I've yet to have a cell phone with a camera in it. And I sure as hell never got to pick out my own cell phone. My mom got me one, programmed the minutes in, gave it to me, and told me to call in emergencies. Hell, I thought it was nifty when I got a flip phone.
And I consider myself pretty spoiled. I don't even want to know what kid of brats your customers are bringing in.

I saw a rose rapier for 49k, but kept holding out for the queen bee or buttercream rose to lower so I could buy the more expensive stuff first. I can't find any for under 80k, now. It could just be the time, but I bet they're gonna shoot right back up tomorrow. Urgh. These random items are killing me. JUST PUT THE s**t IN THE CASH SHOP SO I CAN BUY WHAT I WANT! mad

They aren't available to the average user. The only reason I afforded all the stuff I wanted is because I'm not the average user (relatively talented artist/old member sitting on a pile of old items I paid very little for back when they were cheap). And while I'm generally willing to defend these stupid chance items or say "just wait it out and the prices might drop", I just wish it was more fair on everyone who doesn't buy cash and doesn't have a mass of wealth to get the worthwhile stuff from them. ):

I waited for the prices to drop... they didn't by much. And any old items I have of value are stuck in my storage.
Gaia has a set gold value in mind when they adjust the rarity. Anybody who says they don't is a jackass. Putting in old, unattainable items worth over 1 mil to increase the circulation, like the bunny slippers, is good. Creating entirely new items in that price range? ******** ridiculous.
Edit: Are you kidding me? The entire marketplace search is down. You can't even get to items through wishlists. The only way to find them is if somebody has one equipped, you can go through that. Real convenient timing, Gaia. stare

OH MY GOD STOP LETTING HIM GET YOUR HOPES UP. This is HOW many times now that he's come around and seemed interested, but something got in the way? I highly, HIGHLY doubt he's changed in like four months, and I have a feeling this is going to end the same way - with you hurting and in tears.

Lady Pyre Camera phones. Ha. I was reading this article about "sexting" and how parents need to talk to their kids. Or... you know... How about you don't buy your irresponsible kid a cell phone with a CAMERA in it? Problem solved! A sophomore at my school had nude pictures of herself sent all over the school. How dumb do you have to be to send nude pictures of your 15-year-old self to your boyfriend of like three weeks? Yay for going to college, the land where dumb ******** are dumb ******** because they're dumb ******** and not just because they're young. (I don't actually know the length of the relationship I just assume it wouldn't have been someone she could trust that well otherwise it wouldn't have happened at all 9_9) On phones teens want soooo bad they have fits if they don't get - WHY DID/DOES EVERYONE WANT A SIDEKICK.

The really bad thing is that these people aren't 18. The law never took into account that people might exploit themselves, so... They can actually be prosecuted for creating, owning, and distributing child pornography.

i can't believe that anybody - teenager or not - thinks it's a good idea to email around naked pictures of themselves. i mean, if they want them to remain private, anyway. i am continually flabbergasted by the naivete, or maybe outright stupidity, of large numbers of people.

I can't imagine taking nude pics of oneself. I mean, I've never freaking done it, and I wouldn't do it still today. Not even for my fiance, seriously. |:<
