WATER GUN RACE
Progress: 9/20 (LOSER) Opponent: Simply
Mjoll listed to Simply as she watched the balloon pop. Oh well she lost, her expression just continued to be melancholy and she sighed. Thinking about the words that Simply said about it was easier to be noticed for other good things if you sparkle a bit. "Doesn't help if you try your damnest to excel at what you're good at, and lose sight of what should've probably been important."
She got up from the game booth, and walked back to the bench she'd found to sit on staring back at the hell's bells game with the big stuffed animals.

HELL'S BELLS
Hmmn? Simply leaned forward a bias after a light spin on her heel to stare at the woman. "Important?" She thought a moment, or tried. Then merely laughed, shrugging her shoulders as she stood up straight again. Which didn't help much. "WELL! You have time to do important things too!"[/b If you weren't dead you had plenty of time as far as she was concerned.
"So go do what's important!" There was a pause as the horsewoman's gaze seemed to fall somewhere, pulling Simply's along with. Then another smile. "So that's what the big deal is about? EASY!" That was what she said, but hadn't she just claimed it was broken earlier?
OH WELL! One mallet claim later and the pint sized ghoul was waggling her but slightly before bringing the mallet down as hard as any monster could hope she would on it.
Ding ding? Jack. No.
"Hold. That. Though." She stated, holding up one finger before going at it again.

HELL'S BELLS
And then she hit it again. Because hitting things was important. And fun. And maybe? Ok, obviously the warm up was done.
Because as the mallet came down a second time anyone nearby, including Simply, was probably a bit deaf.
Actually, the ghoul WASN'T smiling for once. She had her hands clamped over her giant sized ears and was wobbling a few steps. "Raaaa-ngadingdaaang?' Ow. Her head hurt. Ow. Ow no more hitting the thing.

Mjoll watched simply as she swung the mallet, failing the first time the horse woman sighed, "Yeah important." She muttered there was a small shrug, "Problem is I don't know what's important anymore."
She shrugged softly, and eventually just laid on the bench. "Is it too much to ask someone to ask someone to pay attention long enough to ask me to be their date to a party?" Maybe if she'd paid attention in return or something? Or had anyone paid attention to her at all....... she didn't even know. All that work to be the best crafter and where did it end her up at? A bundle of questions and remorse.

As soon as the ringing in her head stopped the ghoul blinked a bit and stared at the fellow who was pulling the mallet from her and and grumbling. He pointed to the toys before tucking the rest of the mallets out of her reach.
Jeez. Mean much!
OH WELL! PRIZES! Simply had achieved her success and pranced over to choose one. And oh could she choose. There was a fox! BIT AND FLUFFY AND SOFT AND SQUISHY! "I DUB YOU FWUFFUMS!" Was the happy, shrill little squeak at escaped the ghoul as she grabbed the thing. It was almost as big as she was.
Monster strength helped once again! Then, balancing the thing she waddled over toward Mjoll the proud little thing she was. "I WIN I MADE THE IMPORTANT HAPPEN!" Yep, she'd missed the horsewoman's entire speech. Oh well, not like she'd have to worry. Mjoll was about to find herself smothered in plushie fluff. Because Simply had, rather unceremoniously, dumped the fox plushie on her. "Got it for you, you're happy now right? I'm that awesome!" Fixed everything. Life was solved!

Mjoll hadn't noticed that Simply didn't even hear her speech because when the plushie fluff was dropped on her she caught the fox and stared at it before looking at Simply, tears welling up in her eyes.
She sat up and pulled Simply in so she could give the student a kiss on the cheek before cuddling the plush toy. "Thank you so much." She said rubbing her cheek into it.

Simply was merely sunshine and rainbows. Afterall, she'd done all she set out for and proved a point. Even as she managed to snag a kiss on the cheek in thanks. "See! Told you there was always time!" She stated, a laugh tumbling along with her words as she spoke before lifting a hand to point p. "The only time you can't get what's important is if you don't try." She added, not really knowing what she talking about.
She was merely explaining why she did what she wanted. "So don't be sad, pick it up and get it right!" There was never a reason to give up and cry in her book. "Or you don't get your plushie, you know?" Her tail was wagging a bit at that, giving Mjoll a bit of a tight squeeze back around the doll at that point, and then somehow a second thing was added to the pile. "Oh and this one looks like you."
Hopefully she didn't mind being compared based purely on having blond hair. It was a gift. Enjoy it!

