Thanks ananda, I stole it off another gaming site. I like that word "marginalize" - cos getting in word wars and expressing dissatisfaction with a certain type of e-personality is exactly what they crave...

Yep. I've seen the same problems with trolls in the GD. Instead of ignoring them, eveyone's too busy giving them exactly what they want by telling them how much they hate them. rolleyes

Yeah... biiiiig life change. It was a pretty sudden decision too. My entire family was surprised when I told them I was interested in joining the National Guard.
Marginalize sounds like a fun word... although prior to this convo I wasn't aware it even was a word.

It's a noble career, I wish you the best.
The GD has been ruined by people with opinions about OPs, instead of topics. It's filled with tiny little personalities with huge egos. I do find the odd post in there that is actually discussion worthy, rather than aggrandizing, but they get buried in a sea of "notice me" kids. Ugh.
Marginalize is a popular word in Canada. Since we have sooooooooo many "distinct societies", some of them don't get the attention, funding, etc. that they think they deserve, so they scream about being marginalized, and everyone trips over themselves to rectify the situation. It makes me puke. rofl

I gave up on the GD once I was invited into the AoG. It's too much of the same thing with people talking themselves into circles with their pointless arguments and unreasonably stupid way of blinding themselves from having an open mind.

Yep. Especially when there's no one in the guild. I've been playing WOrd Bump too. I've gotten a lot better at it. I can get up to around level 52 now.

Nice. I love that game. It kind of sucks that they dropped the gold gains though. I used to be able to make 1.6k a game, now I'm around 600 a game. sad .... Not including items or credits of course.

Yeah, the lower gold gains suck. But its still a fun way to make a little gold. Its more fun than bumping. biggrin
Have you ever gotten any decent items? All I ever get is stuff from the starter sets. xp

Sorry for the really late reply.. I had to go start a load of laundry.
Mostly I've gotten starter clothing, but once I got the "Makeshift Shelving" which is worth a whooping 20g... sweatdrop

Yeah, that much is true. I just vend it to an NPC though, the stuff that price isn't really worth trying to MP.
