"If you wanted to be his mother then you could keep him. If you didn't want to be his mother, then I would prefer that Malik and Piper take him. That's all I'm saying." Crossing his arms and sitting up in bed, wasn't like he was fooling anyone now was he? And there really was no reason for him to keep pretending.
"Broog could make you a hook." Giving a nod there. Broog could make anything, at least thats what he had been led to believe. "Maybe you could learn to do the sword with me. The real one."
"That's right because sometime women are better in some situations than men too. We're not all helpless."
She shook her head and gave a little snort. "You and your odd ways to relax." But a sigh from her as she decided it wasn't worth it to fight right now because her head just couldn't come up with a decent excuse now could she? Nope, head hurt too much, thought processes were messed up. Thus she opened the door, indicating that she was done yelling at him. "Get out of your armor and go eat breakfast."

Of course it was contingent upon things. It always was. She shook her head and sighed. "You shouldn't be sitting up, you know. Not that you'll listen to me because I don't know, maybe I'm not that great of a healer and I have no idea what I'm talking about, right?" She idly ran a hand through her hair and slanted him the look. "You need to reverie, Sevilin. And you really should count yourself lucky that I don't have anything that could make you. Just stop being stubborn, close your eyes and let your mind drift."
"Yeah he could! I could ask him for you, Zykariel, except you don't really need one, do you? Your arm is going to get better and then you'll be able to hold a sword again without any problem." She moved over to Isle and leaned against her. "Yeah because women are better."
Zykariel nodded, "That's what Miss Piper said and Zara didn't really say. But I guess since all I did was break it, it should go back together okay." He glanced at his friend and shrugged. "I don't think your daddy will let me Malikhai and I'm not really sure my Daddy would let me. Maybe Zara would though..." He got that conspiratorial look and grinned. "Might have to ask her." Then a look at Lharika and he stuck out his tonuge. "Are not! Right Malikhai?"

He gave her that look that told her not to speak to him like he was a child...though eventually sighed, rolled his eyes and sunk down in bed again, crossing his arms over his chest and closing his eyes. If he didn't at least appear to be trying to do what she asked.
"What I can't walk anymore either? You're always on her side when it comes to my health..." Sure it was appreciated but he could be just as bad as Zahara. More than one Malik had babysat her to make sure she didn't go doing things that she was supposed to...much like she did to him. See? They had something in common when it came to getting injured. But she merely sighed in surrender and settled down next to the kids as they munched, and made sure Malik ate as well...and he of course made her eat under the pretense of it being for her health right now.
Malikhai shared his friend's look of consiracy...seeing as they were in cahoots when its came to asking things right now. It was an interesting thing. But a little shrug. "Maybe you'll learn your daddy's pole blade thing." Pole blade thing...wasn't that cute?
Nadai looked at the letter in his hand that he had received a few hours ago and had accompanied the one who brought it back to this place. After all, he had heard of the place, supposedly the Twilight Lands were quite the place...he had just never been there. Hm...fortress, gates, scary looking guards...wow this was going to be fun wasn't it? But this was where Zahara had told him to come...though lucky him, or unlucky him depending upon how you lookd at it. He got lt in past the guards and into the foyer. A look around and the felt the need to run his hand through his hair and straighen his tunic some, brush any dust that clung to the Vesendar blue coloring. And he watched as the one who brought him walked off somewhere...okay...now what?

She watched Sevilin sink down in the bed and sighed. Now he was going to act like a child. She thought better of saying anything to him about it though. That would just be silly. Instead she turned to go check on Piper and see if all was well with her. Waylaid and a message delivered though she headed downstairs. "Nadai, thank you for coming so quickly." Walking up to him with her hands outstretched in the common gestures among elves. "I need your assistance with a very...sensitive matter. Do you think you might be able to help me?" Then a glance around as she remembered that she needed to play hostess. "Can I get you anything to eat or drink? If not then we'll head for the library and I'll tell you why I asked you to come all the way out here."
"Yeah, I could. But learning a sword could be cool too." He shrugged and would have crossed his arms but that was a little hard to do right now. "Well...I'll learn something. Magic here pretty soon, right? Did your daddy say anything about when we can start?"