BALLOON POP
Oblivious to many of the social nuances of a high school, Zeek missed the entire point of prom and the celebration surrounding it. Instead, he stumbled across the midway on the way to drop fifty earwax crayons into the wishing well, assumed that it was some sort of fantastic ceremony, and decided that he needed to participate in order to better understand his peers.
The sound of popping balloons attracted him, and he looked down at the copious amount of crayons in his hands....
...and began throwing them at the balloons.

RING TOSS
All of Zeek's crayons were gone, which meant that his offering to the Fortune Glands of the Wishing Well would have to be delayed.
He certainly hoped that it could wait.
Now that he had some free time, though, he had no excuse not to participate in the ceremony like his classmates were. Some of them were throwing some discs...but the discs had a large hole in the center! How incredible!
He picked up one of these hole discs and tried to mimic them.

DUCK POND
The tiny Lord of the Hole Discs had granted Zeek some sort of ceremonial wafer, which tasted absolutely terrible. But he was trying to be polite within this strange culture, so the ticket was sitting on his tongue, slowly getting soggy with inky goop.
He ventured towards another one of the stations, intrigued by the tiny creatures that were shuffling around on a liquid surface. Why were they doing this? Was it some sort of migration?
Curious, he poked at one with one of his tentacles.

DUCK POND
The migratory creature, upon being poked, became very disgruntled. Zeek tried to pull away, mentally preparing an apology for causing disorientation among their formation, but the creature tried to bite him instead.
He leaned in close to the creature, which was slowly moving away from him.
"We have reached equalibrium," he whispered.

BALLOON POP - Intermediate Alex absolutely loved the way Yin smiled when he offered him the stuffed animal. It made his unbeating and likely shriveled up or half rotten heart melt in ways that he was positive nothing else on this world could. It made him happy that after all of their troubles, the weremantis had accepted him back into his life, because with out all of this he was sure he would still have been just as miserable as the day they had broken up. But all that was in the past now, and hardly worth thinking about, lest he spoil the good time he'd been having. He offered Yin a soft smile of his own, all of his unspoken affection more then visible In his one gleaming, green eye, and simply gave another, small nod, understanding that Yin's minipet was likely to have the stuffed animal shredded within days...or possibly a lot shorter then that. Following the other boil now more like a lovesick cluppy then anything else, they came to a halt beside the balloon pop. In the distance, he could hear the music from the Big Top switch to something slow, and he knew he was missing out on the end of the nights festivities within. Oh well, he'd rather be out here with his bonded anyways, even if it meant not getting just one dance out of him that wasn't influenced by a drink. Gathering the darts up into his hands, he began throwing them at the darts, grimacing when he was only able to hit two. He blamed the gloves, he really did. The darts seemed to slip out of his fingers every time he let one go, making them head completely askew of their intended target. Ah well, again, not much to be done about it. He was just proud of Yin for doing so well! Abruptly, the music came to an end, and a voice came on the loud speakers announcing proms end. It was time to wrap up, and Alexander reached down to his pocket watch to check the time. "Ah yes, right on schedule." His voice was hushed, and he clicked the watch closed again with a smile. "You know, you still owe me a dance. A real dance." He leaned in, reaching for Yin's hand before saying. "But I'll settle for walking you back to your dorm room instead...if you would like me to, of course." No reason to be presumptuous, and after he took Yin back, he was going to have to come back himself to help clean up anyways. ramenli hahahaha here I feel bad for not tagging before the end so have giant post~

Uru returned again. Reaching into the pond, he fingers at the ducklings that swam upon it's surface. The one that snapped at him he chose to pick up. Them feisty ones.

The first few throws were good, but the grumbling gnome was a slight distraction. At least, that was what Uru would have said if anyone were about to see and ask about it. Seems like he did just as well as he did the day before. Another ticket in his pocket.

BALLOON POP
Feeling he had sufficiently proved himself with Hell's Bells, he was content with skipping that attraction and move onto the Balloon booth that was nearby. Choosing to do the intermediate level again, he was gonna give it another shot.
