KittySue67 Hello All! Funny conversation. I am the Housekeeper! I hate it, but its really great pay! I cleaned a studio apt today in less than an hour and the girl gave me fifty bucks! Then sent me home with unopened groceries they didn't want to travel home with! So is $50 about average for a studio? That's what we have. Or is more about the time spent than the size of the apt?

hell, yeah! 50 bucks for half an hours work is great pay. That's 100 bucks an hour!!!

I charge different people different amounts. I usually try to workit where I make at least $25.00 an hour. Sometimes it works out to be a lot more depending on how bad it is. I do this one ladys home every week and so It doesn't have time to get bad. I only do what I call a surface clean. No laundry or windows. I can get it done in about 3 hours and she pays me $100.00. Its just the condos that I do laundry, sheets and towels. And they are so sandy! I charge $100.00 for them and sometimes they take two hours and sometimes on a bad day 4. SO..... I can't complain! My daughter helps me and I give her a cut.

The sad part is my condos don't do anything in the winter. We get our Snowbirds and they don't want any help. That's why I'm looking for more residentials. The problem for me is I hate clutter and a lot of people have a lot of stuff!

I'm somewhat a neat freak. I guess thats why this job is good for me! LOL.
Everything has to be nice and neat! I am a perfessional organizer! Maybe you saw me on the TV show Clean Sweep! Just kidding!

I stay nervous if things aren't done. It is very overwhelming to me to be unorganized. If my husband calls me wondering where something is I can tell him down to the exact spot. Me and my husband are total opposites.
I can't go in his garage it is such a mess! I have angziety( can't spell) attatcks in there.
