Malik lifted his hand, and it started to glow red, a light red, but red none the less.
"Are you absolutely sure about that there Isle? Choose carefully. I can put you down, and your in no condition to stop me. Or, you can yield. choice is yours."
Hey she wanted the real deal, she was going to get every bit of it.
Broog just nodded and gave a wave to Kieran. though what he was doing here, he didn't understand.

"Yes indeed you do." But she turned her eyes down to the arena and shook her head. "They're both stubborn, excuse me." Picking Malikjai up and heading down to the arena itself, holding him on her hip. "Alright you two, that's enough. Malik you touch her with that hand, and I'll break it. Isleandra, that's a place and feeling you don't want to go or have." A look back to Malik. "Besides, I believe we have company."
Isle looked at Piper...then Malik...then Piper again, then Malik again. Hm... "Yielding." Yeah that didn't look like fun. Okay so what did we learn today? She couldn't take Malik by himself...at least not when he had that damn aura and stuff going...just made it impossible to get to him and come back out with full strength. "Hm...I wonder if anything is broken..." But she was smiling none the less.
"Sometimes adults don't see things that children do." Though that boy of his could ask one hell of a question now couldn't he? Very much so. Now Sevilin didn't want to throw meanings into Zahara's mouth but he didn't want to upset the child either. "I don't think she would lie to you about something like that." At least he hoped so.
"I missed you too." Of course hugging her back and setting her down. "Oh they're learning magic are they? That's exciting." A look over to Broog though adn then back to Lark. "No I got something else in it." Like a drow, but she didn't need to know that. "No dear, but that you for the offer. You finish up your party with Broog, don't let me spoil it for either of you. I'm going to go see your sister." Patting her lightly on teh head and gesturing for her to go back to her little party.

Arthur stood up and followed Piper and when they reached to the arena he hesitated as he watched Isle, paused for a moment before saying. "Well it seems like you had some fun." He chuckled lightly but stopped and sobered up pretty quickly. "You alright though?" But he looked at Piper since he wondered who was over right now. "Who's here?"

Malik looked over a piper and waved his hand, while the glow faded.
"thought never crossed my mind. And good decision Isle. Ask arthur what that's like sometime. He knows about it."
though a raise of the eyebrow to Piper.
"Who's company? And why do I get the feeling it's going to bode ill for me in the long run?"
Lord help him if it was Lateef coming to check on his daughter.

Zahara nodded and waved Piper off watching her as she went down and called everything to order. So far none of the women had been able to beat Malik by themselves. She had to wonder though, how quickly they could bring him down if they were to team up. Now Malik and Sevilin in a face off, that would be something to see. Good thing they were all on the same team now wasn't it? "How's your close quarter combat coming Arthur? Practicing those moves I showed you or only focusing on your sword?"
"I think she was just saying it to make me happy." Zykariel nodded and snuggled in a little tighter. "But that's okay because as soon as she comes home, she'll learn to love me. Just as much as Miss Piper loves Khai." He gave a crooked grin to his father. "I got you to love me, didn't I? She should be just as easy."
Lark nodded and regaining her feet, she walked primly back over and sat down, every inch the princess. "I bet Uncle Lateef wasn't happy at all. He probably lectured you for a few hours and then chained you to your desk," she gave a giggle and then turned her attention back to Broog. "I didn't know you knew Daddy Kieran but that's not important. So Mr. Broog, what have you been up to all day?"

She attempted to stand relatively straight, and managed rather well, crossing her arms lightly and raising one hand to wipe at some random blood. "I do thank you for not going relatively easy on me Malik. Honor in that." And her look turned to Galesen. "Ah I'm good...can't feel my extremities, but I'm good." Leave it to Isle to have such an attitude, though then a giggle from her. "I broke him too, all's fair."
Piper set Malikhai down, knowing the boy would be squirming and such the moment he got all excited and would want to get down anyway, so she was saving a step. "A'mael, stop being paranoid...and do know I'm not letting you do your 'grit my teeth and bear it thing', this time. Quickfire healing for you and Isle as well. Your vacation does not include healing from bodily energy. Besides, I can't have my fun with you when you are hurt either." Giving him a certain smile of her own before letting it melt to a simple one. "Father."
"Grandpa!" And off running went the little boy with his book in hand despite the rules as Kieran made an appearance at the arena, getting himself scooped up though instead of being allowed to slam into his legs. He sqiurmed a little as he was held in the air before he got his hug, wrapping his own arms around Kieran's neck. And then time to chatter on about various things really fast so that it was barely legiable to the ears as he was carried back.
"Well well, looks like I missed all the fun. Isleandra, Malik, I see you two are having yourselves a good time." Giving a chuckle though before looking to Malikhai who was just finishing up his chatter. "Really now? You're just growing up aren't you?" Good thing he knew answers like that huh? Indeed. But back to adults. "So, what I miss?"
"More like what did we miss, what happened to your hair?" Hey, she'd never seen Kieran with his hair like...that...and to her knowledge he wasn't even big on cutting it.
"Mmm, it's a funny story. Me and Mahlari got to close to one another, me in my simple way of ruffling her feathers happened to pluck one so to speak and then turned my back on her, intending to leave her brooding. She had a different idea and well, a dagger swipe and attempted murder later, it's three quarters gone at a horrible steep angle. So it was walk aroudn with stupid hair or walk around with this...which I dislike also. I never listen to Malik, and I should, don't turn your back on a drow." Giving a chuckle...it was funny in retrospect. A look to Arthur. "I see you're in one piece," And a scan of the place got Zahara in his vision, giving her a wave before his attention came back down. There, he had gotten everyone.
He laughed. "I loved you before I even saw you, getting me to do it when you were around was a piece of cake for you." Children were refreshing at times weren't they? Very much so. "I'm sure you'll do a fine job of getting her wrapped around your finger too." Taking the boy's empty class from him and setting it in the sink.

