Mari walked in through a portal from the guild and was outside of the tree house. She looked around and couldn't find Matt anywhere. 'Hmm... He must be done training...' is all she thought as she climbed the ladder leading up into the house.

*a portal opened and smash emerged. he had just encountered a large amount of night fiends and had to fight then all for they were attaking a small dragon. after the fight the dragon seemed to follow him everywhere so he decided he'll let it tag along. unknown to him though, the back of his arm was cut and still bleeding. he walked to the treehouse and smelt mari's scent so he jumped in through a window as he normally did with the dragon following right after him*

Mari looked around the house when she first came in and didn't see Matt anywhere. She didn't worry, though, because she figured he might of ran into town. When he came home, she was in the kitchen washing a skillet so she could make them dinner. Not paying attention really to what was going on around her. She had nothing to really worry about. No one but her and Matt could get to this realm.

*he sniffed the air again and smelt that she was cooking. now that he was excited he dashed into the kitchen and ran up behind her and put his head on her shoulder looking down. the dragon followed then perched itself on his shoulder, looking down as well*
hey babe. whatcha makin?

Mari let out a small squeel when she all the sudden had a man looking over her shoulder. She then laughed. "Nothing yet... What did you want, hun?" She finished washing the skillet and took it over to the stove.

*leans back and sits down on a chair and the dragon landed on top of the table. he played with it a bit*
i'll have just about anything. i imagine buddy here can eat just about anything himself.
