I'm surprised your character, Chris, didn't make notice of a lot of flames coming out of the clocktower in Durem.
Isn't that like one of the highest buildings there?

Paid no attention to it actually. Things that can be dismissed on your RP taking place at a different time than mine. That and Reinhart's not a superhero who'll rush to save people from a burning building. xp

Haha. Alright, I wasn't doing anything villanious.
Just thought it was something noticable, but that time thing works for me.
Btw... AI going hand to hand against someone with a big sword... h X c.

My char. deals in hand to hand most of the time too no matter what weapon the opponent's using. Of course that all comes to a screeching halt when he needs to totally disable the person. When that happens it's all blades but still short range.

I need to learn the Levi' way of hand to hand.
The way I learned is kinda boring and not really worth doing.
Otherwise... I'm more of a blades person, dual style. I've always been best with weapons. Typically one short range and the other long range.

Short range for me mostly unless it's a sword or some sort though you wouldn't catch me using a spear or pole or whatever. Of course if that was the only thing laying around and I was disarmed then I'd make an exception.
I used to use a sword but IC it's broken now and honestly I'm better with hand ot hand anyway. My char. has blades that spring from under his sleeve (if he has sleeves) over and past the back of his hand and fingers. Great for close range and makes him dangerous when throwing punches. 3nodding

-snuggles Cris- allo' luv. How've you been?
Kichi - I'm generally a dualist. Magick is fun but I try not to use it unless my opponent starts lobbing spells and shite my way. Hand to hand is cool, but I'm better with describing sword work 3nodding

Kinda like Katars?
I'd like to have some hand to hand matches with you, maybe teach me a thing of what a skilled and entertaining fight looks like.
I use to think I was good, but then I realized how paranoid of taking a hit I seemed and how much countering I did sort of ruined the look of the fight.
Otherwise, I use two tanto (short knives) or a katana and wakazashi. I usually have the wakazashi in reverse grip so its just against the arm and rather short range.
I've never really tried a spear or staff online RPing, only table top.
Edit: @Sierra. Do you use two swords as well? I find that a lot of swordsmen trip up when trying to use two blades. I like combining my powers with my swordsman ship though, just because it adds special effects.
But a good 'ol clash of blades with sparks flying is fun too.

Sierra: Been good luff, anxious thanks to HoH aside from that, good. How about you?
Oda: Kinda, only he's not holding them in his hands, they're more like mounted on his forearms. Best way to describe them I suppose, aside from them being slender like the blade of a normal sword.
Nothing Cloud Strife like. xd
That'd be fun I think, it would give me a little practice before HoH and get my gears going since I haven't fought lately. Taking hits and countering when it counts is what makes a good fight, of course landing some good hooks is awesome too.
You sound a bit like someone I fought once, weapon preference I mean, it was a good fight. 3nodding