"Well that's good Isle, though Malik's right be glad he didn't touch you with that last attack, I've gotten it twice and it's a real pain trust me; but at least you got as much in there as possible it was a good fight to see." A small nod to that though he kept close incase she needed some help, though before he could say anything he noticed Kieran making an appearance in the arena. "Hey Kieran! It's been way to long." A small smile appeared across his face as he watched the elf get almost run down by his grandson. Though he also noticed how the man's hair was and raised an eyebrow lightly. "Seems a little weird for me to se you hair that short." Though he didn't mind and when the older elf explained the situation he nodded lightly, he was glad that the man was alright. "Yeah I am, I guess I'm that lucky eh?" Though he placed his hands in his pockets as he titled his head to one side, he was really happy right now because he now had the chance to ask Kieran in person if he could go up to the surface, he really wanted to.

When she didn't hear Arthur, she turned to look at him and then realized he was gone. Hmm, that would teach her to try to carry on a conversation with someone she hadn't been nice to when she'd walked up now wouldn't it? Though she couldn't blame Arthur, after all Isle was all messed up right now wasn't she? Which meant that Zahara's services were needed, so down to join the party in the arena for her. "Kieran! I wondered when you were going to pop back up." She walked up and wrapped her arms around him, hugging him though mindful of the child in his arms. She did raise a hand and brush through his hair. "Too bad you can't look as good as me with short hair," she laughed giving him a wink before her gaze went to Isle and Malik. "Isleandra Rainsong, you are coming with me and we're goign to get you all fixed up. Then you, Lord D'vinn are next. I heard it straight from your wife's mouth. No letting nature take its course or any of that nonsense. Come along Isle, let's lick your wounds."
"See how talented I am Daddy? You didn't even see me and I wrapped you. Khai's only got me beat 'cause he got his Mommy and Daddy before he was either of them but that's okay. I just didn't get lucky like that. But what you aren't given you can always find, take, or earn."

"Hm, perhaps I did well then in only letting him beat the snot out of me for a bit." Giving a giggle and tucking some ruffled strands of lavendar behind her ear...hm, there was blood on her ear. One of her rings or the chain must have gotten caught. That was really going to hurt. But then a look at Kieran and a giggle. "I bet daddy had a heart attack when you came home. Fianna fix it?" But her attention turned to Zahara. "That's right you're a cleric. Good times indeed for that!" Though oh the joke opportunity at her words and she looked right at Galesen. "Sure, we can go lick my wounds, sounds like fun."
He looked up as if to look at his own hair. Oh it was just everyone's amusement wasn't it? Of course. "Yeah, everyone gets a laugh now and it's always in my way." Giving a sigh and looking to Zahara. "Yes well, I don't have other attractive features that you women do nor your wiles to distract. So...I'm stuck for a while now aren't I?" At least he was taking this in a good natured manner now wasn't he? "Lateef lecutred me for an hour and then Fianna made me presentable...it was an interesting day."
"Yes, oh so very talented. You're going to be quite the man when you grow up aren't you? Yes well..you're older than Malikhai so that makes up for that now doesn't it?" Poking his son in the nose again and a laught. "That's right, whatever you aren't given then you can get for yourself if you put forth the effort and if it's worth it. Like you wanting ZAhara."

"Trust me it was a bold choice be glad you did." A small chuckle to Isle thought he let Zahara take over since she needed to be healed, Zahara is one of best healers he knows so he didn't mind it at all. Though before he could even speak to Kieran he heard the 'lick my wounds' comment and looked at Isle with a small stare. "Fine go lick your wounds." he said with a light grin before looking at Kieran. "Well in my opinion it's better to have that hair cut than to have a dagger in the back." A small chuckle before he crossed his arms a little. "So other than the threatening hair cut how's things going on up there?"

