You must be refering to the natural reproduction humans of your time took part in. Yes, they explained the process to us in bio-histroy. Where the male and female body join at the genital area. The male enseminates the female, and depending on whether she is ovulating, she will either become pregnant or she will not.
This method was proven quite innefficient. We no longer risk diseases between partners, or genetic defects and unwanted heretical traits in the offspring, since we no longer copulate naturally. It is all done invetruviously in my time. Not to mention the woman needing to endure such a painful carriage! The offspring in my time are incubated.

Pleasurable?! :::Cora was suprised::: Indeed, I did not recieve that notion at all! The breaking of the hymen, the carrying of the child, that was all very painful as I read. Not to mention the diseases that once existed! Horrible! How could anyone find pleasure in this?
