Fenrir Graveheart Ana Helios Ugh...watched the SC matchup...why are they so terrible at it? I do way better than them on a daily basis. .....no you don't. >.> You, who has told me that you're not a big fighter gamer, do not get to even TRY to boast that you're better than a grand finalist at evo. Don't even TRY son! The Soul Calibur 5 matchup wasn't very entertaining though. I was surprised to see a Tira player win it. Seeing how great I am with Nightmare and Devil JIn's style when i borrow it for a day, Im pretty sure that if you gave me at least a month with the game I'd be up to par with those people. Considering I noticed one used a grab from the get go. Mortal Kombat...Forget it im not even gonna attempt to get good at that game. I tried and broke my controller once. :l

Tell me...is anyone else noticing a change in taste in music as they grow older. Okay, maybe "change, isn't the right word, more like...an "evolution" in taste. When I was younger, I usually listened to extremely loud, and extremely fast rock music. I hated anything slow, especially rock ballads. But now at age 20, I find my taste in music has drastically evolved...songs I never liked in the past, I can appreciate now. I actually just started to think about this when I was listening to a band called Digital Daggers...a dark electronic rock/pop band with a female lead, a band that I would have normally hated...but absolutely love now. In fact...I have noticed that for one reason or another, I now prefer female leads rather than male leads...even in metal bands (unless its growling Death Metal...there are definitely good female singers in that genre but men are obviously more suited for singing in such a way...). Nothing really thought provoking here....but I find it kinda interesting on how your viewpoints on certain things can change with time without the intervention of certain events that force such a change. It just sort of happens.

It's because you can relate more to the songs and you search out songs you can relate to. As you grow your experiences change you and your tastes. And to fit those changes, your music preferences evolve with you. Even if you don't notice. That is this girl's theory.

I wonder...does anyone else but me do this? Ever since I was young, I always have paced my room like a caged tiger. Not out of anxiety, or stress...but because I want to. I take my MP3, pop them into my ear, and pace away. For one..I get lost in the music easier that way...and I found that with the combination of walking back and forth and music, I can think much better...my thoughts become organized..and ultimately..I feel at peace.
Is this something any of you do? Or am I the only one. Never thought I was weird because of it...but I did think it wasn't an ordinary quirk either.

Or I move my feet to a beat. That helps me organize my thoughts.

Could never keep still....Found that moving around was the best way to focus. I don't have it anymore...but it seems that a remnant of that point of my life has decided to follow me to present day...I got no qualms with it though...I rather enjoy walking the hours away listening to music.