Zahara chuckled, "I don't know how much fun you're going to have when those wounds are stinging like hell but we'll see. Come on then." She led Isle to a seat on the sidelines of the arena and left her for a moment to retrieve her bag. Then coming back she began to pull out bottles and rags and vials. "First of all drink this. It will help any swelling such to go down." Handing her a vial of orange liquid. "Once that's done we'll start cleaning your wounds. I hate this arena, dirt and dust don't mix very well with what goes on inside the body you know." Thus she dipped a rag in ointment and began to dab very carefully at those places Malik had really gotten hits in on her. Her magic took care of the big stuff and Zahara slapped a jar into her hand. "Take a bath tonight then drench yourself in the stuff. Rub it directly into your skin and pay special attention to bruises and tender areas. Repeat that every time you bathe for a few days and you should reduce the amount of time you're black and blue. And count yourself lucky because it used to smell horrendous. Now it smells like a cherry blossom."
He nodded and once again wrinkled his nose. "Daddy, stop that." Brushing at it for a moment he nodded. "Right. And Malikhai wanting a draithix." Zykariel went quiet for a few moments and then he tilted his neck back so he could see up into his dad's face. "Daddy? Do you still love Mommy? You know in your own way? I mean you can love us both right? And I can love you both?"

"all too true. especially when you egg one on. and I'll kindly let you know that any and all injuries to Isle are of her own free will, so let Lateef know that before I have him trying to butcher me."
Though a frown at his wife.
"I'm fine though. just a dislocated kneecap and a broken nose, both of with I fixed on my own.."
But he knew better than to argue the point right now.
"So what brings you here Kieran? Piper forced me on vacation."
"Broog makes da shinies and makes Tremor's swords and armors pretties."
giving a nod before devouring more cookies and tea.
"Wes met Kieran befores, when he was here wit his lady friend with da bow."

Isle merely let Zahara drag her off and do her whole healer thing. At least Isle was a paitnet who didn't complain about the process or the instructions. Though she did give a chuckle. "It is nice to have someone like you around, though I'm not sure it will do anything too much for my bruising, that can't be helped too much." Giving a stretch and such. "Nice to feel that accomplishing pain...can you do anything abotu the numb feeling though from that aura thing he was doing?"
Piper merely gave Malik that look. "Fine, make a choice...be broken and have no fun and be tied to the bed in the no fun way, or be fixed and perhaps get tied down in the fun way." Giving him a smirk and crossing her arms lightly.
He blinked in a cute fashion listening to all that was going on and then looking at his grandfather. "I like it." Aw look he was being positive wasn't he? Well someone had to like and hey it was just fun to see change for him. But a look at mommy. "Why would you tie daddy to the bed if he was good?"
"It's a game. Don't play it or tie anyone to anything."
Of course he ahd to chuckle at the questions of children and the answers thier mothers gave. "Yes...after all it's so hard to reach around and pulls though out by yourself." Turning his attention to Malikhai a moment. "At least someone does." Giving a chuckle and adjusting his hold on the boy before looking between Malik and Piper, they were still going at it. How nostalgic. "Forced vacation hm? Want to switch responsibilites. I'm forced from vacations." Rolling his eyes lightly. "Snatch of free time and guilt? About time for a visit anyway...and well, me and Mahlari need to be as far as possible from each other for a day or two...that's hard to do when you're practically next door neighbors. And Lharika of course."
He blinked at his son's question. Well that was one now wasn't there? At least teh child was horribly specific because that made this all a little easier to handle, process, and answer. "Yes...in my own way and when she's not being mean and such. Don't you worry, there's enough love to go around and no one is going to lack. Especially you." Ruffling the boy's hair.

"Oh it will. Special salve concocted by yours truly. Guaranteed to reduce your bruising and the tenderness by half time. Which is good, especially for someone with as pale skin as yours. This stuff has saved me more than once in my life," she said nodding to the jar. She listened to Isle for a moment and then shook her head. "Unfortunately, no. Malik's aura is a magical ailment which I can't heal. You'll just have to wait for it wear off the way overeager mages wait for the numbness from excess to wear off. It will, just give it time." She patted Isle's shoulder and then glanced up at Malik. "You're next Mr. Rough and Tumble. Come on, I don't have all day and I need you to be fit and on her good side so her headaches dont' come back. Healers orders, remember?"
"Oh good. I'm glad." He gave a yawn adn closed his eyes. "And with so much love to go around, she'll eventually learn how to take and give it herself. And hten everything will be nice and clean."
Lharika nodded. "That's my Daddy Kieran. He found me when I was little and let me come live with him. He even made me a princess." She grinned happily. "It's a like a fairy tale come true." Thus dishing out more cookies and tea, absolutely delighted that Broog was having a good time. "Can I see what you've done?"

"How true are those words." He said with a small chuckle and he smiled a little when Kieran commented about the whole Malik taking a vacation thing. "Well it's been stretch of time for me as well." He said and smiled lightly and sighed as he looked up to see Zahara and Isle, sometimes he worried about what they may talk about and hopefully they wouldn't talk about him too much.
