She just kept talking. "I felt two people in that apartment. I got that woman out, but as soon as I did, the other life disappeared... I think they died. I just wanted to find the body."

She nodded and opened her eyes. She stared forward and looked through her blurred gaze at the room. She was still upset about it.

Mari thought about it and her eyes widened as she thought it through. That could be a clear possibility. She could have sworn it was in the same room and the lady didn't mention anything about someone else being in there. "I could only hope that's the case. Then that would mean I got everyone out."

She smiled and just kept hoping that was the case. It felt like a weight was lifted off of her shoulders at the idea of it. All she did was let out a deep sigh and closed her eyes again. The smile not fading from her face.
