"Huh?" She said turning around . She noticed a figure somewhat off in the distance, but couldn't really make him out. She shrugged figuring it was some homeless guy. "Get alot of those around here.."She said. As she turned the corner .She hit something hard or rather some one.
"Ow what the-"She looked into eyes of a rather large guy . Sevral other guys came from behind him all with either a chain or bat in their hands.
"Well well..what do we got here a pair of punks...looks you two are having those wrong time and wrong place scenarios.."he said cracking his knuckles.
Slone took a step back "Oh great this is something I really don't need right now.."

[We'll just say it was a homeless guy, and that AD decided to go off...]
Vulcan had rounded the corner, and saw Slone walk into the large guy in their way. "I think it's you having the scenario...because I don't like to be ******** with." Vulcan's eyes were glowing, and before he knew it he had moved Slone out of the way. "So if you want to take me...fight fair. You don't use your friends...and I won't fry your a**."

"Don't"Slone said grabbing arm. They were normal people and could get hurt. She remeebred the rule of not picking fights. Though they didn't pick a fight.
"Better listen to your girlfriend.." he said with a smug grin. "And I ain't no point in fighting fair." he snapped his fingers and one guy grabbed slonefrom behind .Causing her to shreik, but he covered her mouth to slince her , while she struggled to get out of his grasp.

Vulcan jerked his head as Slone screamed, and pointed a finger at the man. "Let her go!!" He roared, letting off a blast at the man. One that was aimed for the visible part of his head. Without looking to see where it hit, he turned back to the 'leader.' His hands were glowing now and he reared back and swung, hoping that his energy would explode. Gabe wasn't thinking straight at this point. Humans attacking them, and putting his friends in danger...not something Gabe dealt with very well.

She ducked as the man who was holding her was sent into the wall. The main guy sent them all to attack Gabe , but the energy had caused them all to be taken a back.
She got up and made her way to Gabe, since people were starting to gather . "C'mon let's go forget about them.."She said hurriedly not want to cause any more trouble.

Vulcan looked at Slone, the energy from his eyes and hands disappearing. "Alright then...let's go." He said as he turned to follow her. "You're lucky she's here...because I wouldn't stop until you were dead. And that's a promise, not a threat."

When they were far enough away. She stopped and leaned against the wall. Letting out a deep sigh . She couldn't help but laugh. "That was close.. Thanks Gabriel.." she said exhaling.

"Hey, I'll let you decide. But I was thinking about across town," Johnny said as he crossed his arms. The spider he made from fire had dissappeared and the sky went dark as the sun started to set. "So what do you say Bug-Boy? You up to it?"

"Hm." Spider lifted a hand to his chin in thought. "How about the Bugle?" He asked, pointing across the sea of grey to a large building that seemed to be quite a ways off. "Seems far enough don't you think HotHead?" He asked. "I have work to get back to crime-fighting eventually, so I can't play all night." He added with a bit of a smirking pride in his voice.

"Hey, ready when you are BugBrain. And when I win I'll treat you to a pizza with your favorite topings, flies." Johnny lauged at his own bad joke. "So when you're ready lets go. I'll even be nice and gie you a 2 block head start." Standing at the edge of the building's ledge Johnny waited for Spider-Man to head out first.

