Maki pulled her legs close to her which she now regretted doing as she fell back in pain.
"I hope so," she replied. "I hate being a sack of deadweight to my friends."

"Look on the bright side, you have friends, which I'm sure care about you very much. I usually travel alone, mostly because when I join a group, I'm not very much help or I'm too much of a problem to deal with," Fira said with a shrug, "But I'm used to it by now."

"Yeah? Why would you feel that way?" Maki asked her head beginning to spin, the potion isn't working too well. "I know my friends care about me and I love them too, but it will be hard for me to help them when I can't even help myself."
As she stared at the stars they began spinning and she passes out.
"Uhngggg...."

The fire bullet managed to cancel out a majority of the ice spell, as well as pierce the man's other shoulder, cauterizing the wound as it pierced his skin. The man suddenly charged at Zetsuei with his scythe in hands. He was only a few feet away from Zetsuei before he swung the massive scythe at him.
Suddenly, he stopped dead in his tracks.
The red glow in his eyes dimmed. A look of confusion was on his face as he looked at Zetsuei and his surroundings. "What...where the hell am I--ARGH!" The man shouted in anguish as the reddish glow in his eyes shone even brighter than before. This time, the man's fang teeth grew in size.
"Hello there, Shadow Rogue. Meet Tenshin, one of my oldest slaves. Like you, he's one of those pathetic Shadow Rogues that I wiped out long ago. Tenshin, however, was almost too powerful for me to destroy...and so, I keep him as my mind-controlled slave. I thought it would be a fitting death for you to see one of your own kind before he takes the light from your eyes..." Tenshin, who was obviously being controlled by someone else, let out an evil laugh.
"Once you're gone...my brother and that stupid woman will be mine...then my power will be...unstoppable."
He laughed once more before swinging the scythe over his head and bringing it down towards Zetsuei's head.

"No one is going to take the light from my eyes"
Zetsuei's eyes began to glow intensily, as he flicke dhis wrist down causing all the the bullet pop out of the chambers and pulled two bullets from his belt and put one of them into one of the three chambers a she began to cast a spell
"Demon of darkess, demon of shadow I summon you from the void to bestow me with the power of darkness the power of night. Fiend of day, fiend of sun, I summon you from the spirit world to bestow me with the power of fire the power of light. Demon of black Fiend of white, the power of day the power of night combine to send this creature back to hell"
One of the bullets began to glow a purplish black color as he fired the first bullet, then following was a bullet glowing a orangish red which hit the back of the first bullet which merged the two energies into one. At the front of the energy it took the form of an ancient cat beast with massive fangs which went straight for Tenshin.

"Hm, but maybe..." Fira stopped as she looked down at Maki as she suddenly passed out. She stood there unsure of what to do, "Uh, oh." She looked around to see if there was anyone near to help, but they were in the felds and not many where around so she simply sat down and waited.

Maki looked around the field and saw Fira had disappeared. The only thing remaining was the tree. "What's so special about this tree?" she wondered as she sat down under it and stared at the stars.

When kisaragi got back he was shocked to find that the camp had been destroyed. Bodies laid there, burnt and blackened from the smoking remains. The disc on his back started to light up like it was red hot then suddenly three bushes around the camp set alight.
Out of the corner of his eye he saw some foot prints with one paw dragging. From what he could tell it seemed his sister got away from what ever attacked or invaded the camp...
"...Hmm, she must be injured...I'll have to go find her..."
Kisaragi started to walk in to the forest...
After a while he noticed that the tracks went on for a while and decided to head back to town and get some supplies for the journey.
"...Right, I'll got back, use this money to get some food and water and set off again..."
Kisaragi darted of towards town...

Kyana had got upand had left the alley since Kisaragi had left. It was mid day now and the sun was fairly high. In fact Arvadia was one of the only places you could really see the sun through the mist in all of the mist continent granted it was brighter where the mist was thinner but you could never actually see the sun. But here there was no mist atall a miracle of nature and unknown to any why.
Kyana smelt the fresh air and the smell of freshly baked bread filled her lungs. A baker had just made a new batch nearby. Kyana couldnt help herself and walked in looking in the pouch on her waist she fumbled for some coins finding some she walked up to the counter.
"Can i have one of those loaves sir."
she looked to the side and chuckled
"and one of those sticky looking buns you have there"
"Certainly miss that 85 gil."
Kyana placed the money on the table and picked up the loaf placing it in a small sack she carried with her. she then picked up the bun which had a small piece of tissue to hold it in before taking a bite it was exquisite. It was then she turned round and saw the wolf kisaragi run past.
"Hmm wasn't he going home."
She walked to the door and stepped out before calling out to him
"Hey Kisaragi what up?"

Kisaragi heard his name being called from behind him. He slows to a walking pace and goes up to the human he meant earlier that day...
"...Good day, I see you are still here...not looking for your firend?..."
Kisaragi looked inthe door way to find a bakery...
"...Perfect...."
Kisaragi walks in ignoring the human and his response to the question...
"...I need some bread and some water...I dont suppose you have some here?..."
The baker asked if it was a speaical event or just to eat...Kisaragi replied...
"...No, I just need some cheap bread, I have a long journey ahead of me..."

Tenshin's possessed face disappeared as Zetsuei's attack hit him. He fell backwards in pain, a cold sweat running down his face. "W-w-what's going on...I...I can't...?!" Blood began to seep through his clothes as he looked up at Zetsuei. "W-why...why did y-you...we're the same..." Tenshin's last words almost seemed to echo as his eyes shut.

Finally arriving at the front of the hospital, Shinja sighed. Why did I come back here...I wanted to be alone... He sighed again before taking a sip from his newly refilled liqupr bottle. He then leaned against the wall, staring up at the night sky.

Kyana turned round in order to reply as kisaragi seemed in a rush.
"Theres no point rushing around trying to find my freind its a big world and he may not even be on this continent. What are you in such a hurry for?"
Kyana continued to eat her bun while she waited for a reply.
Kyana thought to herself
"If only I had a clue as to where he even headed"

Kisaragi grabbed the bag from his side and pasted it to the human...
"...Could you do me a favou and pay the nice bakery for his fine goods, and keep the change, I have no need for it anymore..."
Kisaragi was about to head out the door when he turned back to reply to the human...
Kisaragi tourned round hanging his head to the floor, in a slow painful voice he replied...
"...If you want to know, on my return to the camp I found my family and there remains. But it seems that my sister might have made if out alive so i must go hunt for her...Do you plan on doing anything other than eating and waiting around?..."

Kyana gasped as she listened to what Kisaragi had to say and she dropped the remains of the bun on the floor.
"Oh my god Kisaragi When where?"
Kyana then quickly pulled money from the bag and throwing it on the counter. Kyana knew the burden of death and that which it brought but if they could save just one then it had to be done Kyana also knew what it was like to know that someone you care for is alive but not to know where. As always fate played its hand and kyana decided fate must be guiding her to this vargs sister.
She ran out the door and called back.
"Quick lets go show me the way."
