PERSONALITY: Layren has low self esteem and is terribly afraid of rejection. While he knows that he’s not the worst mutated child out there his original birth parents still shunned him and he wonders if and when people will desert him. As such he can be rather cold and detached when first meeting him or on really bad days because he knows that the world isn’t a fair place. He’s prone to bits of pessimism and he had a short temper. However he also know that good things can come and he tries to find joy in every that he can. Appreciating each day as it comes.
Layren is also the type that prefers talking first over leaping into the fray of battle, but he knows this doesn’t always work and he will do whatever he feels is the most appropriate for the situation. He tries to come across as peaceful and understanding but he also does admit he has a bit of a love of adventure and the more dangerous the more Layren seems to be in his element. Layren is extremely loyal to his friends and will go to the ends of the earth to help them in whatever way he can. Past Layren wasn't one of the cache babies although he wishes that he was. He was imbued by parents who probably weren't quite ready for the responsibilities that came with raising a child, even worse they imbued his stone during October. Luckily Layren's mutations weren't as extreme as they could be. He just has wings that are on the smaller side and will never be able to carry his weight because he's missing certain feathers.
However one day his parents just dropped him off at the orphanage and he never saw them again. He was obviously really hurt by this and the fact that he normally had a stern expression kept all the other kids from really playing with him. Then his good luck kicked in and a fallen who was visiting the orphanage came and Layren ended up adopted by her. Now he has a better mom and dad that actually want him. He even has a cousin that's a grimm too and a pretty awesome Uncle. Present Layren is still extremely nervous that he'll screw up and Morin and Nasai will give him back to the orphanage although he has to admit they are awesome parents and always try to make him feel wanted. He even has little siblings of his own now and he met up with one of his rare friends at the orphanage thayne. Layren isnt quiet sure how he feels about that though since thayne still apparently wants to marry him and is extremely pouncey.... yeah thayne is a bit weird but he's layren's you know?
Luckily the whole family accepts his boyfriend and thayne even seems to get along with vega, leto’s boyfriend. Life isn’t always sunshine and roses but the important part is that everyone sticks together and Layren is happy to have found his family.
Layren's room leans towards the cluttered side, but its because he never seems to get rid of his books. He's always collecting them since one of his favorite pass times is to loose himself in a book. He tends to like multi layered things and little hideaways where he can shut him self off from his room mates, which he probably actually picked up from Nasai.

He's still a bit distant and you have to work to get his attention ♣♣♣♣♣- He'll actually remember you and while he wont actively seek you out he'll wave when you walk by. ♣♣♣♣♣- Its about here that he stops being so cold and you can see a happier more playful Layren. Good job you're getting there. ♣♣♣♣♣- you are definitely considered a friend, Layren will actually occasionally seek you out or pull up a chair next to you.
♣♣♣♣♣ - Layren will do anything for you. Well with in reason. He'll try to make sure you feel like your special and valued.
✖✖✖✖✖ - you are definitely getting ignored, and Layren is already showing signs of irritation ✖✖✖✖✖. –Layren's not sure how to handle you. you'll get cold glares and he'll purposely get up and go to another part of the room. ✖✖✖✖✖ .- Layren will flat out ignore you. He'll only answer if directed by another adult and you can plainly see his unease. He's also probably constantly glaring. ✖✖✖✖✖. –speaking your name pisses him off, and he's not above being vindictive enough to sabotage you. Its probably a good thing to steer clear away from him at this point. His temper is definitely frayed if you enter the room. ✖✖✖✖✖ - he absolutely loathes your existence, seeing your face will instantly have him seeing red. you probably shouldn't stay around him long least he turn violent.. how the hell did you get here?

After all she was the one that choose him. He's super proud of her.
Morin- ♣♣♣♣♣- Layren obviously loves his dad as well, and will help Morin when ever Morin is working on music. he gets a lot of his love for art through hanging out with his dad.
Thayne- ♣♣♣♣♣- this is his best friend, although shhh dont tell thayne this. He is extremely fond of the other hallowed although he doesnt always show it.
Leto- ♣♣♣♣♣- this is his younger brother. Layren tries to look out for Leto considering how shy leto can be or sick leto can be. they'll often curl up in the library together.
Tsukiyomi- ♣♣♣♣♣- this is his oldest younger sister, he is kind of protective and definitely will spoil her if he can get away with it. he takes his big brother job very seriously although she's definitely a lot more assertive and energetic than other members of the family.
Jin ♣♣♣♣♣- His younger sister, Layren gets along with Jin the most, maybe because she reads people and adapts accordingly. It could also be because she is the only other sibling that can't fly. He just wishes that when ever thayne was over she would stop talking notes.
Shen- ♣♣♣♣♣- Shen is a mystery to Layren. They seem to like getting into trouble and doing things they shouldn't. however other times they are quiet and serious like Morin. Its confusing. Still he loves his younger brother
Sphinx ♣♣♣♣♣- Sphinx definitely has a lot of Fon genes, and is utterly hyper active. Lately though she has been sleeping as he has been in charge watching her. he worries about her.
this is Ten, it was the last present from his "birth" mother. He keeps Ten around now to remind him that some one thought he was special enough to want. Ten seems to always bring him really good luck. His first treat from a halloween festival, now if only he could find Nasai again really the plushie is cute but where did nasai go

- Aetio Layren wasnt quite to sure about Aetio when he first took him home, but Nasai and Morin seem to not mind too much and Aetio gets along with the other pets. If only he wasnt so squirmy and mischief making. He already has to deal with thayne
Manto Manto is pretty friendly although he keeps having to replace all the magical devices in his room. Layren hopes that when he gets older he'll have enough magical juice that he doesn't have to keep replacing said magical items.
