I know how that feels, I'm doing the same, though I really shouldn't. Ton of homework to do.

Hehe, that makes two of us. I've got a weeks worth of Lesson Planning due for work on Monday and just can't seem to bring myself to do it. I'm such a procrastinator. redface

there is nothing wrong with procrastinators. I'm sure deep down that everyone is a little bit of a one.

I work as a Preschool with two-year olds. The Preschool where I work requires detailed, theme related Lesson Plans. Which I'm glad for. I like working somewhere that sees us more as teachers than babysitters. But Lesson Planning is a pain in the a**. xp

I did things like that when I was in Child developement. I loved it. It made me want to be a teacher, and then college made me indecisive.

Yeah, I usually like coming up with ideas for cool activities. My problem is how detailed the Lesson Plans have to be. There are so many picky little things you have to get "just right". Plus, this last week that I'm working on is a pain. I have to come up with a week's worth of activities (10 activities. 5 for art/sensory and 5 for fine motor) on the theme of "balls". I mean, a few activites would be alright, but a week?! Blegh.

Ooooh, maybe i could hit you up for some tips one day, Ananda. I was thinking of substitute teaching.

PS.. do you guys have books to give you suggestions for lesson plans and the like?

Well, there's a book my Preschool made that has some Lesson Plan examples in it. But nothing to help with this theme. sad There are boks out there, but where I work doesn't have any. I usually look up a couple od sites online for ideas.

In my free time I'm lisening to Stephen Kings new audio book Cell. One of my friends said she is almost terrified to use her cell phone now! On Sunday I'm taking Gwen and a couple friend to see Monster House or John Tucker must die.
Cell was decent, I think Steven King has better books out there. Though I can't get into audio books very well. And Monster House, is really cute, expecially if in your area they have a 3-D version of it.

I love audio books if read by the right person. I put on my head phones and go to work or even around the house doing chores. I enjoy it. Nobody talks to me! LOL! I liked Stephen Kings Dark Tower Books. I collected all of them in hard back.
We are planning on going to the 3D Monster House. I hope we can get a seat! I heard it was great!
