Janani's small wings flutter, slightly. McColn. She doesn't believe she'd heard that before, and it'll certainly help out. She stops near Luana. Hopefully...Cora could calm down a bit. She sighs as she turns so she can have all three in her field of view. Then she realizes something! She hadn't properly introduced herself to Alex!
Oh!
She turns her full attention to Alex.
Pardon my rudeness! And after studying human etiquette...for Cora and the others...

Janani smiles. Maybe Alex would be nice to her. That was good... She only hopes Cora would change, soon. Then she tilts her head at Luana's question and Alex's response...
I think he, and his mother of course, are what are called Neko or cat people by the Terrans...
Janani didn't seem surprised or put-off by the ears or tail, whatsoever. In fact, she seemed to take it as if she'd seen it before. The only thing bothering her was how Cora is treating her.

Janani gives Alex a curious look. What did he mean by that? She shakes her head, not having the imagination to think about it. In anycase, things were...oddly calmer. She couldn't place it. Then she sees Cora's look... Nevermind. Janani's eyes are immediately downcast. Somebody obviously both bigger and stronger than her acting either afraid or ashamed? Well, Janani heard Mystina say several times she didn't have anything to be ashamed of. Still... Then she tries to take her mind off it.
Luana... How are things, anyway?