He tilted his head at her, his hair already falling over one eye in style so it didn't shift too much but he gave a nod and another brush at his tunic. "Sensitive manner? I'm not a very sensitive elf really but I can do my best?" Flashing her one of those dashing smiles of his. But he held up a hand in a declining gesture. "No, I'm good, had lunch before I came over here."
"Just soon." Of course soon could mean today and it could mean tomorrow. When you were three you lacked a concept of time anyway so 'soon' was a good enough answer now wasn't it? Of course it was. At this point, laying on his tummy and watching his new pet eat nuts in a very cute manner.

She merely inclined her head as well. "That's good enough for me. Besides, you are the best man for this little situation." She smiled and led him into the library then gestured to the couch so he could take a seat before leaning against the shelves. "It has to do with Vesendar actually. One of the residents here was attacked today by those he claims were from Vesendar. And as I'm sure you have already guessed, Lord D'vinn is a trifle up in arms about it. Actually, he's threatening to raze Vesendar to the ground. Do you know anything about this? Have any women or men been bragging about downing a male drow?" She tapped her foot. "I saw three women in the front yard with Malik but I seem to remember Sevilin mentioning something about there being five. Can you add anything or shed some light? Metaphorically speaking of course."

Arthur blinked a few times as the little children went off talking back and for between each other about pirates and how's better and all the other things that went along with it, and to the older elf he found it really amusing to see them go at it with such spirits. A small chuckle came from him as he watched the little elves and shook his head. "To be that young...they act like they have the whole world in their hands..." He muttered quietly and sighed softly, sometimes Arthur wished he could be that young again but if he was he wouldn't be able to be with someone like Isle so he was happy where he was. "You think that since we are grown up we may be better since we know a lot more and can so much..." He was talking to Isle now even though he was watching the little kids. "But really they have it the best...they don't know the pressure they'll get from being a grown up, they take what freedom they have and run with it which is so cute..." A light grin was now on his face as he crossed his arms a bit. "They are so lucky."

Nadai rolled his eyes up as if to look into his brain itself and pull an answer from it, hands still nervously playing with his tunic a little bit. After all, it seemed someone had gotten Vesendar in trouble...with here of all places to get in trouble with. "Well...there's always your group or two of trouble makers...I haven't heard any bragging lately. A few sounting parties did come back today, one seemed a bit frazzled. And I know Mira is upset about something though she wouldn't say what when asked. Of course this is all kinda hearsay from me, understand." Though he had a nervous look. "Um, who was attacked?" Please don't be a D'vinn themselves, oh please please please."
Isle gave a chuckle, bringing up a hand to delicately cover her mouth as if to hide her laughter. "Aw, is someone getting sentimental. I don't know about you, but I still feel like that...taking what freedom is given and running with it as you so put. Being an adult doesn't mean you have to act like one all the time. My father is about five hundred and fifty now, and he still acts moments where I do believe that he is really three. It's amusing from time to time." Though then another laugh. "However...when you are that young, you don't get into nearly as much trouble as you would if you were our age and got caught doing something."

Arthur blinked a few times before turning towards Isle as she tried to hide her laughing, the younger elf smiled back and shook his head slightly. "Go ahead and laugh..." He said as he nudged her with his foot just for fun. "Well when looking at them it's hard not to be sentimental, the three of them together are so cute and they are funny to watch..." He titled his head lightly when he looked at the children again before looking at Isle. "Well I've noticed that but you understand what I mean...though it would be funny to see an elf would has lived for over half a millennium to act like a three year old again..." His smile grew a little bigger and he couldn't help but laugh lightly. "But yes your right if you do something wrong you either get a pat on the head and a warning or a little punishment but that's about it...again they are lucky." He sighed a little as he turned his head back to the kids and it seemed he was thinking deeply for a second before saying. "I hope I can have one of my own someday...not that I'm rushing it or anything." Another laugh to that, the elf had a long time ahead of him and he wasn't going to just rush into some major things, no he wanted to enjoy life and he was; but he would like to have his own child one day and hopefully he could have a daughter and a son.

