Damian started to gently rub Mina's back, helping her relax. "Since I clearly neglected to tell you about my grandparents, what about your family?"
Kai woke up again later, but this time not out of nausea. She sat up, Hakaru still in fox form and in her arms. Gently, she put the little fox down by the pillow and got out of bed. she found a bathing suit and a towel, changed, then slipped quietly out of the cabin. She headed down the beach until she reached the shore line. She put her towel on the beach and waded out into the water before transforming and diving deeper under the water.

Mina smiled nervously. "You'll meet them soon enough. They're coming for the winter holidays." she said, going back to relaxing.
Hakaru laid on the pillow for a while longer before noticing the missing warmth. He yawned and got up, going outside to find a towel out on the beach. Kai must have gone for a swim or something. The fox went back inside and returned to human form. The prince slipped on some trunks and grabbed his own towel. He laid it out next to Kai's and decided to sunbathe until she got back.

Damian raised his eyebrow and just kept rubbing his fiancee's back. He looked up at the sky and sat up a bit, holding her in his lap. "It's about lunch time," he pointed out.
Kai just swam around the area near the beach, not really wanted to go far. She'd just wanted to clear her head and think for a bit. She rested on a coral reef, curling her fins into the sand of the bottom of the ocean and tossing the sand up into the water over and over. She looked down, then back up at the top of the water. The sun was shining right down through the waves that day, so she had to squint to look up. She sighed and after a little longer, finally swam back to shore. She saw Hakaru laying on his own towel and she transformed back into a human once the water was knee-deep, dropping down on her towel and twisting her long hair to wring out some of the water. [OOC:] I might be heading to bed soon, but might not. *_* I'm pooped.

Mina yawned a little, nestling close to Damian. "Sorry. I haven't fixed lunch yet..." she mumbled, going right to sleep.
Hakaru sat up when he heard Kai exit the water. He smiled some, watching her sit beside him and wring out her hair. "Have a nice swim, love?" he asked, leaning over and kissing her cheek.

Damian tilted his head a little, and watched as Mina just fell asleep. Carefully, so as not to disturb her, he picked her up and carried her back into the castle to her bedroom. He tucked her into her bed and crawled in with her, wrapping his arms around her waist and resting his tail across her hip. He tucked his chin over the top of her head and just lay there, not quite asleep, but resting.
Kai nodded with a small smile and tossed her damp hair over her shoulder, turning to face Hakaru. "I definitely feel better," she said. Maybe she'd just had an upset stomach or something, she thought to herself. Maybe it wasn't what they thought it was.

Mina smiled softly in her sleep as he tucked her in. She nestled into his arms, gently stroking his tail as she slept peacefully.
Hakaru nodded some and pulled her over to him, not minding if she was still damp from the ocean. He rested his chin on the top of ehr head, wrapping his arms around her waist and cuddled with her.

Kai wrapped her arms around Hakaru's neck, resting her cheek against his chest and listening to his heartbeat. She closed her eyes and smiled a little. Then again... As long as she was with Hakaru, she thought she could do anything.

Hakaru smiled and stroked Kai's hair softly. He nuzzled her hair softly, sighing contently. The fox's hand went from her hair to her back, rubbing softly as he pulled a towel over her as a blanket.

Kai looked over her shoulder, opening her eyes and staring at the waves as the tide started to come in. She continued to watch the waves as she cuddled with Hakaru, just listening to him breath.

Hakaru smiled and watched the tide with her. He silently yawned and cuddled up against her, deciding a nap was in great need. "I love you, Kai. More than life itself."

Kai smiled and ran a hand over Hakaru's bangs, pushing them back from his forehead so she could kiss him there. "Aloha au 'oe," she responded. She kept playing with his hair, the smile on her face never leaving. She would have added something on as well, but she didn't know what to say. The mermaid knew that Hakaru loved her, and she knew that he loved her as well.

Hakari had fallen asleep, cuddling Kai. He smiled some in his sleep when she played with his bangs and hair. He liked his hair played with. Especially by Kai. He smiled even more, feeling her kiss his forehead. This seemed so perfect for them. He wished nothing would disturb them.

Kai adjusted a little so that both she and Hakaru were more comfortable as they cuddled. Softly, she started to sing in her native language, something she hadn't done in years. It seemed that everything was changing now that she and Hakaru were engaged. [OOC:] Was that a cue for something catastrophic to happen?

Hakaru heard his love begin to sing. So long he had not heard her sing. It was gorgeous. Her voice was as smooth as silk, and he treasured her as such. The fox returned to being awake, but just relaxed with her, nuzzling her hair softly.

[OOC:] Any ideas? I'm starting to run low... Kai didn't realize Hakaru was awake, so she kept singing softly. Her hands were carefully undoing the knots in his hair as she did so. She loved feeling the warmth of her fiancee.
