:::She put her hand on her hip, and waved the other one:::
I was afraid you were only accepting this place because of your fever, but now that you're well, it seems like you're still convinced of the reality...
:::For some reason the word 'reality' made Cora want to tell Dafyd about the Seraphim, and the danger facing him and all the others who appeared in the Brink but she thought it would be unkind to put threat in the air so soon for him... was that wrong of her? She shook her head and changed the subject:::
I read about your King Urien. I believe you're the 'earliest' person I've ever met here. :::looking at Bard::: Something like 500 A.D...?
:::Then back at Dafyd for confirmation:::

*Bard perks up at the mention of Urien's name. He hadn't gotten to hear the details of Syr Dafyd's origin, but the name Urien certainly speaks volumes.*

*Dafyd smiles* How can I disbelieve? My eyes behold your fairness, my ears are blessed with the sound of your voice. I smell and taste this wine before me, and...
*Dafyd pounds on the top of the bar loudly*
The whole thing feels real enough.
*Dafyd smiles* As for my time, you're close enough. When might you be from?

:::She was smiling pleasantly... up until he asked when she was from:::
I-... :::in all honesty, Cora hadn't thought of what she'd tell someone who asked her that. She supposed it was best to give it to him straight:::
I started... a little over 2500 years after you, but now I- I live here.

*It takes a moment for this to register with Bard* Cora... what you mean you live here?

:::She looks over at Bard... her expression, unsure:::
I never told you...? :::Then she seemed a bit uneasy... she looked between the two men and decided she would explain it to both of them:::
The Captain said he forsaw something terrible happening to me, that the people of Omegatropolis were going to... well they were going to find out about me coming here.
I stopped showing up there. I stopped going back to my time... because I was in danger there. The Captain said I could never go back and now... I live here. I haven't been back to my time in over a year... according to the length of my hair.
:::She sort of muses to herself about it::: although now y'know it isn't growing as fast I think... hard to tell.

*Bard is stunned* Cora... that's incredible... I...
... and Tavin told you all this? Did he... fix things... somehow?

*Dafyd listens to her story with interest. This is the second time the bard has mentioned the name "Tafyn." He makes mental note of that*

I don't know what you mean by fix things... All I know is I'm here. And I have no where to go home to.

That seems awfully...peculiar... *Bard chews his lip, lost in thought*
*At last, he looks up at Cora* I'm very glad you're safe though.

*Bard turns and notices Dafyd is gone. Back to 500 A.D., or wherever he was from. King Urien...*
Cora... have you ever read the stories of King Arthur?

:::She nods:::
I just reread some of the legends after meeting Dafyd... King Urien was from around the same time, though his actual existance is less of an enigma according to the things I've read.

*Bard nods* I suppose even the most fanciful legends contain some element of truth. I wonder... *however, he fades out before he finishes his thought*
**Exit Bard**
