My sister raised a bratty tech addict. He's not even 3 yet and he's addicted to movies, phone+computer games cause my sister does the 'distract the child to have more time to self' way of mothering. I always have to fix something and find my tablet pen after they leave. Occasionally mourn loss of written or drawn things. =.=
The other one's just under 1yr, so not too much trouble, but he's starting to walk and tries to grab and eat everything.

I actually thought of this the other day since my character has his own ship, I think it would be a neat idea, just not sure how to go about doing it sweatdrop

Well ... how technical do you want to get? xD
Because we can get pretty granular. Here's a sample weapon table:

Name: [Weapon Name]
Description: [Weapon Description]
    Classification: [Primary | Secondary | Tertiary]
    Type: [Ballistic | Beam | Flak | Laser | Missile]
    Base Damage: Integer
      [0-1X] Armor Damage Multiplier
      [0-1X] Shield Damage Multiplier
      [0-1X] Subsystem Damage Multiplier
    Lifetime: (seconds)
    Range: (meters)
    Rate of Fire: (shots per second)
    Velocity: (meters per second)
    Flags: (Anti-Aircraft, Bypass, Capital, Corkscrew, Direct-Fire, Dumb-Fire, EMP, Homing, Kinetic, Painter, Piercing, Shockwave, Shotgun, Slashing, Swarm)

And filled out with arbitrary values for a long-range cannon:

Name: Vaishnavastra-B
Description: Extended range anti-subsystem mass driver.
    Classification: Primary
    Type: Ballistic
    Base Damage: 2 500
      1.00X Armor Damage
      0.25X Shield Damage
      1.00X Subsystem Damage

And you have a similar table for ships, with max speed, acceleration, turning rate, arbitrary value for armor strength, arbitrary value for shield strength, and attach a list of these weapons to it. Or you can make separate tables too for armor types, shields, sensors, and engines to make for even more granular data but also way better organization.

That seems really.....complicated. I can't do math to save my life (I have a disability) so I wouldn't be able to do anything like that.
I was thinking something a lot simpler, haha.......
I have a difficult time following along with stuff like that, I barely understood half of the ship stuff in the original star trek :c
