Kurogane walked over to their kill on Shadow's back and pulled it by the leg over to Stormy. "What piece do you want?" He spoke with less worry and even wagged his tail. This was unusual for his kind especially. He heard Shadow speak to him. "We don't have to share with anyone else. If they wanted some, they would have followed. It also stands that we are not in a pack so it is everyone for themselves," the demon said in a matter a fact manner. A thought popped into his mind afterwards and his attention was back on the female. "I don't understand something," Kuro pondered after his words to Shadow. "How are you so fierce with a kill like this but so wim-- docile with other wolves?" He paused trying to understand his own words but continued. "I mean fighting is a form of dominance but it is also a form of play."

"Haha nothing gets past your mind does it." He sat and sighed softly, "When you have seen as much death as I have and caused as much death as I have you wouldn't want to hurt any other wolf in your life either." He looked at the pair and laughed softly. "You like her and if you want to keep her protect her fight for her in this land you have such a hard time already make sure she is safe and you will be fine." A tear fell from his eye and he looked away, "Thats where I wish I would have suceeded where the failure weighs heavy." The scar on his eye was very visible.

"Death? Killing? You don't know the meaning of those word the way I do..." Kurogane's world flashed before his mind's eye before shook the thoughts away. Kuro then growled at the other male. "A-And it's your fault for her getting hurt! You knew this thing was dangerous but you had her attack the most dangerous part!!" Kuro would take the blame if the other male wasn't as casual as he was. He believed that he was more than enough to protect Stormy but Kurogane was oblivious to his feeling for the female or rather he ignored them more than anything else. He was still young compared so the other demons he had faced over the years but to these wolves before him, he was old enough to be their great grandparent. Also, he was a demon; one in the same of beasts that terrorized this land. It was a hopeless fantasy. Instead of his smart-aleky air he sported earlier, he succumbed to silence and torn into their fresh catch.

"I take full responsibility for that I was hesitant and made a lapse in judgement." He knew Kurogane held a past similiar to him, "You are not the only demon here my friend but as a demon that survived on pack law inparticular his pack law love was forbidden I broke that to be with my beloved but as earlier I wish I would have thought things through." He looked at the young male as he tore into the carcus and just laid down his appetite had not returned and he was just relieved that Stormy was ok he didnt want to elaborate on his or Kuroganes past so he let it be.

"Stormy, Shadow, would you like a piece?" He only asked because he didn't want eat the whole thing and be greedy. Be considerate was hard because he was not used to it.

Stormy blushed at Shadows words about Kurogane liking her she turned her head to hide her blush. As she was trying to get her blush under control Kurogane asked her if she would like a piece of the kill she turned her head and said " I would love some." Stormy tore a huge chunk off and began chewing and crunching through bone after she was done she licked her muzzle and waited till the other two were done eating.

"No thank you it was just fun to hunt in a group after all these years. It was a rush a rush I missed more than I realized." He stood up his size told the story of many altercations and he began to scratch his ear with his hind leg and smiled softly, "But you two enjoy yourselves I'm ok."

Kurogane gorged himself in the rest of the carcass. He did not hold back at how savage he was; he was too hungry. After finishing the kill and licking some of the bones clean, he asked Shadow, "Fight with me." It was a simple sentence and was not meant to be taken as a challenge. Kuro just wanted to have some fun and be sociable.

Stormy rolled her eyes and grined and mumbled " what is it with males and whanting to rough house."

"Because it is fun. There is nothing to do so why not?" He knelt low on his fore limbs and waved his tail. "Come on Shadow. I know you need to relax. Unless," Kuro turns to Stormy. "You want to tussle with?" Kurogane flashed a smirk in a teasing gesture.

Shadow laughed and lunged at Kurogane as he was distracted by Stormy, "Haha never get distracted." He rolled with him and nipped his ear playfully laughing and his cares melting away.

Kuro rolled with Shadow. "That was cheap!" he laughed and he pawed at the other male's neck playfully as well. 'Is this what friends are like?' It was a feeling of euphoria for him to actually play in the actual since of the word.

Stormy rolled her eyes again and watched the two wrestle. Unlike the playing she was used to from her past these two were playing for fun and not to the death which was unfamiler to her due to her scareing past.

Tamashi walked calmly in the forest, the wind blowing softly through his black fur, he sniffed the fresh air and smiled today started of to be a good day. He walked for a while longer until he reached a lake he lapped down some water then ran into the lake doing one of his favorite things to do, swim.
