...its only got a 70% chance of hitting New England...so i think we will be fine...

Say are you worried about this Hurricane Sandy? =w=; Some FL and SC folks are getting all freaked out about it when the news says that it's "going to hit between NC and MA" I can understand FL's reason for worry but is it just me or is this a little silly?

yeah i know, but a bunch of fishermen are freaking out becuase of the last storm we had. It was around this same to time too XD so i might not be on becuase my internet will be down. Tis true Flowers . you don't have to deal with snow storms thoughOur news says its coming right in the heart of New England, Or going to completely miss us and go into the ocean.

~finds self in FL's arms~ Ruitilo, for once I agree with you...It's rare but a hurricane has hit the Western part of the state before. What's bad isn't necessarily how strong the storm is, but how slow they move because it can create massive floods. And the Outer Banks are used to having floods due to hurricanes. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if people would go to their beach house and go drinking this weekend. The weathermen around here have been iffy about it too. It's either only going to brush by us or cover at least the eastern half of the state with rain. I doubt there will much of a problem but ya never know. Folks are already crowding the gas stations and buying gas while it's low. Heh, well technically we can get snow storms, especially around the Appalachian areas but we probably don't get them as often as yall do. If I'm not mistaken, we've talked about it before of how snow in the south is more dangerous than it is in the north.

Then there's this tall ship, HMS Bounty, that sank off of NC's Coast, right near Cape Hatteras, while sailing from Connecticut to Florida in the middle of a hurricane... Coast guards are still looking for the captain and one crew member, but the 14 other members have been safely rescued. This ship has appeared in 2 movies, one being from POC: Dead Man's Chest.