"Yes well, these troublemakers did quite a number on our victim and I can't seem to figure out why he was attacked. He was working for Twilight at the time which makes it a personal affront to Lord D'vinn." She paused for a moment and listened, mentally cycling through the questions she would like to ask. One eyebrow raised as he asked his tentative question and she decided it couldn't hurt to answer and see just how many knew about Sevilin. "Sevilin Inthara. He showed up out in the yard, beaten, tied and weaponless aside from his own natural abilities." She didn't add that he was a rune mage and should have been able to take care of any number of attackers single handedly. "I do know that Lord D'vinn is highly agitated about this. When he came back inside from meeting with those who brought Sevilin's weapon back he thundered that he was going to raze the village. Of course I believe Lady D'vinn might be able to stay his anger but unless he gets a personal apology or some answers, his ire could easily be invoked." She began to pace, frustrated that Nadai had no more answers than she was able to get from anywhere else. "Do you think you might be able to talk tot his Mira and get her version of the story, Nadai? Your methods do not concern me, I know you can be...very convincing."

Isle gave a snort. "Depends on who you partner with I would suppose on whether you were to have a family or not. Look at poor Piper for example, she had to take so many different fertility drugs and be miserable for over six months to even get close to being able to concieve. Us surface elves just don't have that reproductive flair...at least us females don't. I don't expect to have children, seeing as my body works against me in that aspect. Though I wouldn't be upset that if perchance it happened." Giving a shrug, she was quite comfortable about her lack of adequate fertility, after all it was just something she had to deal with.
Oh thank the powers above that were benevolent. It would of really really been bad if it had been a D'vinn that was attacked. They would surely all meet thier deaths. Okay, he felt a little better now. Though yes, still uncomfortable in the rather lavish surroundings. But a nod from him. "Yeah, I know Mira, in fact I was going to ask her what went down, I just hadn't gotten around to it since I got your letter and it seemed urgent." As she talked about 'convincing' he gave again that dashing smile. "Convinced you, didn't I? But no worries, I'm sure I can find something out that's useful."

Arthur popped up an eyebrow at Isle when she went on the explain how surface elves are with their fertility rate and just shrugged lightly, he didn't care much about it. "Yeah I remember hearing about that, we surface elves do have a slim chance to but still we do have one which is good none the less." Though he paused for a second as he watched Isle, his eye giving a quick once over for kicks and he chuckled slightly, he didn't care if she noticed he was just playing around after all. "Well be careful with what you say, you may never know maybe one of these days your body will surprise you and get you pregnant though it wouldn't be bad of course." Another chuckle to that as he was now grinning slightly. "But I think you'll be a good mother if you have a child and whoever the father will be will also be happy as well to have a loving woman and son or daughter." Arthur was still grinning as he watched Isle, he could see her as a mom, a child in her arms as she whispers sweet words to the little one; it would be so cute to see something like that.

She gave him a smile and walked over chuckling. "Yes,yes you did. Now use that same charm and devil may care attitude and get what I want from your friend." She patted his leg then stood up and headed for the door. "I'll expect you to know something soon." She fished a link stone out of her pocket and dropped it into his hand. "This is on loan since notes take way too long. When you know something, link me and we'll go from there." She showed him how to activate it, gave him a few more instructions and then stepped back. She would just steal Sevilin's. It had to still be in his pants pocket and those were currently in her possession. "Any questions?"

"Oh I would know if that chance was there...the day I get all giggly and flushed and men are suddenly overly attracted to me, I am locking myself away until it's over." Crossing her arms lightly and leaning against the door frame again. Then a shrug. "I don't know, I may be too wild to raise a child of my own. After all, I'm barely an adult by Andalian standards and I'm in no rush to calm down any time soon." Though a smirk to him. "You aren't even adult yet, isn't that cute? So I guess you still have free license to do wild things without too much fear."
"Wow you're demanding." Said in that sarcastic tone he was known to get. But he let her show him things and absorbed the knowledge easily. Then a look back to Zahara's eyes. "Do I have to live in fear for the time that I have nothing to tell you? Because I really don't like the thought of Vesendar halfway down the dragon's throat if you get what I mean. Kinda not fair to make us all suffer for some idiots..." Giving a sigh. "And would you like that I get Mira to come here and tell things herself? I could probably get that done."
