[Tommy; Cory .:. Hook's Ship .:. Deck]
Tommy dismissed Saba and returned to his civilian clothing, catching Kyle's suggestion to Nich. He was right, after all. They were there to negotiate the return of Kyla, not to fight. Only under the terms that Cory absolutely refused to let Kyla go would Tommy resort to violence, as he was not about to leave the ship empty handed.
Cory's demeanor changed drastically after having let loose the Engine Force. Even at his age, it always helped to relieve stress through physical means. The Revblade rumbled softly in Cory's hand, his eyes focusing on the two newcomers as he scanned their clothing. He remained silent for a moment, his paranoid thoughts finally slowing to a halt before he said, "Talk? There can be no talking with the company you bring. They would only serve to interrupt me at every turn, 'correcting' me with their own views. They would have you believe I am an enemy to the Earth's resurrection, but that is not the case. I am an enemy to losing this world and to their hasty actions. Without even doing their own research, they blindly follow the orders of a pair of royal rodents."
He pointed the sword at the two who approached him, Indomitable Will burning around him as he said, "Besides that, I've no doubt Kyla relayed what I had said already... Through those charms, right? That kind of magic would likely need some kind of medium, since no words were spoken to activate it. Even now, it is possible for you to discuss plans for how to deal with me... Which does nothing for my paranoia. Remove them."
Cory's eyes darted to Kichi and Kyla, then back to Alan and Kyle before saying, "That girl owes me a debt. Sometime in the future, I will collect. On that you can be sure. Unless..." The ronin thought for a moment before grinning. He lowered the Revblade as the Indomitable Will vanished, staring at both Kyle and Alan. A ring of blue and black fire suddenly surrounded the two newer Earthlings and Cory.
"You were to make a bet and win her day from me."

[Kyla: Hooks Ship : Deck >Edge > Mid Air]
Sometimes one stands ont he edge of a knife between two personal life changing decitions. One one side, Kyla was teetering on casting back the life line she'd been thrown days ago. She could forgo all she had learned, and only trust in herself. Forget all the words, her first hug, her new friends and follow her path ona solo road. It wasn't impossible, difficult, but not impossible. If Riku could do it- On the other side, she could wait through those agonizing seconds of uncertanty until calamity came in whatever form for her.. or her friends would finally come.
From one moment to the next, the probability of one over the other shifted in intensity. Then with a climatic entry, Kichi appeared. Gliding from the entry way that opened on the edge of her peripheral vision. He arrived and stood below her on the stable smooth deck looking up at her just as she regained her composure, but his presence, and the tone of his voice told her he had been here perhaps long enough to know she didn't look so confidant meer miliseconds before.
"We're here." Those words sounded much more comforting then their duration gave them. It ment much more to her then a simple clarification of positioning from one location to the next. They had come in spite of all the snasty voices inside telling her she was waisting her time, urging her to jump and flee on her own into the unknown. "Kichi..." When he held out his hand and repeated that statement again, Kyla flashed between two or three images. Kichi had not been the only person who had reached out their hand to her in a similar gesture. We- They were here. "-you guys came after all."
True to those words, following through the opening was Seymour. He stepped out with a slow and unrushed gate. Their eyes met, and for an incredable moment, Kyla was very happy to see him too. Was insanity rubbing off? Not really. For the time being Kyla must've somehow be written in his agenda as a positive factor to keep. Yes. The kamikaze idealist. At least Kyla understood that much about him. For as long as you were useful to him, Seymours support was an asset.
Will wonders never cease?
Nope, more followed, and Kyla reached to accept Kichi's hand. When Cory attacked!
Not a moment sooner when Kyla's hand clasp Kichi's, did the Engine Force hit her dead on. Not like she didn't suspect he'd follow through, but when people started coming, and his attention turned to their entry, she made the mistake of not keeping the worse case senario as a factor. The engine force sliced her open across the front and pushed her backwards off the side of the ship. However, she had still held fast to Kichi's hand, pain reflex- clentching. So she blew in the wind like a kite in the air. Her Float keeping her from plummeting to her death.
The wound felt deep, but thankfully, Alan had casted Regen. Even as the pain made her gasp ans sear down her front, she could feel the wound healing. Slowly knitting itself together.
At least her mind was back in the game, funny things about pain. It knocks all the emotional angst aside and made room for the practical and present! Kyla was back, completly focused. Perhaps it wasn't a good thing pain triggered such reactions in a person, but darnit- it worked in these cases!
Pain = Problem = Solve it! By then as she dangled in the air, she could see Kyle, Nick, Alan,...err.. some girl she'd never seen before, and whats he thought was Axel- in the door way giving a salute and closing the opening behind them.