Tick tock tick tock tick tock. The sound of the clocked chimed in the darkness, echoing through the building. The smell of mildew and decay was thick in the air and a mass of creatures could be heard scurrying around in the darkness of the abandoned building. Droplets of condensation built up into tiny water spheres began to trickle down from the roof of the building onto the young man below, wetting his face. Slowly his eyes opened looking out into the abyss of stagnation. Slowly arising to a upward sit he looked around making sure he was where he had went for his rest.
Feeling safe he stood up and stretched his leg and arm muscles letting out a deep yawn. "Dam...how long was I out for..." He said in a low tone of voice, rubbing his head slightly, having a monster of a head ache. Closing his eyes for a moment a soft tune slowly began to come into an audible level soothing the aggravating migraine. Walking toward the window of the room, he made careful not to fall through the weak termite eaten floor of the second floor of the building.
Looking down below he could see all the pedestrians walking around below going about their business as if they hadn't a care in the world. Not only did he know where the people he could see where but he could tell where everyone on the block was and what they where doing. It made him kinda sad to know that they could enjoy things restricted to someone like him, even though he had never done anything but defend himself.
Cursing under his breath he waited until the coast was clear before jumping off of the ledge of the window to a nearby building. Landing smoothly he looked back as he was now standing across the street. A gust of wind came blowing through whipping his black T-shirt and almost blowing his hat clean off. Grabbing it he walked over to the stair case adjusting his hat down tight. Once he was on the street he walked down a couple of blocks, looking as inconspicuous as possible.
Using his powers he vibrated his hands to a low hum using them to grab peoples wallets right from their pockets. Walking into a nearby alley he removed all the money from the wallets and dropped them to the ground, no longer needing them. The money was all he really needed at the moment. Coming into a restaurant he ordered himself a burger, some fries, a vanilla milk shake and a Dr. Pepper.
Eating his food he realised the shake was too thick and used his powers to shake things up inside of the cup a bit. Once it was too his liking he finished everything up and walked out of the diner feeling refreshed. He didn't know that the brief use of his powers had not gone unnoticed to some eyes that where also in the diner. As he made his way down the street he realised that two guys where following him. They made their way closer and closer growing increasingly bolder until they snatched him into an alley way.
Not putting up a fight he let them grab him and throw him against the wall." We know what you are..Mutant!" One guy pulling out a knife, the other man pulling out a gun. These weren't ordinary street thugs..They where Police Officers. He could tell by the badges momentarily shown as they opened their coats to get their weapons." Hey! I haven't done anything.." He said in protest only serving to make them even angrier."You're a dirty a** mutant that's good enough for me."
As the cop raised his gun to fire the young mutant narrowed his eyes. Using his power he sent a piercing noise through the air that shattered the glass of the above windows, causing the Officer to fire his gun and miss. Both men backed up grabbing their ears which they where now bleeding out of." What the hell is wrong with you people? I just want to exist! "Opening the palm of his hand he grabbed both of their ankles sending a surge of seismic energy coursing through it and shattering both femurs.
Turning around he ran off with surprising swiftness. A police radar would clock it as 60 MPH. Gaining momentum he leaping into the air covering 70 yards and landing in an empty parking lot. Breathing hard he balled his fists up and punched the ground, leaving a fist sized crater." ******** that...I can't live like this anymore." Just then he remembered about a place said to be a safe heaven for mutants. Xavier's Institute... He thought for a moment before turning to run away again, covering an even greater distance with his next jump.
Leap after leap he covered making his way toward the so called school for the gifted. He did wonder if the things he heard where true though. There was only one real way to find out the truth and that would be to go there. He had seen an ad in the newspaper for the school and remembered the address written on it. Setting course for the institute he increased his pace and ran at a speed that would only appear as a brief blur, something like a car going by on the highway.
Birth name Andrew Thomas, the name human society recognizes him by and also a way for the humans to brand and keep track of those superior to them. Real identity...Gyrate the name he gave to himself and is recognized by those who understand him.

Gabriel nodded as he watched Slone lean against the wall. "you going to be alright?" He asked looking in the direction they had come from. "Come on...we should fly back home. It isn't safe here..." He spoke and held out his hand.

"I know how fast I am," Johnny said to himself as he watched Spider-Man reach two blocks with relative ease. "Show time." Taking a quick breath, Johnny jumped off the edge of the building. Falling quick Johnny took a moment before yelling, "Flame on!" His body instantly igniting. With what sounded like a jet engine Johnny was soon streaking across the sky, followed by a flaming tail. The two blocks Spider-Man had on him where slowly starting to dissapear as Johnny slowly closed the gap an inch at a time. "I won't beat him just yet, let him think he's winning for just a little while longer."
