:::Cora found it to be the most amazing thing about emotions... she wondered if she was making up for the years she spent lacking them, but when she thought she couldn't feel anything further any longer, it all came rushing back:::

She feels the stare. She knows the hatred in it... Why did it have to be this way?! Cora didn't understand... After clenching her eyes shut, she tries to hold back a single tear, but, as she looks at the two, that same tear she tries to force back is coming down her cheek.
They wouldn't... They can't murder...
Not unless they actually have gone against Heaven, she whispers in her mind.
Heaven's like... Heaven's like Mystina explained the Brink is to you, Cora... That's why I was trying to improve my...my human etiquette for when I come here...

Janani blinks, sudden realization one could say. That means... The Seraphim was defending himself, the specific one she fought anyway. Still... The Seraphim are so powerful...any one of them could fight and hold off a human without killing... Her next words are talking to herself...
Then was she more than human? Even if a Seraphim defends himself, he could handle a human without killing... Still...it can't be murder if he was defending himself... So...are these Seraphim those of the Brink fear with or against Heaven... Without knowing...I can't make any decision...
She straightens up and watches Cora and Alex. They certainly seem close. Still, Cora had completely ignored her... Janani wonders if it'd even be worth elarning the etiquette... She, though, recalls that she's doing this for Cora, to try to get her to stop...stop hating!

He kidnapped my best friend and that swordswoman, to that nothing place, that endless gray, :::her voice cracked as she recalled the empty lifeless feeling that existed there:::
...where he demanded she fight on his side, and she refused, like any noble person would have... and he snapped her ******** neck! I saw the body! She was cold, and her head...

*Alex took a step back as Cora exploded. He knew that this was about as bad a bit of news as could possibly be, but at the same time.... He put his hands on Cora's shoulders again and gave Janani an apologetic look*

Janani gasps and takes a step back. It's obvious that she could, in all honesty, overpower Cora if she wanted. Still, she, obviously, doesn't appear to want to. She hugs her WhiteRose closer to her chest in a desperate plea with her mind to think like more than the child she is! The problem is...that just... That just...
That doesn't sound like the Seraphim I've heard about...
In anycase, she shakes her head.
I don't have a mind for the Seraphim. They are stronger than any Shard, true, but the Archangels are before them and GOD over all. If any Seraphim are doing something against Heaven...
She shakes her head. The thought of that is just...beyond her scope of imagining...
I don't know... I just...don't know.
...beyond that...the Seraphim know the ultimate weakness of every Shard.
I'm not defending anyone! I don't know the full circumstance of the incident, and you only know it third-hand... I'm not even sure if an illusion were used, such as Lucifer might. I can't go by this alone!

Cora.... Do we even know The Seraphim IS the same Seraphim as Janani's Seraphim? Janani, have you ever seen The Seraphim?

Janani looks at Alex. Though she doesn't know his name, his relationship with Cora makes her question how friendly he could remain towards her...
No. I've never seen one of the great Seraphim.

Janani sighs...
Unlike the Archangel ranks, there are innumerable Seraphim. Only the Archangels and GOD can count them.
Although, she recognizes that could be an exageration that has perpetuated within the 'ranks' of her Elders.
Beyond that, one thing that Lucifer and his demons specialize in is tricking humans, and other Terrans.
Janani also has to admit, to herself, that the human woman could have been an unexpected casualty to fulfilling GOD's orders. It seems unlikely...considering how overwhelmingly powerful Seraphim are.