[Kichi :: Hooks Ship :: Deck -> Hanging onto edge]
Kichi was, unfortunately, not fast enough to catch the engine force with a tonfa, and watched in horror as it hit Kyla head-on. As she went over, she nearly dragged him off as well. Thankfully she cast float as Kichi also tightened his grip on her arm. He was halfway over the edge, but still enough on to see that she was okay, and her wound was healing. 'A regen spell? Either way, leaving her hanging will only make it worse.' He yelled out to her. "Kyla, grab on with both hands, I'm pulling you up!" He said. He would wait until she had both hands on his own, before giving her a quick warning of "One, two, THREE!" and hoisting her up a little bit. He repeated it a couple times, until she was back up on the deck. He saw Cory Challenge Alan and Kyle to the Duel. "Crap...don't do anything rash guys!" He said before sweeping Kyla off her feet, and gliding back towards the Dark Portal. "Is the pain too bad? I have a potion in my right jacket pocket...if you want to grab it." he said quietly to Kyla, as they approached the portal.

[Alan :: Hook's Ship :: Deck]
Alan was determinedly unfazed by the environment, refusing to take an aggressive posture despite Cory's challenge and demeanor. He grabbed his charm, held it at armslength, and calmly let it fall. If the charms bothered Cory, he had nothing to hide. "I might take you up on that bet. First, though, I would like to understand why your groups are such bitter enemies. As you said, I only heard the other side's point of view. If you object to their presence . . . shall we go below decks?" He stole a glance at Jon and Kyla. They seemed to be doing okay, thankfully. He'd need to talk to Kyla if this was to go anywhere. It was her future they were arguing about, after all.
From everything Alan had seen, the only reason these groups were fighting was old grudges better forgotten. It had nothing to do with goals or ideology anymore. If only he could get them to realize it, he might be able to defuse this whole bloody situation.

{Kyle : Angel Grove : Hook's Ship}
"And what makes you so damn special that you feel that you can shoot whoever you want? Hmm? Guess what, you aren't special. I don't really give a damn about what you have to say. You're only f****** up these negotiations. Cory himself admitted that if we were away from everyone else, he would talk with us. So how about you put your gun away, because nobody needs a trigger-happy idiot!" He said to Nick, his voice burning with intensity. He wasn't any better than a school bully. Dealing with all threats with brute force. God, what an idiot. Couldn't he learn a little tact?
Shaking his head, Kyle watched as Alan dropped his charm. While he planned to take it off as well, he wasn't going to just drop it on the floor and leave it. They were rather valuable, to say the least. Kneeling down, he picked up Alan's charm, and took off his own, showing it to Cory before he spoke up to Kichi. "Kichi. Would you mind holding on to these? Also, I asked Axel to open the portal to the ship again if something like what Kyla did before happened. Seymour probably wouldn't mind doing something to that effect so that Kyla can have a short break on her mana." He said to him, followed by a glance to Seymour. It couldn't possibly trouble the Maester to send up something magical. He had plenty of mana.
After the glance, he looked back to Kichi before tossing the charms, one at a time and giving Kichi plenty of time to catch them. They would be safe with him. "So are Alan's terms agreeable Cory? We've removed our charms, shown that we do not desire to fight with you. We only wish to talk. We can talk wherever is most comfortable for you."

[Tommy; Cory .:. Hook's Ship .:. Deck]
Cory couldn't help himself as he pointed and laughed at Nich, adding, "Haha, you got scolded by a guy in a top hat."
He turned his attention back to Kyle and Alan, the ring of blue and black fire vanishing as he said with a grin, "I dunno. I'm not a very agreeable person. Tolerable, yeah. Probably very tolerable. As for the presence of the others... Well, I don't particularly care for them. Especially the zombie."
Cory opened up a dark portal leading back to the Red Rose before saying, "Anyone who isn't wearing a top hat or wielding reading material as a weapon can kindly get the **** off my ship. And take the Pictomancer with you, it's obvious that I can't get her help without a massive dose of pity, anyway."
Tommy clenched his fists as Cory demanded they all leave, not liking the situation at all. How could they leave their allies here like this? It was obviously some kind of trap, and they were just letting Alan and Kyle walk right into it!

[ Seymour ; Hook : Angel Grove : Hook's Flying Ship ]
"YOUR ship? You mean get off my ship, you scoundrel!" Hook shouted from the upper deck, near the wheel of the ship. However, one look at the group and he immediately recoiled out of sight; he knew his limits. Facing the that lot was beyond them.
"No," Seymour said plainly, as if the answer were as obvious as the sunlight above them. His face remained somewhat amused at the situation; he'd been tempted to shatter the Indomitable Barrier that surrounded Alan, Kyle, and Cory, but decided against it.
"If Kyle and Alan are to stay aboard, then Axel and myself should, at the least, remain. If they decide to leave, then Axel can transport us back," he stated; this was no negotiation, as far as he was concerned. "If they decide to stay, then Axel and myself will leave. Insurance, if you will."

[John.:Angel Grove:.Outside the Red Rose]
"Look," John said slightly frustrated with what was happening, "he may be helping us now, but that doesn't mean that he isn't using this moment in time to stab us in the back later. I never played FFX, but I know enough about it to realize that this man is nuts, off his rocker, I don't know how I can prove anything, but thus far, everything I have seen has fit the personality perfectly. Jafar, Kurt Zisa, whatever bad guy you throw at me, they have ALL had evil intentions... I'm just saying, please watch your back... and..."
John trailed off slightly and thought to himself. A small tear began to form, but slowly he began to relax himself.
"I just don't want you to die alright...? Your the only friend I've got right now..."
