poison ambush that is." Though watching her lightly as he waited for her answer. He thought it was a simple enough question...she seemed to take a bit of time on it. And then he got an apology. That was a little odd, but understandable as to why she would apologize over anything else first. Sevilin turned his eyes from her and looked up to the ceiling once more, no that it was horribly interesting or anything. "You didn't upset me." Well she hadn't. If she had upset him...well she really would of known. Awkward moment of silence...and he took to whistling just to fill the void.

Dammit. She knew she should have just let things flow and said what she meant. That would have been the truth and clearly he hadn't been upset. Now he was whistling. He wasn't a bad whistler actually. She felt her ears twitch at the sound and then cleared her throat to alert him she was going to speak. "Actually, I don't want to apologize for that. I kissed you because I wanted to. You looked so peaceful in reverie this morning and I don't know, the urge appeared and I gave into it. I want to apologize for ending it so quickly."
